This was the very first Rise Against song I've ever listened to. Except I heard it on the radio (about 5 years ago) and I didn't know what the song was called or the band. I went home and forgot about it. Then in a dream the song came back to me. The next day I went to google and typed in the lyrics which I thought I heard (most of them incorrect) and for about an hour of searching, I found this song again. Behind Closed Doors remains my favorite song, and Rise Against my favorite band

You just can't argue with the pure, hardcore epicness of this song. XD I love it so, so very much. Everything is absolutely flawless, Lyrics, vocals, guitar, drum, bass, energy....overall arrangement. Just pure perfection. It's one of those songs that grabs you, holds you, doesn't let go, and when it does, you only come back. Most don't get how hard and how much time it takes to create a song like this. Just an overall, completely kickass song and probably one of the best Rise has ever done.

Hell, even Luxembourg has a reasonable army. The US have managed to push Britain out of the USA, but at great cost to their own. They also slaughtered each other for years in the Civil War, most notably at Gettysburg. They only came into WWI at the very end, and aided WWII in Europe with far less troops than either France or Britain brought

@Joypadjunkginger It is our thoughts that define us. If you want to do good the thought is the first thing that starts the motions. If you knew anything about atomics, all human beings have a field that recieves and releases energy. You think about positive things, you release positive energy which does help yourself feel better. Doing something is always better it isn't religion that stops people from doing whats right its money.
@UltimateSephiroth060 Umm, it's the truth? by praying you do nothing but make yourself feel like you did something, when in fact you didn't, lowering your desire to actually do something practical. Therefore praying is possibly one of the more selfish acts a human being can commit, not up there with murder or theft, but definately up with "took the last piece of pizza" and "talks in the theatre"
@belovedsins he seams to have deleted his comment so i'm not sure what he said, but you should be confident in the fact that praying is the equivalent of doing nothing, whilst convincing yourself you did something; lowering you're own desire to actually HELP PEOPLE. ever tried that? went out and fixed something that was wrong instead of wishing a wizard did it for you? just saying.

@RoPEK123xd LP have less instrumental/vocal/lyrical skills than Rise Against, but they sure as hell know how to write a good tune that you can't explain how you connect and think the notes and chords before they hit... kind of like Mozart. I personally prefer Rise Against, but I would frackin love if Rise Against wrote the lyrics and performed a song that LP wrote the sheet music for.

I use to play a SAMP server with 3 of my friends, and EVERONE else in the server would try to kill us, every fight we got in, it would be like 15 v 3 and we would always win, every fight this song would be BLASTING in the skype call, this song makes you feel like a Rhino on coke that can run as fast as a bullet train. No Jokes.
Kinda odd you didn't even hear the lyrics right and then claim this song to be your all time favorite. No hate, Rise Against is awesome, but their lyrics make their music what it is. Don't think i would I even bother listening if their lyrical talent wasn't there.

First off Napoleon was Italian, so i don't count that for France. I can't argue that great britian is still a great power. But Germany doesn't even have a military anymore, so nuts to them. But my main point was the US war track record is much better then any other country in Europe.

@lakeshow720: thank you much. =] I've been pretty good at writing since about third grade so it kinda just comes out naturally and yes this song is perfect. "The Good Left Undone" is a close second though....then again all of "Sufferer and the Witness" was amazing. XD
