Nothing admirable about someone with a horrible attitude even if they are good at something . I think a large percentage of the community admires how well you handled this Lescath . I also think that many community members who have been crapped on and banned in A1's chat for holding a different opinion are also happy to see him get set straight .

I don't think he's getting all the backlash because of what he did with you guys... He's getting it because he consistently does it, apologizes and goes on to do it over and over again. He just doesn't like to lose. You'll realize that.

I was wondering when this video he made came up and why he was apologizing. But Al because you guys really know how to fly a Scorpius. All the key mapping and only shooting with the turret made him think he was fighting and alien. Congrats on stumping AvengerOne so bad.
I had seen him and 5 arrows just surround a cutter, count down and all blast him and then say, well, there goes a new player that will quit.
So congrats on you guys making him feel so crappy with talented flying and gunning.

I've enjoyed Avenger_One's vids ever since he started posting *instructional* vids to UA-cam about SC. I skipped over Eve and ED, my last serious space flight game was probably Starlancer. And there hadn't really been any that appealed to me since. I'm much more into just flying around and exploring the 'verse, and not much into PvP for the moment, but it's good to stay informed and know what the full range of the game is. And I am very happy that you made your videos, and to have watched his video. And the fact that, with how two both handled yourself, and this is one of the biggest bits of *DRAMA!* that's come across my UA-cam feed in *years* is why I love the SC community. I appreciate your contributions and am glad to have you here making it better. Good luck in the 'verse!

He never apologized. Not in his comment, not in his video. He laughed half the time in his video. What did you learn? He said there were "lessons learned on both sides"... All he did was say he was wrong. That's not an apology. That's not an apology for slandering you all over the SC community, or for reporting you to CIG for doing something you did not do.

@@samuel.d9059 his acceptence of the mistake is an apology, One does not have to say the words "I am sorry (insert name)" to convey the meaning of sorry. Owning up to his mistake in front of his audience is how he felt comfortable. I think that is better than getting a private message of "sorry" and thats it. Using this as a learning experience I feel is much more valuable becuase it shows that anyone no matter how big or small you are can make a mistake, and that owning up to it is the right thing to do.

Furthermore if someone robs a bank, or murders someone or anything else negative and says I made a mistake... THATS NOT AN APOLOGY. Its an acknowledgement, its an admission, but no remorse is shown.
In-fact the only time he says the word mistake is to say "there will be other people who make mistakes" which in a round about way implies HE himself made one while simultaneously deflecting the energy to "others" or people in general in an attempt for sympathy. SMH Classic narcissism!

    • @joppa560
      @joppa560 Рік тому +1

@@juggz143 "boy oh boy was I the fool on this one boys" this is an admission that he made a mistake. as you said I think you agree it acknowledgment "as much as your emotions- atleast mine, my emotions and how I felt about something was so strong, it doesn't necessarily change the fact that... it might not necessarily be what youre looking at." this is also an acknowledgement of a mistake based on an emotional basis the entire thing put together is the apology, you don't have to flat out say "i'm sorry" to be sorry, saying sorry dosnt fix an issue the effort in full on making a video, taking the time to talk about his mistake and saying he was wrong really is the only thing you can really do in terms of this situation.
you don't have to flat out say youre sorry to make an apology, you don't have to cry or give something away to make an apology. obviously Leschath sees it as an apology so why does your opinion matter. you wernt the one effected here and I bet even if he did say sorry, people who are hating would be like "well uhh, he didnt say sorry in the right tone or pitch he wasnt actually sorry."
furthermore. A1 isnt robbing a bank, he didnt murder someone I don't know what level of remorse you want for a emotionally charged mistake over a videogame... it isnt like hypothetically if A1 still thought the fight was of a hacker. if this video wasnt made at all... then... what would happen... nothing really nothing of any real importance the people who know A1 and like A1 would still know that A1 might have made a mistake and the haters would still hate A1 for whatever reason they do, be it that they see A1 as this devil of a human being or some asshole whatever they feel... nothing would change, the only thing people, much like yourself are bitching about is that A1 didnt sell the apology which I'm willing to bet, if A1 made a typical apology video there would STILL be bitching because then it would be "OH A1 is just saving face, he was called out now he's backing down and doing damage control. " you as in people who are upset with A1 about this reply, which was accepted as an apology, and the adults in the situation have both agreed that this is a sufficient apology for what happened and I think the people who are just angry at A1 would never be happy because someone didnt ostracize your devil for making a mistake against them and that makes you mad that someone can see something for what it is and not have to draw and quarter someone to be happy.
like I don't think he was deflecting at all I think he was just making a comparison and telling a fact that, yea, later down the line someone is going to make another mistake, I dont think that was looking for sympathy.
I've spoken to A1 personally I wouldn't say I'm close with him by any margin but I've met the guy and I wouldn't call him narcissistic actually every time i've spoken to him he was pretty much nothing but being supportive and positive to the guys around him and also giving tips to people. would I call him prideful, Yea 100% I think he has a big ego and has pride in his skills I think everyone who is competitive and plays competitively and is good at the game will have an ego and be prideful but that isnt inherently a bad thing.
really i'm willing to bet, the people who hate A1, and I think it was said in this video or some other video (I didnt rewatch the whole thing) but the people who hate him dont know him theyre seeing maybe a few hours or like 20 minutes of something he did, and the things that are put on speaker phone for everyone is when he does something wrong but that's every content creator who has done anything wrong, so I mean. hey. if youre going to call him names, dub him or something for something he's not that's up to you.
but If you've read all of this without getting mad or just quitting half way through due to an opposing opinion I want to ask and I want to talk about WHY do you hate him. what compelled you to comment what you did. I want you to actually think about it, ask yourself why and what has he done and what does that matter. I would be happy to discuss if youre willing to, I don't know about you but I enjoy listening to the opposing side, but I want to know actual reasons... even if it's simply "I just don't like the guy, his personality isnt for me and it rubs me the wrong way." like that's valid but to make a comment such as yours it has to be something more than "just don't like the guy."

AltONEf4 hides behind the "CTA Squad" and claims every victory. He jumps out, runs away, or exits to menu, and it's still a win in his book. A really good pilot is just too sh!tty of a person to look over and one day people will see it. The people that have been around long enough know everything he says has little weight to it, and once he gets wind of it, he'll spit out another video trying to play the victim.

No doubt your bro is a great pilot. And I think flying decoupled helps. I mean I am an absolute terrible PvP pilot, but I find that because I dog fight in decoupled mode I can hold my own in a fight a lot longer. I think so many "good "pilots either don't fight in decoupled mode, or they can't wrap their head around fighting someone who is in decoupled mode. It's like they can't understand why your ship is moving that way because they don't see it often enough. I mean I'm still a terrible pilot, but someone like your bro a great pilot using decoupled mode would absolutely baffle most pilots.
