I saw Tony at Golds gym and he was doing these back and forth crawling on the staircase. Great shoulder and chest workout. I copy that workout to this day and still do AB ripper. “I hate it....but i love it”. Glad he’s better
i think thats what most people could look like at 60 if they ate a healthy diet and work out 5-6 times a week. most people look older than they are because of bad health decisions, like smoking, drinking, bad diet, sedentary.
This does not surprise me because 60 is not old. It's just that people don't take of themselves... don't workout or eat right and end up aging prematurely.
He definitely takes care of himself, which goes a long way, buuuuut I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s gotten some Botox injections. That, combined with makeup for the interview. Your face still ages, no amount of working out or clean eating changes that. His face almost looks younger there than in his videos.
Glad Tony is feeling better. He's inspired me to get and stay in the best shape of my life which is important since I'm only a couple of years away from 60. Thanks, Tony, and hope to see you at 100% soon!
Tony Horton is Beachbody. He is the best trainer, period! His brilliance is unsurpassed. He could have given up, but he kept fighting. I'm glad he did, because he's the reason I keep going. Love you Tony. Be blessed.
Tony Horton is one of my hero's. I love all of his P90X 1,2,3 work out videos. He's the guy I would love to meet in person. Since he's been doing P90X I've always want to workout with him some day.
Tony, you are my INSPIRATION to workout again after my health issues took over my life for far too many years. I had done P90x in 2011 - lost 12 lbs and 12 inches in 90 days and developed a nice set of abs which I never had before ever, even through my time in the military. My health problems still impact me now but I am modifying and doing P90x again - on week 2 now. It is not easy but it is so worth it. This program is incredible - even if it is from almost a decade ago. I am so incredibly inspired by Tony Horton as I didn't realize his actual age until recently - and my mind cannot fathom it! The only way I can live a similar way - being healthy as I age - is by working out now and basically forever. If anyone is thinking of doing his program, DO IT! Don't give up. Modify, shorten workouts as needed - just don't quit!
What a guy!! Most of us would not have come back from an illness like that. Wishing him nothing but the best of health. And looking forward to more awesome workout from Tony.
Wow, I had no idea. Like so many others, Tony had a huge impact on my life also. The best thing I ever did was order P90X way back when. I watched that commercial sooo many times and just couldn't bear spending that money (tough times). After diving in I have since bought every thing Tony has ever done probably and don't regret any of it. It literally saved my life, forever in your debt. Cheers Mate!
My uncle had shingles at the age of 57. He was lawyer, father of 3(one in college, one in HS, one in middle school) a beautiful and successful wife. The shingles were also in his ear. It broke through the brain barrier and caused a massive hemorrhagic stroke. He survived but will never be the same. Get your shingles vaccine people!!
I really love Mr Tony has helped me get my body back in shape years ago I'm so glad that he's doing so much better stay encouraged Mr. TONY we support you 100%
P90X was the first Beachbody program I started and finished. I loved it and Tony so much my husband and I did it 9 times in a row. #bestshapeofourlives Thank you Tony. For all you do and continue to do to help so many stay fit and healthy. I followed your story and struggles through out this illness and I'm so thankful you feel so much better now. 60 is the new 30! You are living proof!!
Did P90X when I was in highschool. Spent many hours cursing this man's name 😂. More then 10 years later I still base many if my workout through what I have learned. I have the entire AB Ripper X memorized. Only hope for the best for this man
Shingles is no joke! My 97 yo Dad is recovering from Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome caused by Shingles. After hearing Tony's story, I'm surprised my Dad is still with us. He's still having nerve pain but, hopefully, will make a full recovery. Thanks for sharing your story Tony.
P90x is incredibly effective. I did it for a year (3 rounds), got in great shape at 53 (better than in my 20s) and then none for two years. Still in great shape. Starting it again at 56 to freshen up and maintain. Never lost my P90x base. Looked at his new product "High impact plant protein" ... Cant imagine ever paying $140 a month for two jars (15 days per jar) of this stuff. Pity it's so expensive - would help us oldies. Seems Tony has mostly recovered ... might see him up skiing one day.
This is the guy that got me into fitness as a lifestyle as a teen. Now I go to the gym or run 4 times a week at minimum. P90x really gave me a foundation for how my workouts should be. That has worked for me for years.
I've been a P90x fan since it first came out - is that over 10 years?! My past regimen was to do P90x one day and then run the next with one day off a week. I ran 2 marathons a year. During intense training for the Boston Marathon I came down with shingles. OMG it hurts and in my case the intense pain was about 2 weeks and ongoing mid level pain for about 9 months. The doctors suggested the stress of marathon training lowered my immune system and made me vulnerable. At this point I no longer want to stress my body with marathoning but P90x is still a valued part of my program. The only P90x video that I avoid is the Jump Training/Plyometrics. That led to a herniated disk that required surgery. The surgeon said that at my age (I was in the mid 40's at the time), I shouldn't be stressing my spine in that way. The rest of the disks are great but I avoid Plymoetrics.
He’s often strange but his ways of motivating can not be questioned. I’m a P90X and P90X3 veteran who still does P90X3 on a regular basis. Glad Tony’s better!
I don't believe in age, I don't believe in aging. I love this guy. He's so positive and I'm glad he's doing much better. Need to boot up them old P90x DVDs.
Here's how I almost lost it all: *Getting married* Anyway, if Tony's body wouldnt have been strong he likely wouldn't of survived his illness. I started P90X in 2011 around the time my divorce started. In a year I lost 40 pounds and had muscle and abs. I've slipped a couple years ago, but I've been back training for two months. Thanks Tony.
This guy had a huge positive impact on my life. glad he is doing better
I could say the same
^

That's so true. Buying p90x and p90x3 changed my life. Sure, the workouts are old now but why change something that works so well.
"Do your best, forget your rest!" Heard his motto almost 13yrs ago and still use it today! Keep going Tony and wish him the best!!
I say that to my kids! 🤣 His legacy lives on...
"the mother of all workouts"
Lol I've long since moved on from P90X but that phrase is always with me during workouts.
its Do your best and forget THE rest
That's my mental prep talk for every time the stakes are high at my job!
The only internet salesman in the world to sell an honest product. What a legend.

"Aging is for people that don't know better."
My guy
P90X got me through Covid 19 lockdown in style. It was pretty much the only thing on my to do list everyday. So glad my friend reminded me about it
He's 60?????
i think thats what most people could look like at 60 if they ate a healthy diet and work out 5-6 times a week. most people look older than they are because of bad health decisions, like smoking, drinking, bad diet, sedentary.
I know! He looks amazing.
This does not surprise me because 60 is not old. It's just that people don't take of themselves... don't workout or eat right and end up aging prematurely.
He and Hugh Jackman are my Heroes.🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

You still look 30 Tony! Glad you're doing better. Your program is still one of the best.
Glad Tony is feeling better. He's inspired me to get and stay in the best shape of my life which is important since I'm only a couple of years away from 60. Thanks, Tony, and hope to see you at 100% soon!

Glad to see he's well again. Tony's a national treasure and had a very positive impact on my life.
"Just show up." - Tony Horton
We all love you and thank you for helping us help ourselves.
So glad he's doing better and look forward to hearing positive updates. I did p90x for years and now p90x3 is still my regular workout.

He changed my life and taught me so much!! Love that man and wish him the best!! He deserves it!
"If you need a break just pause and when you're ready we'll be right here" looks like Tony took his own advice
Dude is 61 and looks 31. He is a huge inspiration.
I'm so happy to hear he's feeling a lot better.
Tony Horton is one of my hero's. I love all of his P90X 1,2,3 work out videos. He's the guy I would love to meet in person. Since he's been doing P90X I've always want to workout with him some day.
Love this guy, he helped me and simple buddies get into our journey of health and fitness. So glad he’s making a recovery. Pure inspiration
