- I am delighted to start a fresh season of Scribes & Songsters - our 6th - with guests who are no stranger to this show. In fact, it was just a year ago when we introduced them to you. But since then, they have managed to produce an album of their own songs, release a music video, tour locally and in the United States and attract followers from around the world. And they are garnering accolades - not the least of which is a fan choice award for CBC Music’s Searchlight competition.
All the band members are exceptionally talented. The guitar player (Alex) is a prodigy on guitar. I'm amazed how cleanly this kid pulls off note for note all those incredible guitar solos on the cover songs.

LTKA is an outstanding group of young people.....their talents in performing, their ability to cover songs, their composing skills are beyond comparison. But learning about them personally shows me how great they are as human beings. Gotta be some proud parents backing them up!

I love their original song "Where She Was"! Great melody and strong vocals. Their cover songs are so we'll done that they reproduce the original music by the original artists incredibly! Looking forward to hearing "Stratosphere".

This video got recommended because I watched the video of them performing in their driveway two years ago. Comments were disabled so at least now I can say that Alex is very good on guitar and also has a really good voice. He also looks a little like Frankie Muniz from Malcolm In The Middle. lol

LTKA are Born To Play! I have a name for when the lady one turns 18 - Bandango ! Or Born To Play, either one. Alex is clearly a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, so the group could be called Bonadonna. Not niw, 5 years from now.... or LaLaT

Great Band🤝👍…Classically Trained some of them…The best of Equipment the best of Speakers The Best of Guitars🫠…I know guys struggling since before Covid happened..That have done Tours with Big Artists backing them up as session musicians..and now they are F##ked..I’m delighted that These young kids are doing so well and Happy they are Inspiring to everyone💪💪So Bless you all..Fact IS…Rock n Roll has changed!! I recently saw your concert here on UA-cam, I've struggled to learn guitar for 50 years now, and have barely become passable as a player and singer. To have reached the level that you guys have at such a young age is truly a rare event.
The vocals, the harmonies, the mastery of your instruments are at a level that other musicians (like me) often never achieve in their lifetime. Congratulations on your accomplishments and I wish you a promising future.

I am 62 years old and I am so blessed to see such a great young band within my lifetime. I just saw earlier today this band in front of what it appears to be there house. I saw that drummer who appears to be about 10 years old? Incredible are you f...g kidding me? As i went on I found that you have since found a manager. I would have done it myself if I could have afforded it. God bless you all 5.I wish you the very best in your future. Stay in school, but continue your musical talents. Very, very cool!!!

I was literally blown away after discovering these talented young people. As a former musician as a lead guitarist and a band member it takes a lot of time and commitment to get good enough to entertain the public and be good enough to move forward. So, hat's off to you and best of luck always.

i just saw the concert video, you kids are amazing. you DEFINITELY have a future in music!!! The band sounds extremely tight and on point, vocals are right on and effortless., Excellent musicians, WAY TO GO, GUYS.

I've never heard any other bands cover the songs you guys do. And you do a great job with all the songs you do. I just happen to see you guys doing a cover of Peter Frampton and it blew me away, I've never heard a cover of that song before, and you do it so well, and you are so young. I'm so happy to see a group of nice young people who are interested in playing the songs that define my life. I remember being 13 years old and my older brother brings home Peter Frampton's Live double album. We played that album until it was worn out. Of course Van Halen hit the scene in 1978, and that VH album was not like anything any of us had heard before. I heard Eruption played loudly on a great audio system and I was stunned. I kept thinking "what kind of human being can make sounds like that?" Eddie Van Halen, that's who! I loved Ed, he was a great person besides being a great player.
I have to give extra special recognition to your drummer, she is fantastic. Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters is my favorite drummer. Dave is a regular guy who just happens to be a mega rock star. Your playing reminds me of the way Dave plays. I hope that you will never stop playing those drums. You have special talent that must not go to waste. Hey, Foo Fighters is looking for a drummer after Taylors unfortunate passing, maybe you could try out and see what happens. Are you really only 12? I have a grand daughter your age. Maybe you could fill in for the Foo Fighters on summer breaks? Dave would probably like that idea too. You could do it, I;m sure of it!
You guys are awesome! Keep it up so that my friends and I can go buy your music and make you rich and famous rock stars. You are a special band, enjoy the ride, be humble, say thank you and yes mam, and remember, no matter what, always be nice and respectful of others, even when they don't deserve it.
