The Aeolians have become one of my very favorite choirs now and this is a great arr. of an amazing song. Ben, your transcription of this sometimes thickly arranged chart is excellent. To my ear, and I could be wrong, there are baritones singing the D that is a 5th of the g min.7 chord in bar 12 on the word 'weak." You have just the altos singing the fifth of the chord, but I think it is doubled an octave below by baritones. But really, great job transcribing this challenging chart. :-)
Jeff, I believe you're right! It's a very bass-heavy chord right there, so it must have snuck past my ear. Thanks for the kind words and feedback, especially on my first major transcription project. There will be more to come.
@@BenLewisTranscribes You are most gracious to receive my tiny observation so pleasantly. You absolutely must continue to do these transcriptions - it's a fantastic way to learn composition and develop what is obviously already a fantastic ear for harmony. One day soon we will all be trying to transcribe your marvelous charts. -)
Where do you find the PDF of this arrangement? I could find one in the same key but it is not exactly the same as this arrangement here........ I would love to have the PDF of this arrangement.
I've sung this piece very recently. You have transcribed a few "ghost" divisi (where none actually exist), and missed other divisi that are actually in the sheet music, but this is a decent effort for not having the music in front of you. Also... you should not write a strange re-pitch cue like "A = 427" in the middle of the piece, lol. The choir simply fell a little flat halfway through, which happens a lot in a cappella performances. But otherwise great job.
Just love it Len.
Perfect! The Brazilian Adventists love Aeolians music
A charming lad of the musical arts created this. I'm sure of it.
The treasured code is out... grrrreat!

Thanks for the feedback. I've never sung in a choir before, next time I'll take that into consideration.
