    Beyond beautiful. I'd love to have one of these for a daily commute. I've been on motor free just me mobility for years now. Between biking and pushing it on a longboard, I've been looking at alt/travel for many years now. Your design floors all of the competition. I'd love to talk to you about a long range waterproof model. Your designs are top notch.
    I went to school for silversmithing, and I'm really thinking I should re-prioritize to aim for machining. Just having access to the knowledge and tools to make beautiful things like this... That's where I'd want my future to go.
    Beautiful work Jens.

    Hello Jens, your builds are impressive. I'm looking to build a Trampa Street Carver which could be upgraded to EMTB at anytime, but it seems to be impossible. I need to choose wether I want a EMTB or a Street Carver, the decks are different lengths, trucks have a different position an mounting. Do you have a solution for that?

    • @billschlesinger7835
      @billschlesinger7835 7 років тому +1

      Alan Chau I suggest just get the emtb. I had an electric skateboard- Metroboard which was built very well. Got a 12s6p mbs build which is a beast. Definitely heavier but 20-25 mile range easy. The bindings and pneumatics make a HUGE difference. Even with knobby 8 inch tires I fly. I've gone over 30 and can even go faster but no need. Carving is incredible with the bindings- like defying gravity!
      I don't miss pu wheels at all. Put some green slime in the tubes and you are worry free. Just in case I carry a small can of fix a flat to inflate and seal.

      Hey. With the upcoming 125mm Street Urethane Wheels from Trampa based on their Superstar Hub i have a solution for that, YES (-; Its also a gearbox but shrinked, you can use with the 125mm Wheels, or 7 and 8 Inch pneumatics... compatible on Street/Urban Carver Mini Trucks or the regular MTB Trucks... If you are more offroad, i would take the MTB as base, or if you say you want it slightly smaller and you are more onroad then take the URBAN as base...

    • @nowind1010

    • @nowind1010

      makes sense yes.whats your favourite esc to use jenso for 12s emtb because i was going to use the torqueboard esc coz it has the program card which love the idea of but everyone always goes for the vesc.i dont want the extra features coz i just want it to be simple.

    • @nowind1010

    Not trying to dampen your build as it's a great looking build, but i don't see a direct drive system on your board... dual or otherwise.
    Direct drive would mean the spindle is directly turning the wheels. Nothing in-between. No belt, pinion, sprocket or gear. The way the motors are sitting on your board, there' has to be something attached to the motor spindle and the wheel.
    Thanks for sharing though. If you did away with the belt and/or chain and went meshed gearing it's pretty cool. Which i take it you did.
    i have to wonder which can take the abuse of off road better. There's not a whole lot of give using meshed gearing i would think. The risk of broken teeth higher i would imagine.
    What style gears did you go with? If that indeed is the method that you are calling direct drive.
