- As I was looking back through my video archives, I came across this epic day of trainspotting from 2012. I was very surprised at how much has changed since then and decided to finally compile the video.
Practically every train you see is either no longer the same or scrapped today. You will see Re 460s with the "2000" logo, Intercity services with Cisalpino, Eurocity & EW I wagons, multiple Ae 6/6 locomotives (1952 - 1966) including the oldest in service at that time (11404), Rbe 540 locomotives (1959 - 1966), 2 Talgo Night trains, a Bm 6/6 shunting (1954 - 1961), Am 6/6s shunting (1976), Eem 923 in quadruple traction, a fire and rescue train, Re 4/4 II locomotives (1964 - 1985) including the oldest in mainline service (11108), many Re 6/6 locomotives (1972 - 1980) and a handfull of diesel shunters, modern locomotives as well as electric multiple units.
Coming soon: A list of all available trains with corresponding time stamps.

Super film
This are good züge and super👍👍👍
An excellent video in which every minute had something interesting to see. Your camera work is so good that it looks as if you had professional experience. You patiently wait for the action to develop in the frame and then find the right moment to pan with the movement. Not many UA-camrs do that. As an old TV man, I appreciate the skill.
That's very nice of you. Sometimes I got the feeling that viewers preferred shots without panning so recently I've stuck to still shots - but now I know it's appreciated.
Besten Dank
Just love your train videos of the SBB network. Every time we visit Switzerland, we use Swiss Rail Passes. We always stay in Spiez on the Lake of Thun. Great value and extremely convenient. I'd love to see more BLS train around Thun, my favourite Swiss town. Please keep posting thee amazing videos. Cheers from Brisbane, Australia.
Thanks! I grew up on the gold coast myself.
I have quite a few videos between Frutigen and Thun - see my trainspotting playlist. Thanks for your comment.
@@lorirocks777 I often wonder, how do you manage to mount your camera in the cab. Do you know a train driver?. Bill
We're flying to Sydney on Thursday for a historic train trip to the Riverina. I'd love to mount my camera on the front screen.
@@billbohlen9700 I'm a driver myself. I guess you could ask though? I don't know how strict things are in Australia?
@@lorirocks777 Well, that answers that. Cheers, Bill.
Watched 20 mins so far, its addiction sbb movements at olten, been here many times when visiting Switzerland on holiday best location for intense passenger, freight diagrams like it👍👍🇨🇭
Thanks!
🙋♂️👍👍👍

Many thanks
So cool to watch all these crazy trains. -H
Glad you liked it
Cool video ! If they had still made a video shooting from the drone, then it would have been great !
schönes Video!
Was war das in Brugg? Die Hand Gottes? 😁
Very good. The S -bahn set with the SZU coach and other non standard paint. How long did it run like that? The passenger train with the panoramic coach. Zurich to ?? (seen Olten and Killawagen). It was a busy day for aviation fuel, both full and return empties and cement tankers various.. Slightly less graffiti then now, even sliding wall and reefers with no graffiti.
Some thing for the future? There are a number of narrow gauge railways in the lower lands of Switzerland which we only get to see in passing on the main lines. How about some cab rides to fill in the complete picture of Switzerland's railways?
1 or 2 years.
Zürich to Locarno.
I'd love to get cab rides on every train in Switzerland. Let's see how that goes.
I have to make a correction. The trains with the panorama coaches in Olten were running from Basel to Locarno via Luzern. The one in Killwangen was running between Zürich and Basel. The were however mainly used on the Gotthard.
Wow!
🤩🤩🤩
12 hours ?
I was trainspotting for 12 hours, from 9am until 9pm
@@lorirocks777 ok 😂
27:02 😂😂😂
And again at 1:33:27
@@lorirocks777 nein, der erste mit einem logo swiss express und der zweite mit einer schweizer flagge ...
