    Great video again Lee wouldn't have known how to do that and would have had springs flying everywhere probably. Definitely a bit more work to these Trampa setups than I had imagined.

      @@cityproofdad I love what Kaly is doing, his boards are amazing. I think though that in the UK the Trampa board makes more sense. Scott's board is going to be a range monster for sure, I hope he is happy with it

    Nice video man. I put elastomer dampers in my ProDrive a few weeks back. Runs really nice, but I've put them in the outer positions, rather than inner... just gives a bit more support (for me).

      Choices choices mate! Turned out Scott didnt have the adjustment in his front truck anyways so he has outer!

    Hi Lee. If the hanger has only got one hole, but the base plate has 2, can you still move the spring to the inside position? Or do you also need 2 holes on the hanger to move it to the inside position?
    Cheers 🤙

    Hi Lee i would replace my spring by this too where i can find it ? I have actually a syl08v3 mbs and nothing fit in the spring to be able to go full speed

    Can that truck be put on the front if an evolve carbon gtr?

    • @mynamesalex12
      @mynamesalex12 4 роки тому +1

      No, spring trucks need a 35 degree angle or more on the nose and tail end. You could get risers to change the angle, but that would involve drilling new holes and they are typically plastic and weak.

  • @xSynatiiC
    @xSynatiiC 5 років тому +1

    The one thing i really dislike about the matrix 2 trucks is the baseplate. Mounting it sucks so hard with the older plastik baseplate because the nuts spin freely. Also the shock blocks. 1 screw only to secure it. I lost a shock block while riding, it just fell out. And there is only 3 options to choose from hardness wise.

    • @LeeWright
      @LeeWright  5 років тому +1

      My friend rides them and broke a plastic base plate on a ride. Sucks! I like the trampa trucks, even more with the elastomer dampers

      Hey with a Trampa do you use the regen braking and what settings or let Vesc set it up

    • @LeeWright
      @LeeWright  5 років тому +1

      @@michaelworrell7717 yes of course. You need to consider the size of your pack mostly but also that you will only push the max value if you are breaking hard going down a big hill. If you have a 10 x 30Q in parallel then the max you can push back continuous is -40A but that's only -20 per VESC. I use -35 per VESC as I want the sharp brakes. when looking at telemetry I see I rarely push that and even so it's for short periods and not continuous so I live with it. No problems so far over maybe 200 - 300 miles

    O trampa guru no trampa god I do hate to question your holiness but these wise words were spoken by the bearded wonder that is your god like self. The best position is inner for the front & outer for the rear. But in the last shot of the trucks they both looked as if they were in the outer positions not questioning your godly trampa powers its most likely my eyes (I am booked to speck savers on Monday). I am now blessed with the knowlage to sort it out my self

    • @LeeWright
      @LeeWright  5 років тому

      Haha good eyes my friend. That is because your base plates are drilled for both positions on the front truck but the hangar is only drilled for the outer position. Your rear truck has both positions on base plate and hangar but that one needs to be in the outside. We will test when you come over and if it's still too much of a turning radius we can go back to springs without dampers in the front
