I know it’s a tad bit late but I got 1st alternate for state this year and I’m a sophomore but the best advice I can give you is listen to your music while doing other things like homework or cleaning anything time consuming so that it gets stuck and if you really don’t understand a part ask your director or someone else auditioning :)
