Another great performance.. Love you playing styx..would love you to play john Waite song..missing you..all of you can sing so well..good for y'all.. Being so young and talented.. Keep up the good job..great camera work dad.
So appreciate your letting us in on your practices. Reminds me of the time many MANY years ago when I was part of a ‘garage band’. Keep on rockin’ youngins. Building memories to look back in the years to come.
Just my 2 cents but you guys sound so much better as a four piece, vocals are definitely much stronger. Music of course has always been on point, I see so much potential here, all four of you are very gifted and look forward to seeing what the future brings. God bless you and Merry Christmas !!!
Yes, Alex is developing a very respectable singing voice. However, he is much the same as I was back in my playing days - a good guitarist who can sing fairly well. However, this is in contrast to being a gifted “singer” who happens to also play guitar. For example, think of young Justin Bieber, or young Justin Timberlake. Know what I mean? Gifted singers who never suffered pitchiness or lack of vocal control. They had very true voices and amazing ranges. Think of when Adam Lambert first came to people’s attention. He blew everyone away with incredible vocal abilities. No sliding up to notes. No pitch fluctuations. No crackling and going flat on high notes. No going sharp on the low notes. All great bands had GREAT frontmen and awesome singers. Think Deep Purple when Glenn Hughes assumed bass guitar duties and lead vocals. . .KILLA! Nevertheless, I’m really hopeful and excited to see how Alex and Luca’s voices progress over the next 6 to 12 months. It would behoove all the kids to start some serious vocal training with Ken Tamplin or someone of his ilk. I honestly think this help take them to the next level again. Joe Bonamassa comes to mind - a hugely gifted guitarist, but his voice wasn’t on par with his fretboard talents. What did Joe do? He zeroed in on developing his vocal chops and trained with a primo vocal coach. Now when you listen to Bonamassa, his vocals are scary good.:) The (hidden) amazing vocal potential in the band is actually Luca. If Luca gains confidence *and gets a handle on the few ‘pitchy’ issues he exhibits in spots, he’ll be a monster vocalist, I think. Luca has great chest voice range. He has a huge, mature-beyond-his-years vocal tone and a natural charisma (while still being very down-to-earth). Luca’s round, full-bodied tone and Alex’s thinner voice work really well together when they sing harmonies. Don’t get me wrong - I honestly consider Alex to be a good singer. As a matter of fact, the band sounds much, much better now that Tim is no longer the lead singer. A band can get away with lots of faux pas when the members are all young teens or pre teen, but once you cross the threshold to sr high school age, “ya either got it, or ya don’t.” A band is only as good as its weakest link. If one of the members is unequally matched, that link either needs to rise to the challenge, or risk replacement. As a matter of fact, I’d stopped watching LTKA videos because as the kids were getting older, the band wasn’t really improving. The poor quality vocals were an absolute deal-breaker for me. Everything about the band came across as flat, awkward and not terribly cohesive. Some elements were great, and some components were not good at all. A good band functions as an ALL-PARTS-EQUAL BAND! I have no interest in a mini guitar hero shining amidst mediocrity. Good guitarists are a dime-a-dozen nowadays. Alex is not the only talented 16 year old guitarist, as good as he is. I was really good too when I was his age. I played in a full-fledged adult band when I was 17. Not braggin’, jus’ sayin’. My point is, I’m really digging how the whole band is improving now. Everything is starting to gel and become more polished and legit. The band members are at an age now where just being cute youngsters who surprise folks by playing classic rock tunes is not good enough anymore. Now it’s time to be real musicians and each one be a mini rock star in his/her own right. If your vocals are pitchy, get better or stop punishing peoples’ ears with yer sour notes. If you fumble around stiffly on the keyboard when trying to play blues riffs and rock n’ roll piano solos, then learn how to do it properly, and practice until you can rip like Reese Wynans, Billy Powell, or Dr John. I’m rootin’ for this nifty band of young ragamuffins; I can’t wait to see what they come out with next. :)
You all are very talented and I'm always watching to see what new tunes y'all have put into your sets. I'm generation X and grew up with all of those classic songs. Id like to hear Addie sing some more songs. She has a naturally great voice...
What immense musical talent God has blessed you all with! I'm 62 years old from Saskatchewan and enjoy listening to and watching your performances here on UA-cam! Merry Christmas to each one of you and may 2024 bring you many blessings 🎄🎶❤️
Love how you have sat down and chosen just the right songs for each of the members, although would love to hear more Addisyn. The vocals, harmonies, and playing are TIGHT. I can't imagine these videos are not going to make it into the inbox of these legends. I see big things in your futures. Keep the great music flowing, you have an entire generation LOVING IT
Amazingly this wonderful band has gone to a whole other level vocally! Instrumentally awesome but the vocals have really enhanced how really good that they are! Makes this old rock drummer proud to see some young folk that can still rock! Merry CHRISTmas and Happy New year☝️✝️👑🙏👍🥁✌️🙂

Merry Christmas to you all and know that we appreciate you sharing your talents!🎅🏼🎄 ua-cam.com/video/Hxwk3x12ORk/v-deo.htmlsi=VtCHEJRzobDFtnyV

Vocals are so much better now. 😊
Much love to you guys! I’m 66 years old. Your passion is something that I have never felt because opportunity never existed.
They're exceptional & leave 60's garage bands in the dust.

Leave Those Kids Alone is a top notch youth band keeping classic rock music alive and well note for note.
From one old drummer to the young lady, you are fantastic.
I totally agree, as just the audience.
Really enjoy these rehearsals- you are all so good! Glory Days is a good addition, and Come Sail Away is always a favorite. Addi, you're terrific!
I can't get over how quickly Alex has improved with his lead vocals. He really is a one in a million muscian who will go very far in the industry.

Can you play some CCR
Just wrapping Christmas presents, smiling and singing right along with you 😁❤ - Merry Christmas - always love watching and listening to you all.
All great songs, but I’m shining on Glory Days…and Ozzy…Cheap Trick…Metallica…
I’ve been listening for a couple of years. I haven’t heard a song I don’t like!
Question. What is the device Adie adjusts between songs? Perhaps a metronome for a click track?? Merry Christmas
Exactly that. A quick tempo set for each song. Ensures consistency. :)
Another piece of professionalism

Great job everyone. Love the new tunes. Love that you're playing stuff from the 90's! Great job Luca on Enter Sandman and Louis on Glory Days. Nice to hear Oasis and Ozzy as well. Very talented group! Merry Christmas from Edmonton.
The first song....is that an original or a cover?
That is a cover of 'Don't Look Back in Anger' by Oasis.

Really like Louis and Luca getting some "mic" time. Alex is in a league of his own, but finding songs to compliment those guys is fantastic.
Is that the same bass player that has been playing from the start
@@davideirth3688 Certainly the same since 2021! He (Luca) came onboard along with Louis.
