Cheers for the content Paul mate. Still feels wrong that you've had to scale back the channel, one of the best UK based automotive vlogs, no doubt at all for me.
I totally love the content. I just wish more people watched the channel as its loads of fun and very informative. Please don't give up on the channel, it might take some time but the channel should hopefully grow.
As a rally fan and ex Mk3 Golf gti owner loved this video. Already viewed the Clio Sport restoration which was brilliant, hope you made a great profit on the deal and helped keeping this channel going
Amazing how a good "tap" in the right place can fix a fault. Revival videos often give the carb a good tap to free up a stuck float/valve. I even used it on an SU carb with a stuck mixture screw. Looking forward to many more taps, Paul.
Thanks for keeping going Paul😊. I need "restoration roulette" back in my life !!! ..literally brilliant idea ! .… hopefully we can get back to that sometime. 😃
Only just discovered your channel, really enjoying the videos. The production quality and presenting is better than others with 5x the number of subscribers. Keep at it
Hello Paul, Loved this, I love my mk3's also have a storm grey 3dr 16v myself and love the bloody thing, looking forward to seeing a bit more on this one 👌😁
Just come across your channel Paul. Love the content. You have a mint garage there and appear to be very knowledgeable. Following on from your last video on the Clio, its such a shame that you have had to make necessary cuts. Even more annoying that these cuts and increase in cost of living have come through no fault of our own! Disgusts me sometimes how things are done in the country but its good to see someone still smiling and working hard for a living. Keep it up mate! 👍
Great to see you back Paul, sorry to hear the lads have had to take an extended break but keep going and I’m sure things will get better financially. You are to good at what you do to fail 👍. Keep em coming.
I’ve got a Golf 3 Gt tdi, basically a diesel Gti and I love the thing.. 70 mph feels like 120 it’s just a fun car to drive. However I have a list a little more ‘lengthy ‘ than Noel’s, but I’ll never get rid of it.. Great video mate 👍
Ha ha, the older they get the longer the list. Think I remember the Gt-tdi was the 110bhp? Remember you could put the 130 air-mass meter on those to up the power a bit.
Yeah mines a 90 with drums on the back, the 110bhp’s got disc’s all round.. Thanks for the info on upping the oomph, looks like I’m about to get started 👊
Viewer from Sweden here, great content and really nice videos. Surprised that your channel isn't bigger cause your doing it all right! Keep up the good work. Cheers
@@ODDAutos you can always add some smaller part, where you i.e. with the welding, just show how to do a nice weld or the type of welding you use for the stainless steel. Something that is tedious for you, but interesting for your viewers 😊 Or with the cambelt and headlights on the Clio - just show us that as well! But the tempo and humour with these videos where also very great, so it is of course a balance 👍 And moving the camera about and having extra editing is also tedious work for you. Anyways good luck and I have subscribed!
I had a black Mk3 Golf GTI on a K plate. Great car until someone smashed into it when the Mrs was driving. That one you’ve got there is a real survivor.
@@ODDAutos they are a beaut. I've just popped a (basic) video of mine on my (for memories only) channel. I have a miltek on mine. Also got a mk2 16v both sound as awesome if not better than my vr6 corrado ... shhh don't tell anyone that.
Cheers for the content Paul mate. Still feels wrong that you've had to scale back the channel, one of the best UK based automotive vlogs, no doubt at all for me.
Cheers Jim, glad you liked it mate 👍
I totally love the content. I just wish more people watched the channel as its loads of fun and very informative.

Cheers Ian, appreciate that mate. Yes I’ll keep cracking on, lots more projects lined up 👍
Stumbled upon this channel, love the descriptions. It’s like wheeler dealers of old, love it. Looking forward to more!

Ha ha, it’s the way with old cars. Give it a tap and away you go. 🤣
Great content Paul! No fluff, just interesting and informative, with a cheeky edge + plus some fun editing to boot! Top notch! 👏

Thanks for keeping going Paul😊. I need "restoration roulette" back in my life !!! ..literally brilliant idea ! .… hopefully we can get back to that sometime. 😃

Welcome Robin, you’ve got hours of videos to catch up on then. Hope you enjoy 👍👍
I had a black Mk3 Golf GTI on a K plate. Great car until someone smashed into it when the Mrs was driving. That one you’ve got there is a real survivor.
That’s a shame about your mk3, yes there’s not many left now on the road. Can’t remember the last time I saw one driving about. 👍
Nice little project. Hope we get to see you driving it sideways when it's all finished
Yeah remember the of going out clubing and driving back in the RS fiesta with a big bore exhaust system that drown in the background 🤪
Get the McDonald’s trays under the back wheels, instant drift RS then 🤣
Love the channel keep up the good work
Great video as ever. Keep at it and hopefully the channel will continue to grow

Brill, will do 👍👍
Great Chanel mate you deserve more subscribers
Enjoyed that. Just got my mk3 16v running after a load of refresh work.
It’s the exhaust noise of those 16 valve engines, such a low down dirty tone to them. It’s great 👍
@@ODDAutos they are a beaut. I've just popped a (basic) video of mine on my (for memories only) channel. I have a miltek on mine. Also got a mk2 16v both sound as awesome if not better than my vr6 corrado ... shhh don't tell anyone that.
Remember the power rohr inlet on these, that made some great noise too
yeah, a bit more of that please!
more of that please! 😄👍🏻
Loving the content! Seamless editing is top notch too
Thanks mate, takes me ages to edit. The hardest part is the filter on the screen to make me look more handsome ha ha 👍
@@ODDAutos that's worth a video in itself

Thanks Salmo 👍👍
I had a black mk3 like this years ago, wasn't as nice as my mk2 jetta gti so sold the golf on..hope to see it again on the channel soon 👍
I’ve always had the mk2 golf’s, getting a classic now 👍

8:10 those front wheels needed swapping around to correctly those directional tyres 👍
