Just FYI, some interesting facts about DayZ - per Bohemia, there are no zombies in DayZ. They are infected people. Bohemia went on to explain the infected are able to die from bleeding out, because they are not zombies. The Z in DayZ stands for Zero as in, Day Zero.

Imagine how good scum would be if the devs quit fannying around and allowed modding support, they could rush out 1.0 and the modding community would do the rest. Up until last year I had never played DayZ and was pretty blown away by the mods, been playing Scum since it came out out and I think most players are waiting for that yes or no decision on modding support, if that don’t happen scum will die. Scum vs DayZ vanilla Scum wins hands down but DayZ modded vs Scum, DayZ win hands down.

HumanitZ is simillar to Zomboid and they recently added more stuff and its super fun with friends. Sometimes you have to drive with combi wagons seperate to load alot of things needed for the base and you kinda want to drive there or other places alot of times!
I played a LOT of Deadside in the early pandemic. I haven't played in over a year and last time I checked the game had fallen off hard. It's a shame, it was my favorite survival pvp game. You could get a gun super quickly after spawning and just get straight to fighting other players. It was a much faster experience than DayZ and since I have a lot of real life responsibilities, I enjoyed that.
@@Bohani Survival, city builder, rpg, play as a solo nomad, or build a city. Woukd suggest the mod that brings your minion count to, 256. And a few other quality of life mods. It has a little jank to it, but just like tge long dark, I keep going back and playing it. My current settlement has over 600hrs of playthrough invested in it, and I still haven't fully explored the continent. I'm allied with the Shek, and I'm trying to defeat the Holy Nation. Good luck if you try it out!
I used to play loads of Miscreated back in the day. I hear the Devs dropped it and it's kind of dead now. But yeah. I had so much fun. One of the best level design in any zombie game. Loved it.

I agree! If only they would open it up for modding. Or even just with a few more server customisation options. That would bring a lot more peeps over, I think.
All these are good and great in their own way but for me the best zombie survival game is hands down state of decay 2. Zomboid is still factually the best for me though nothing can touch that.
Can i also recommend mist survival and surroundead. The later i am not gonna lie gave me a terrible first impression but if you give it a chance, its amazing

I think I’ve tried it, maybe for like 1 hour. I personally don’t like multiplayer online games. I play to “escape reality/people” of the real world, no desire to bump into people in a virtual world. But I’m now totally hooked on 7 Days to Die on console.

I've played almost every one of these games, and I always go back to Zomboid. I never played The Isle, Deadside, or Once Human. I downloaded Once Human, but when I launched the game it just CTD, and I said fuck it. It's too much trouble, I'll just play Zomboid lmao
I tried scum. I didn't like it because i didn't understand the game. Never found another player or anything I probably just didn't give it enough time but to me it felt like playing something early access so i just went back to dayz. I put 700hrs into it. Great with new players now that they gave out a dlc for free that alot including me paid for...
Oh don't get me started on the DayZ dlc. Haha. We got a soundtrack for what we paid for. That's what I always wanted DayZ. Scum is good but the map is huge. And you'll run into players in hotspots, like military bases if the servers are packed. They would give a way better experience if the map was 1/4 In my opinion. That way you'd get player interactions every time you spawned in.

Hahah The isle is super fun especially if you find a server where crossbreed teaming is not allowed. I have yet to find one tho, mostly played what was popular. But it really brings down survival to the basics. It's fun! 😁
played scum for a good long while, the game it self is like fortnight on meth. completely broken pvp where you run 100 miles an hour jumping around non stop gunfights are beyond non realistic. needs A LOT OF WORK. if they fix the player movement speed and jumping around 20 feet at a time each time it would be a 10/10.
Forget about the graphics, it's one of the best zombie game, when it comes to how much content it has. There's more mechanics to zomboid than any other zombie games out there.

Idk I have like 150 days on Xbox DayZ. I tried PC but it wasn't fun because everyone was so much more sweaty and try hard.
