Lovely! It's a bit limited round my way, we've got the canal, and the odd lake I know of. I'm always looking for more places. Might try the thames again soon, but it's a bit hit and miss in the winter so I'm lead to believe...
My daughter got me the quills from the place she used to stable her horse--they had peaocks. but they dont have them anymore--so dont know where I`ll get my next lot from. I have never used anything else other than fresh bread straight from the packet, ( with the emphasis here on FRESH-make sure its got 5 or 6 days on the use by date) I did experiment with it at home but found that micro and rolled stuck in my punches and once bread has stuck in a punch it reders it useless for the rest of the day, no matter how you try to dry it out.
It wasnt possible because the camera battery went flat an hour before the end of the session, as I explained on the video,if you look at some of my other videos there are pics of the fish at end of the sesssion---plus there wont be any more videos-as the camera has packed up.
Thank you very much for your interest---but The camera was given to me as a present-for me to use on my racing bikes, and it didnt work for much of time, and with the bikes I have enough other things to think about without a camera playing up, so I have dumped it. Racing is expensive enough and the money is better spent on parts to keep the bikes running ---I only used it for fishing as a sideline, in the winter. getting another is not high on my list of priorities.
Looks like a nice spot! I love bread fishing. Probably my favourite :D
There are a few more places like that in the area-I am going to try some of them over the winter--I never use anything else between October and March

Hi Derek, another great video. Can you tell me where you get your peacock quills from and also do you microwave the bread you use on the hook? Thanks.
