I prefer Baritenors because of their wide range both lower and upper register .it's normal for a baritenor to work towards 3 octaves than a complete Tenor . a complete tenor might just have 2½ octaves or extending abit but difficult to have 3 Octaves looking for instance singers like Andrea bocelli, Jonas Kaufmann etc have 3 octaves that is from C2 to C5 but the great pavarotti never had that he didn't have the C2 range
