You gained a sub simply because no PC build tutorial could help me find where to connect my SATA cable 😂 but your random video that showed up in my recommendations did !!
Thank you so much for this video! It’s extremely well-made. I had two quick questions: 1. Can you skip the ARGB cable and only have the SATA plugged in if your motherboard does not support ARGB? 2. If your GPU has a single 8-pin port, can you remove half of the cables and reposition the remaining to be in the center of the LED strips? Thanks!
Thanks so much. Yes you can plug in only the sata cable and everything will work and yes you can move the 8-pin to be centered and only use half of it.
I just got these and installed them today. Thanks for making this video as it helped me flip around the RGB cable for my GPU. I had no trouble getting the 24 pin to work, but couldn't figure out why my triple 8 pin cable was backwards and how to fix it without breaking anything. It's all back together and looks awesome. Good luck to anyone else installing these, it's worth it if you are an RGB enthusiast.
@@MORENO_ROG3 It has all the standard LED colors and several different patterns. White is an option and for each color you can choose a pattern, the speed of that pattern and the brightness. I had a lot of doubt about the compatibility, but thanks to your efforts on this video, I have 0 questions in my mind right now. Also horizontal vs vertical cpu cable part was very useful, i will change my vertical gpu to the horizontal one. Thanks again!
Thanks for the help. Everyone else just shows them working, we know what they look like and bought them because of that. Its nice to see how they hook up and options of hooking them up..
Most detailed and informative video, yet simple to understand. Amazing job, mate. Thank you for showing both the controller and software side of thigs.
Amazing video, however with the controller being inside my case, hard to access it for the buttons so even though it is better, I can imagine using the MOBO software would be far more convenient.
Thanks for the video guide of flipping the connectors - made me realise i want to get this working with my factory PSU Cables so i can avoid extensions but keep the lighting :D
Another great video, now, don’t slow down 😁 I am a little confused. You stated that you can simply connect the SATA for power, and you made it seem like there was no need to connect ANY of the RGB cables. But, if you did not, you would not be able to control any of the lights/colours, right? Or would that simply be done via the controller?
Thank you 🙏 so the only cable needed is the sata power cable. The lighting is controlled with the controller. Optionally you can also connect the addressable RGB cable so you can switch from controller to software control (if you wanna mess with more lighting effects).

I just need to know, may I connect this LIan Li STrimer PLus to my A-RGB case splitter and use it synced with my other A-RGB fans?

Alsoonce I get the software after building the pc can I no longer use the remote to change colors and patterns or do I neeed to keep it mounted somewhere in my build

To get power for the 24-pin unfortunately you have to plug in the sata cable. Idk why they did it this way. For the 8-pin you can use only your motherboard power
did you plug the 2 8pin pcie one directly into an argb header on the mobo or the argb hub/splitter? or did you plug it into the included lian li controller, and then take its argb wire and plug it into either one of those? because on their website it says not to plug into a splitter and must plug it directly to the motherboard.
