Well Done Derek well deserved for all the effort you have put in to perfecting the method, and your unselfish attitude towards helping other anglers learn the principles of catching more fish. I am proud of you.
brilliant mate fish mainly bread myself on small drains and rivers , you are certainly the master and with your videos i am getting more bites and catching on hard days . thanks for the help
I am glad to hear you are catching well, I am happy to help anyone who asks, unfortunately its not doing me much good recently, it isnt working very well on the Steeping at the moment--I have not had a bite in the last two matches, cant remember the last time i went 10 hrs without a bite.
Thanks for another inspiring video. After watching your videos I've been doing quite a bit of punch fishing. I've even bought a whip. Loving it. Cheers. Mark.
Thank you, It pleases me that i can help folks catch more fish, thats the prupose of my videos--i am not trying to promote anything or seeking attention at all.
Thank you, no one would want to claim resonsibilty for my tackle, my fishing mates have oftens said that if anyone nicked my tackle they woud find it in the nearest skip..
Yes I`m still fishing- but harldy ever go pleasure fishing--I`m concentrating on matches--plus the fact the video editing programme i used to use closed down and I cant get any others to wrok.
I take my grandson fishing with whips as it as cheap as anything there’s no reel to worry about lines getting tangled up on and it’s easy for him to plumb up and putting bait on with true old drennan flake punches I have is easy as anything and he’s never had a blank day because we find waters were people feed ducks with bread
Could I please ask which drain is this? Have you ever fished the Main Drain at Anderby Creek? I had a fantastic catch of roach there in 2011,in the summer,on wheat feeding hemp. Really like your videos. Makes me want to go out and fish in the winter again, after being away from angling for 6 years with serious illness. Great stuff, thanks
It is a coastal Drain a bit further up the coast from Anderby, the friend who told me about it asked me not to reveal it online, as there are very few places that you can actually fish from (The banks arent good) -The only thing I will say is to go on Google maps find the coastal drians --and zoom in on satelite--and you should find it---I did try Anderby creek a few years ago but never had a bite--so have not been since
@@derekskinner i noticed you were unhooking them quickly. At the weekend I bought some ground white crumb, rather than making liquidised bread .... it went like concrete. I guess this doesnt happen with liquidised bread?

@@derekskinner Thanks, I'll Google it. I do know a few of the drains along the coast. Had a caravan at Anderby Creek for 8 years. Many thanks
excellent video top days fishing ,
do you mix your crumb sloppy?
I just make it stiff enough to throw, and form a cloud in the water, on the venues that I fish I dont want it to reach the bottom in a lump.
what hooks do you use derek
Kamasan B611 barbless, I was using a 16 here but for normal harder venues I use a 20

@@paulnixon2921 It is a lot less likely with liquidised, -I have never even tried to use white crumb for that reason.
Derek Skinner thanks
