Xehanort is a child of destiny that was needed for the Master of Master to forward his plan. Xehanort's future was 100% overwritten by the MoM for the MoM plan once he created the Book of Prophecies. After all the MoM saw the normal flow to the future and much later Keyblade War he saw he decided to speed up the timetable for.
However, I do believe that Xehanort wasn't the first nor the last to have the gift of heart that can reach others.... this is a gift I think all new hearts have but forget. Sora kept a piece of this and worked hard to make more connections. Xehanort bloodline on the other hand had a natural strong connection that only was intensified because of lineage. He easily could read people's hearts without a thought, it came super naturally to him. Sore meet Ventus when he was a baby basically and had similar feelings to each other. So Sora kept his connection to Ventus... And then because he chose to house Ventus later on he left himself more open to other connections. Sora been working on this gift slowly all his life. Every time he reaches out there has been a wall but Sora doesn't give up he kept fighting for others when he's weaker than his enemy or any obstacle in his path.
My Friends are my Power is very literal to him because he keeps forging connections to others.
Sora is still not a child of destiny like Xehanort. Sora is Son Goku refusing to give up, when others say he will never measure up to "REAL keyblade masters" that have generations that have hone their craft. Sora is more like a first keyblade wielder before there were techniques and rules and shortcuts that had to learn and forge ahead blindly into the unknown. The keyblade chose him after Riku because of his heart that's willing to move forward to matter the Obstacle. Sora is a genuine wild card that the MoM would hate, because how can a "nobody" with "no importance" defy fate.
I honestly think that the MoM counted on Sora to defy fate for his plan to work.
The way this comment is articulated is so beautiful
Wasnt riku suppose to be cod
so sora is like the luke skywalker of keyblade masters? I don't think Xehanort was a child of destiny, yes the player calls him that but luxu outright denies it in the end, no? the player says the child of destiny will be born from the isles of destiny. But Xehanort wasn't born there, just raised. I think the player and his allies tried to force this destiny on Xehanort without realizing it, resulting in the villain we get.
But you know who does seem to be born on destiny islands?
@@angelarce9747 Yes he was..... and the keyblade had to pick another. ;)
If Tetsuya Nomura was a fighting game character, he would definitely be a mix-up character. Because he'd be giving us combos that we cannot see it coming.
So MF?
@@gablink5190 Young Xehanort would definitely be a Mix-up character if Kingdom Hearts has a fighting game.
@@Redxan600 I feel like Larxene would be the main mixup character
@@m0ckyzo185 Nah. I see her as a Puppet and Rushdown archetype.
One of the characters with hit boxes that don’t make any sense
I'll say this, watching the player = Blue Robed Figure reveal I did say, outloud "Xehanort is SO grounded."
But first, he’ll get the flip-flop a.k.a a fine whoopin’ 🤣

Remember Xigbar found Lauriam...or rather Marluxia. So maybe he just had the locations of some dandelions on hand?
You mean the one new exclusive in kingdom hearts 2 final mix when Xigbar chatting with Zexion and he wasn’t eavesdropping and given an hinted short term of “Mar” something.

@@justawafflecousinofpancake4499 New? That scene has been around since 2007. Though I will be fair and say it wasn’t available internationally until 2014.
@@calebgoodman3028 Been on UA-cam since 2007. So yes, internationally. Lol
The Vanitas and Bragi reveals had me smiling so hard lol.
I love the fact that Xehanort is the child of destiny. For the story to reveal it like that was crazy.
we already know how Laurium gets introduced to Xehanort. It was because of Luxu. Luxu says he found him in KH2.
Like Nagato
You're right that totally slipped my mind when recording that segment.
Your heart shall be judged!
Xehnort still didn't complete his mission though. So..
player just thinks that. luxu states its not xehanort plainly.
I know it's nothing... But the biggest reveal for me was the origin of one of my most favorite musics...
"I am the Unknown, which that you fear..." and that's why Xemnas' theme music's called "Darkness of the Unknown" and Xehanort's music's called "Forze Dell'Oscurit"
I don't know why but I have a feeling that whenever the player gets involved in the plot, some part of the MoM plan becomes undone.
So, I forget who said this during their reaction to the finale, but someone pretty much hit it spot on. When it comes to this “child of destiny” business, Xehanort is to Anakin what Sora is to Luke. Only difference is I think Player (and presumably the family Xehanort would have belonged to) chose to believe that Xehanort was the CoD because of the abilities of his heart and the Ephemer bloodline… and apparently how easy it is to just grab a baby and take him to the world the CoD was prophesied to “hail from” to further their agenda of realizing the prophecy. Bragi also said “no chosen one yet… but Xehanort may be useful” meaning Xehanort didn’t make the cut, the Missing Link cast just believed what they wanted to believe.
No Sora probably ain't the Child of Destiny. Its in Sora's character to be not the chosen one but then in some ways tge chosen one's may eff up so Sora needs to step up.
Like how Riku is the supposed Kingdom Key wielder etc. Etc.
Maybe Riku, he was also born there
With Xehanort saying he wants 14 vessels and him being a desendant of Ephemer so many reveals and thinking that there might be some connection between Ephemer and Sora I really want Xehanort to come back in Kh4 as young Xehanort in Quadratum and I want to see the Player come back as well some way besides Missing Link
If young xehanort comes back I want young Eraqus as well. It seems wrong to only have one of the 2 when Eraqus is supposed to be the light that guides Xehanort back. Also I just love young Eraqus wand want to see more of him then just chibi art style and KH3 chess cutscenes. I want him to have presence. To be fair I feel all dark road characters could lend themselves well for more screentime.. Maybe they can all be in Quadratum if it works as some sort of afterlife anyway.
If Quadradum is an “afterworld” where the dead live he may have end up there unless he went to a peaceful afterlife with Eraqus
But who knows let’s see what KH 4 brings
@@amberanime young eraqus is funny i did not expect him to be funny at all lol .
Part of me believes that Xehanort WAS a child of destiny early in life. But once the Master of Masters interfered on a false assumption that Xehanort was the singularity, that privilege may have been revoked and eventually given to Sora after enough time had passed. Xehanort was meant to carry out what Sora eventually did, being able to see an inescapable fate and change it anyway. It also adds additional weight to Xehanorts defeat in KH3. He was supposed to be the one to save the world, and decided that mission was better placed in Sora's hands.
Sora is an ordinary boy with extraordinary luck. There is no way this type would be a child of destiny. I think what a lot of KH fans believed him to be one is extremely not true.
@@alimichalkan8046Luxu said in the end "no chosen one yet" 2:53 So I think Xehanort is not the child of destiny
@@sjwjsaw we don’t even know what the word ‘chosen’ is even referring to.. n it’s a scene after all the classmates died. Is Luxu looking for seeker of darkness or is he looking for something else? I doubt he is talking about the CoD.
@@alimichalkan8046 yeah make sense but who knows
After the Dark Road Finale, my final theory pertaining to the Book of Prophecies played everyone due to its ambiguous scripture.
Xehanort is the Child of Prophecy, since the book revolves around "a child" with latent abilities and darkness prevailing while.light expires. After the descruction of Daybreak Town, people would search for the CoP, but never find him. Insert Player 2.0 (or the era of Missing Link)
Player 2.0 is either - the one to find or, given the task of watching over Xehanort, seeing how he has natural ability to connect with hearts, and is a descendant of Ephemer.
Knowing the trauma Ephemer experienced in his first lifetime, and having lived a second lifetime, Player would shelter Ephemer's great great grandchild, Xehanort, on Destiny Islands. This act of heroism would fall right into the MoM's plans.
Sheltered and given false bravado, Xehanort would become the dark singularity. Exemplified by his courage to take off his armor in the dark maelstrom. His hesitation against Baldr. Bestowment of No Name. And his possessions of multiple vessels across time itself.
A Child of Prophecy guided down a dark road, leading to darkness winning in the end.
Sora, being born from Destiny Islands would be an ordinary kid but his pure heart would allow him to "house hearts" not solely able to read or purge them.
This ordinary kid would be able to house Ven (an ambiguously known keyblade weilder from an Age past). Purge Worlds. Purge Anselm. Save Riku. House Roxas. Take a Mark of Mastery exam. Dive into the realm of sleep. And possess others as an apparition of light. Another singularity.
All while not being of heritage or having a proper bestowment ritual..
Xehanort is a CoP. Sora is a CoP. The Book of Prophecies left it ambiguous so naturally we would believe there's only a singular child of prophecy. Singularities of their respective Ages.
Tl : Dr - Sora is the Child of Prophecy for the new Age. The MoM recognizes this, but needed Xehanort to take the fall from grace to pave the way for Sora.
You forgot one thing that they talk about a few times in the finale, the Dark Seeker.
We (player character) tell child Xehanort that the CoP must be careful or else their heart would be tainted by people that would surely want to do so.
That's what happens to Xehanort, he still have the powers related to the CoP but, like you said, he fallen from grace, he became the singularity, the Dark Seeker, another person that the book talk about, Odin and Luxu also talk about the DS.
I believe that's why Sora has become the CoP, not because he was born to be, but because he's been molded to become the CoP since really young, after mending Vents heart by connecting his own to Ventus'.
Why did you put house Roxas? Roxas is Sora's nobody so he was suppose to rejoin with Sora so Sora could be whole again. Doesn't matter if Roxas developed his own heart during the 1 year because he is a nobody. Roxas' (and Namine) method of returning to his original self was just a different and simplier process than the other nobodies (heartless and nobody die, respectively). If you put "house Roxas" for Sora then you have to say "house Namine" for Kairi as it is not unique to Sora.
Lauriam was found and recruited into Org XIII by Xigbar/Luxu right? We know that from KH2FM scene between him and Zexion. I’d like to see that interaction in a cutscene in the future.
Not gonna lie, Bragi being revealed to be Luxu was 🤯.HUUUUGE!
I kind of wish the character would have been someone like Loki not marble like you just a Kingdom hearts character named Loki it's kind of sad that they didn't have characters named Thor or Loki or sif
@@noahdean9685 True
@@noahdean9685 imagine of they did introduce Loki as part of the class and that ended up being Luxu
@@noahdean9685 they have Skuld, a Nord goddess of fate
@@nox_cadit yeah but we don't know what happened to her hopefully missing Link or another Kingdom hearts spin off will explain it.
So with all the Norse symbolism with the names, I got to thinking and I believe that the initial assumptions that Eraqus was meant to represent Thor and Xehanort was meant to represent Loki were actually wrong; instead, I believe the opposite is true. Eraqus accidentally incites the events that lead to Baldr’s fall like Loki does in the story of Ragnarok. Loki’s three children bring down most of the Gods, but in this context I believe this can be interpreted as various mistakes on Eraqus’ part leading to the eventual demise of Xehanort. Baldr parallels with Loki’s daughter Hel, in that he uses the domain of the dead to severely weaken Xehanort and friends, and is heavily tied to both taking lives and being involved with the lives and deaths of several deceased characters. Ventus parallels somewhat cleanly with the Fenrus Wolf (Fenrir), in that he initially trusts Xehanort, but he is betrayed and kept stuck somewhere so as to mitigate his capability for destruction. In trying to kill him, Eraqus unintentionally delivers the betrayal that sends Ventus over the edge and into facing Xehanort. And finally, Sora would then parallel Jörmungandr (the world serpent/snake). He doesn’t have a direct correlation to Eraqus, however Eraqus’ teachings have influenced him in that two of the master’s pupils interacted with him on some level and influenced him. This delayed reaction is very similar to how Jörmungandr was cast into the sea and largely forgotten until he rose during Ragnarok and killed Thor, having become massive while unsupervised in the ocean. He poisons Thor, but Thor actually kills him first, very much like how Sora has to reverse time to undo the light’s initial failure to stop Xehanort’s machinations in KH3 but ultimately wins. I know it’s not the cleanest comparison, but I find it interesting
Xehanort is not the child of destiny, it's Sora. The player character admits he might be wrong about Xehanort being the of destiny and just brings up that they need to be from Destiny islands, but we know that Xehanort is not from Destiny Islands, he is from Scala Ad Caelem.
If Xehanort knew or even suspected that Vanitas was one of the pure darknesses and Ventus' heart wasn't actually split therefore meaning it wasn't pure light, why would he continue on with his plan to merge the two together to forge the X-Blade? And more importantly, how did it even come close working when it now clearly should not have.
14 lifes....Also the new concept art of xehanort Is confirmed by the fans work that the background Is a part of Shibuya (city used as reference for quadrarum) so there Is a theory that we could see (somehow) young xehanort again but as an Ally (?)
.For this remember that Sora and riku are Now in "the world of fiction" a new kind of realm we don't know how "Time" and "space" actually works here.
If the 14th life is just to see the new world, then,
Uh, that seems less of a life of action? Idk
Can’t wait to see Young Xehanort again. Love the guy. Hope he will have a big impact in kh4.
Soo.. The KH:DR finale got released on the day of my school grades in my country. So when I watched the finale my mom called me and and she was like : " you got 96 !! " and I was like : " Who cares?? I KILLED MY FRICKING SON "

Sora is the Child of Destiny that was foretold in the Book of Prophecies.
Yup this a classic "I thought he was the chosen one, but it's actually that other guy"
@@kevindimas253 Just like Nagato and Minato from Naruto, Jiraiya thought that either Nagato or Minato was the Child of Prophecy but it’s actually Naruto himself, plus their isn’t just one Child of Prophecy their are two and Sasuke is the second.
Huh?
@@rileyduncan3927 yeeees
I still don’t think he is.
I dont think Xehanort is the child of Destiny.
In the endind Luxu as Bragi says something in the lines of "So it wasnt you, but xehanort can still be useful". I think he comes to that conclusion because instead of trying to save Baldr, Xehanort eliminates him, something that the true child of destiny would never do (Sora).
The player seems to be mislead because of the prophecy and the fact that Xehanort is related to Ephemer, but he says the prophecy of the child of destiny is related to someone from Destiny Islands, leading me to believe that the true child of destiny really is Sora.
“So it wasn’t you..” seemed to be implying more on Baldr, not Xehanort.
I wonder if Child of Destiny is actually a misunderstanding and that it’s actually Children of Destiny. I only say that because Player was obviously describing Sora when he believed it was Xehanort, but we also learned in UX that one of the Darknesses would accompany the Chosen One (Ventus) into the future
I knew The Player wasn't Xehanort! I thought it was a red herring. It just seemed too easy for Nomura. However I didn't expect him to raise Xehanort. Very happy with how this game turned out
Nomura is better at writing than everyone give him Credit for He created a universe were everything can Happen
That sly fox
Wait what? The Player didn’t reincarnated into Xehanort? The Player escaped and became that hooded figure that raised Xehanort?
That’s interesting.
@@onlyacomentarynothingspeci2419he actually is… thw problem is some of it was tainted by some his work like time travellimg, etc., and then a lot of plot ironing needed to be done.
"He/She walks like a carpet" is my new fav' insult.
The way I put it together points towards Sora still being the “child of destiny” (presumably this prophecy is revealed in Missing Link) because of a few clues - Player 2.0 says the child of destiny would hail from the “isles of destiny”… and takes Baby Xehanort to Destiny Islands after he’s born only for him to go right back to Scala ad Caelum, and while Xehanort and Baldr were both pretty good examples of special characters with open hearts per se, I might even go a step further and say that since Missing Link will focus on bloodlines, I even feel as though Baby Xehanort being the great-great-grandson of Master Ephemer might have swayed false belief that the baby was the child of destiny.
There were so many great reveals but my only question is where is Yen Sid in all of this? I was hoping he, Eraqus and Xehanort form a trio.
Elsewhere in scala. We'll probably never see a young Yensid since one doesn't technically exist in Disney.
There were so many other Citys with Towers, there were probably other Residences and keyblade weilders alongside Masters
@@onlyacomentarynothingspeci2419 If thats so then what happend to all those keyblade wielders? By the time Sora and Riku go down that road they seem to be the only ones left. No other keyblade societies or masters or aprtentices. Unless Mickey's trip to scale will show they are still a thing, but if so then that opens a whole other can of worms on why they where not involved in stopping Xehanort, and why Yen sid didn't send Riku Sora Kairi and Lea there to train instead. So I am asuming no other keyblade masters/wielders are left by the time of BBS even. Eraqus and his 3 aprentices being the last active ones. So by that logic I cant imagine Yen sid was of some other tower or city, because then there should be more of them. To be fair dark road opend the door to a lot of plot holes (Untill solutions are given) like indeed the lack of keyblade wielders between their youth and the time Eraqus takes on aprtentices. If Scala was one big keyblade school, where is everyone else? Or did everyone die during that attack and where Eraqus and Xehanort the sole survivors? (And Odin..) Yen sid could be odin with a new name I suppose but that doesnt seem to be the case so far. Maybe Odin took another aprentice after he retired, maybe he trained Yen sid on the little world he retired too. And then Yen sid stayed on that world after odin passed. Which became Yen sids tower.
In Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, the cutscene between Xigbar (Hooded) and Zexion, Xigbar states he was the one who found and recruited Marluxia.
I just finished KH:DR hours ago, and I believe that The Player assuming Xehanort for the Chosen Child of Destiny is because during this lifetime they were living Xehanort just seemed like the natural best bet, especially considering his lineage and his ability to sense hearts and peer into people's memories. It may have even been true at the time, but when his heart began to fall to darkness, the blessing as a child of destiny, like a keyblade sometimes does, went away and into the heart of another.
I do agree that in the present of the game series that Sora and/or Riku are the current Children of Destiny, Riku sharing the obvious signs and even some choices like Xehanort while Sora was basically chosen by destiny itself and surprisingly (or not for some) best fits the job description.
I'm not QUITE certain Xehanort IS the Child of Destiny.
Player kind of implies he might not be (I forget the exact wording, but "maybe not" kind of a thing), and Luxu says that line in the graveyard about "Not the chosen one...but maybe he can still be useful".
Taken together, I think Xehanort IS special, but the Child of Destiny is PROBABLY Sora (given the stuff about connecting people's hearts and how Namine has said Sora's heart is connected to so many people). This doesn't diminish Xehanort's power or special-ness, but does make me wonder.
The BIG twist to me is that Xehanort - or _A_ Xehanort - may still be alive. The scene where he's playing chess and says he needs more lifetimes. When Eriquas asks how many, he first says 13, but then says something like "No, wait, 14. I'd need one more to see how it all turns out" after summoning Kingdom Hearts. We've met all the 13 in KH3 in the final clashes of the 13 Darknesses with the 7 Lights...but he specifically mentioned 14...
Casual reminder that Xehanort _didn't_ find Lauriam, Xigbar/Luxu did. Dude bragged about it to Zexion way back in 2FM. Dude might also be the reason why Marxy conveniently forgets his sister exists. To my knowledge we have no clue how Elrena ties into all this, though.
Sora is the child of Destiny, the player character just thinks Xehanort is because he can read his memories.
Exactly, and I think the Child of Destiny can be an important plot point for KH4.
when Sora says he’s been having weird dreams lately do we ever find out what he is talking about? if not i think it’s highly possible Sora has seen the players past memories in his dreams and never brought up to anybody thinking they were dreams when they were in fact his previous life memories might be far fetched n lowkey wouldn’t want that i remember one of the biggest plots of KH1 is that Sora essentially was a nobody but prevailed cause of his connections n Heart. it would still be a good twist though
"It Was Luxu All Along" 🎵
I think the focus on bloodlines has two purposes - 1. Maybe to replace the artificial choice that Unions provided 2. To trivialize other characters’ importance so that it’s certain characters’ bloodlines vs Sora’s being a rando destined to save the world from darkness. Sora’s less “special” if he’s just destined, but the more we’re persuaded to think characters besides Sora are only similarly special due to sharing blood with other characters of import, the more special Sora appears to be, destiny or not.
I screamed because of the Luxu reveal too. What got to me was Luxu not being keybladeless like he said in the reports.
He was keybladeless when he wrote that report. But of course would get one when became a student, the keyblade might even belong to the actual "Bragi".
@@Nerwrax15 That's a whole other can of worms. The reports seem quite suspect.
Marluxia and Larxene still have a lot of tricks up their sleeves I can’t help to feel like.
"Know what screw it, YOU raised Xehanort! You bastard you should've given him a better moral upbringing!" Nomura probably.
But I died of old age. Don’t you know how hard it is to cook or even pee and and poop at my age. The short term memory loss ain’t helping either
I think sora is a better child of destiny than xehnort, and also I thought Vanitas coming from Darkness makes more sense than "half light half dark" saftness
If Xehanort wasn't the Player like we all thought, how is Ventus one of his old friends? If anything, there was a scene that showed him going through the Player's memories/dreams.
Kh community : OMG WE ARE XEHANORT !
Nomura : nope you *raised* xehanort !
Kh community : WAIT WHAT!?
Nomura : btw bragi is luxu.
Kh community : Wait . Bragi..BRAIG 🤯
I didn't hear anything about Bragi being Braig/Luxu so I was caught completely off guard XD
I was so happy when I was proven right that Xehanort wasn't the Player reincarnated, because I never got that impression at the end of UX, but anyone I talked to said "Player became Xehanort blah blah blah" and I didn't understand why everyone thought that and I started feeling like I was the only one who felt something was really off with that idea. Another thing I noted was how the Player said they lived 2 lifetimes, whether their current one in that moment was their second or third I'm not really sure, but clearly Missing Link is going to be us playing their second lifetime so that's going to be exciting :D
This is gonna turn out to be some sort of outside of reality (insight intended), thing. We are the player ourselves and always have been right? I think Sora will be revealed to be an incarnation of The Player, the purpose being that we have played on both sides of Darkness and Light. Honestly I hope there is a truly, epic, moral decision that we can make toward the culmination of the series. Finally i have been following you for some time now and I love your content, thank you.
Its incredible how a mobile game can give you goosebumps.
Nomura has powerful writing abilities throwing everyone for a loop
All I have to say is, how in the how in the absolute HECK did we raise a MENACE TO SOCIETY!?😂😭
My theory for where Yen sid was during all this: He was not on scala at all. Eraqus Xehanort and Odin where the only survivors. (Because if not where the hell are all the other masters and wielders when things go bad for terra aqua and ven, and after that Riku Sora and Kairi.. and why does Yen sid not send them to train in scala if things are still running there..) Odin retired to some small world. My theory is he found Yen sid there, and despite his traumas and original plans he ends up taking on one final aprentice after all, to teach him all he knew, mistakes included. Yen sid inherited the place after Odin died, which became Yen sid's tower.
Yen sid is a disney character so its harder to use him
Bragis swag reminded me so much of luxu/xigbar so bad. You can see Dark Roads cover were bragi smiles looks so much like him man
Wouldn’t being a Child of Destiny make Sore into what he was never supposed to be?
Oh shit, I just realized that Xehanort is a River Song's screwdriver. Nomura is still trying to write WHY his name is an anagram of both "No Heart" and "Another" and will keep the character around until he has no choice but to open that narrative mystery box (which may or may not involve the literal mystery box.)
Dude when old man Xehanort was talking to Vanitas and he said something like “there’s no chance you could beat me” and Vanitas just went “G-got it.” I was like “YOOO VANITAS JUST GOT BITCHED OUT DAMNNNNN”
My largest questions are about SaC. Why and how is it so big? How did it change and build so quickly? We've seen the master keyblade change castle oblivion in an instant, I wonder if it's related to that.
Luariam was found by Luxu (Xigbar). if you remember a scene in KH2, he said so when chatting with Zexion. "you know i just happened to find one just the other day. Mar-something. that puts the organization numbers at 11".
I wonder if Xehanort was trying to get Sora to Quadratum to help the replica there... investigate darkness? Considering how the replicas work, the 14th vessel can't be a time traveling version of Xehanort. I think Xehanort intended his Quadratum self to live indefinitely in Quadratum after the Keyblade War. It can't be Xehanort himself, his spirit clearly left with Eraqus... unless he sent empty vessels to Quadratum and that scene in KH3 of them ascending to heaven was them really going to Quadratum to inhabit the vessels! Quadratum is connected to the Final World after all!
Our character raising the main villain of the franchise... did any other game ever do it?
Nomura must be insane to write Kingdom Hearts stories like this. I'm all for a complicated story as long as it's understandable. It just seems so out there to me. The story used to be my favorite part of the series, but the direction they're taking is just so weird. I don't like that they made Darkness a character. To me that's like if you made the force a character in Star Wars. I also don't like the alternate relaities like Quadratum. There's many more things I could add that are a little more minor. I like the lore surrounding the Lost Masters and the Black Box, but the rest of it is getting so weird. I miss the days of the Dark Seeker Saga.
3:58 Replay KH2 Xigbar brought Larium/Marluxia to the organization.
Man, I don't know where KH4 is gonna go, but I hope we get another taste before too much longer! Thank you for this video!
Stay well out there everybody, and God bless you, friends. ✝️ :)
I don't actually think that Xehanort is the child of destiny. I think Sora is the child of destiny, and the player and everyone else simply misread something or got a false alarm when they saw Xehanort as the child of destiny.
Sora is the Child of Destiny
Yeah, I'm thinking Xehanort is NOT the Child of Destiny, but we won't see much more about that except that its actually Sora. I think the player's reincarnation BELIEVES that Xehanort is the Child of Destiny, but he didn't ultimately live up to it.
I'm pretty sure the prophecy of the child of destiny is Sora and the player character was mistaken that Xehanort was the child of destiny.
confirmed
Didn’t they say there could be multiple Child of Destiny? Or Prophecy?
Riku is probably the child of destiny and Xehanort's grandson. The silver hair has to be genetic.
Bro, I'm telling you now that luxord is brain and he was watching everyone to make sure everything was going according to the book of prophecy.
I'm convinced Sora is the child of destiny and not Xehanort. It was not a reveal that it was Xehanort but rather just exposition on what the child of destiny is. The player character believes Xehanort is the child of destiny but even they say it may be too soon to tell. But the description of the child perfectly aligns with Sora. A child from destiny islands who can connect his heart with others to become one.
Furthermore, Bragi/Luxu at the end says "guess it wasn't him afterall" which I believe means that Luxu thought Xehanort was the child of destiny but turns out he wasn't. Then again when Xehanort brings Ventus to Eraqus, he says he believes Ventus could be the one. Xehanort believes at that point that maybe Ventus is the child of destiny.
Just woke up dreaming about playing missing link, I take my phone and this video shows up.
Life is good.
Here's my Question. Even though I watched all of Dark Road. Why did Xehanort turn on Eraqus and turned evil?
Marluxia was actually found by Xigbar. As far as we know, Xehanort never found Lauriam before the latter was brought into the Organization.
Well, Player was wrong about his future self raising Xehanort as an "I'm cool with this" destiny, so I wouldn't be surprised if thinking Xehanort was the Child of Destiny was another "ding dong I was wrong" moment.
So glad that Player didn't become Xehanort.
Are you going to be doing a full recap? Or anyone know where i can watch one?
Somebody else probably already mentioned it but Xigbar/Luxu recruited Marluxia/Lauriam into the Organisation XIII
Tetsuya Nomura is the master of master
No, Sora is the child of destiny after all
Knew it blue rob hype but who knows
Emphimer gave the light to brain, brain gave the light to blue rob, blue rob gave the light back to emphimer son xehanort, dark road got ventus remove the darkness that ventus trap in him. Ventus been saved by sora. Ventus saved sora on destiny island. Then blamoo kingdom hearts happen
In kingdom hearts 2.5FM, it's showed that it was Xigbar to recruit Marluxia.
If he was already Marluxia or if he was still Lauriam, we don't know.
I wonder what they'll do with Disney worlds in Missing Link if it's supposed to be even further back in time than Dark Road
Honestly, I'm glad the player didn't reincarnate into Xehanort. And if they do again, i don't want it to be any of the established characters, especially Sora. I want the OC to stay the OC.
What does "OC" mean
@@Lightguardian_HOH Original Character
No amount of backstory will make me feel bad for Master Xehanort. I'm just waiting to see how this MoM actually looks under the cloak. I am betting on an "Oh no hes hot" moment just for the memes.
I always thought Xehanort just loss his hair over time as he got older
I swear this story is made on the go last second before its due.
I thought we did get reincarnated as Xehanort and Brain/Luxu was the Blue Robed character and when his body died his heart sought out a new Hoast aka Bragi.
We all know how marluexia was found xigbar/luxu found him and #12. It was a cutsence in kh2 fm
It wasn’t a reveal but that Magic Carpet scene had me laughing so hard
The ballroom dance scene for me 😂
Larium got found by luxu. At least referenced in kh2
3:46 Marluxia was recruiting to Organization 13 by Luxu so that's going to be an interesting reveal.
i wonder who the players next incarnation is...
khux standard player outfit looked quite similar to missing links one....
and missing link blond character also seemed to have similarities to luxord...
he also was supposed to have an ancient keyblade legend sleeping within him...
truly cant wait for missing link~
We know that Xigbar found Lauriam. So that will probably be a plot point in the future games, of Xigbar or Laur revealing what happened.
What if Sora is the third reincarnation of our Avatar character in Union Cross!?
Personally, I believe that the reincarnation was a one time offer. My guess is that Player reincarnates into the player character for missing link, grows old, and is elderly by the time they take Xehanort in. I imagine them being the same age as Brain, who seems to be Eraqus's grandfather. And if player remembered their last life, Sora probably would know as well, unless the memories become unlocked as they age, which is possible.
Don't get me started on my thoughts about brain and luxu though. We'll be here all day.
Also Sora in despair was able to call up Ephermer along with the wielders of the past as the huge wave of Starlight keyblades. Makes me wonder if he's actually in Eph's bloodline and that one wasn't a one off reference meant to be discarded after III. So I wonder if Sora is part of Xehanort's family tree, but decided to do what Xehanort did in another way.
I also didn't forget that Xehanort is an anagram of another and no heart with an "X" tacked on. Makes me wonder if he was a vessel of someone else instead of Luxu (when he ended up being Bragi/Braig/Xigbar), like maybe the Master of Masters since regardless of what they did Xehanort (in Terra's body of course)/Xemnas was always apprentice/nobody #1 and Braig/Xigbar was apprentice/nobody #2.
Master of Masters probably has a lot of tricks to survive this long under his sleeve too, like his second in command foreteller Luxu.
And with the reveal of the Xehanort's grandpa (Refering to the Blue Robe) I now feel somewhat of the need to either reset or throw out my fanfic that exists solely in me head. The main reason is it centered on the idea of the Player reincarnating again at the end of 3 with Erauqs and being found and joining the Keyblade wielders just after Melody of Memory wraps up. The only reason I think like that is when I make fanfic in my head I try to be as accurate as I can to the source material as it is surpising how much inspiration you can get out of it.
The biggest reveal to me was that the writers, Nomura or whoever, no longer care even a smidge about basic storytelling tenets like coherency or consistency, and that you can't trust literally any revelation, line of dialogue, or basic piece of info in KH since it's liable to be rendered completely nonsensical/irreconcilable by a future "twist."
Is it me or have we not found out how Xehanort changes his eyes color to yellow?
so we got Braig, Luxu, Xigbar, Xigbar-Xehanort, Brain, and now raig
It still begs the question if the player reincarnated as Xehanort's father/parent figure or what ever you call it in this case. Why continue to write Xehanort AS IF he is still is the reincarnation as The Player....pun not intended I swear. He refers to Ventus being an old friend and vaguely is aware of what Vanitas is. Is it possible The Players soul SOMEHOW got split into two? One of raising Xehanort and the other BEING Xehanort just with vague memories? Hell Roxas was able to co exist with Sora being awake/asleep up until the events from chain of memories to the ending of the prologue KH2 well originally anyway.
Xehanort can feel hearts so saw into the protags memories and thought they were his own
Baldr can do this too and
possibly sora
the player raises Xehanort?
Well, apparently I just became a dream eater - since my name was on the keyblades in 3. (Maurice of the ursus union. That's me. XD I entered the contest for kicks)
The Master of Masters is going to play a huge role in Kingdom Hearts 4 since I know is the actual true villain because he played Xehanort like a filddle acting like he was doing the right thing.
Pisses me off badly how the most lore charged games are... mobile games : )
Yeah I feel that.. I eventually just got over it since it wont change anytime soon but at least the Story is Good!
Wow. I feel so bad that I didn't follow this game. I'm as confused as I was when I was 10 and playing kh2 and having no idea who Roxas was and now I'm n KH3 I'm so confused because I didn't play a mobile game!
Hm, wasn’t confirmed that The Blue-Robed Figure was Player’s Second-Lifetime? So how could they also be the Player for Missing-Link? Though, I guess that depends on when exactly Missing-Link take place?
i think i know whats in the box now.
the seventh darkness is not in the master of masters, its in the box, thats why we dont have M.o.M's name. M.o.M. gave the fortellers there names right, what if those name (latin for the seven sins) are the names for the darknesses, maybe something like bait who know's, but the reason there is no pride and superia is written on the box means the seventh darkness is in the box.
yes its a poor theory but it just clicked in my head and i had to share it, i might be wrong and im fine with that, i just wanted to share.
Only thing I can say could be a plothole is why didn't xehanort ask the mirror sooner? Why wait till he was old?
Luxu not a surprise! The name was a dead giveaway
I wonder how many times the player character will be reincarnated and If hes in kingdom hearts 3
