Leather jacket??
*Mark wants to know your location*
But you’re killing it mike 🔥
He did do well, but that meme is gonna be great
Evan Keough it was warm today lol too
That’s a Agnesi replica bought on EBay
Not enough zippers.
Uh oh.... wearing a leather jacket and doing a Gibson on Tuesday. #darkside
Keep on rockin’, Lemmo!
Motley-
1-Looks That Kill
2-Too Young To Fall In Love
3-Live Wire
1. M
2. V
3. P
That movie proved one thing. No matter how crazy a band is, Ozzy is crazier!
read 12 days on the road with the sex pistols...
Led Zepp also got to some crazy stuff. Not to mention The Who!
GG Allen would beg to differ.
And Keith is Bananas
WHAT Movie?
Lemmo you are nailing the tones of these guitars and how they are supposed to sound like each song should. Thank you for not just plugging in and playing whatever comes out.
So does this guy pay you peopple to comment that his playing is amazing? Lol dudes playing is ass.
amazing as always!
That was awesome playing Mike!.... You made my day brother...thank you!.. I love this channel and it's got a whole lot more interesting seeing you take the chair man!... Can't wait to see what's next!
Have the same one, only from 1990, my first Gibson. Great time to buy Standards. They play and sound amazing.
We’re now at that stage in the show where Fonzie scraps the khaki windbreaker and dons the leather jacket like a true bad ass.
Love the Les Paul!
I'll admit I do miss Mark but this guy absolutely rips!!!!! GOTD is in excellent hands!
Sounds Good! Makes me appreciate MM even more now.
Noisey Broad: "It's too heavy."
Mick Mars: "Let's tune it down a half step and play it faster."
The Dirt Rocks!!!!!!
Tuned down a whole step
Awesome job M L loving your demos
Loving your playing with every episode, your personality is great as well. I feel like the more comfortable you get the more we will all enjoy this.
No doubt, I can't remember an episode when Mark shredded like Mike did during Live Wire.
I get the feeling he's a sweetheart as well but I do miss a bit of authoritative guitar nerd info-dump. Mike more than makes up for it with the playing though! It's like he *cares*! :o
Absolutely killing it, Michael!!
One suggestion: when going with the leather jacket, employ the largest, sharpest zipper available.
Love it!!!
Also the more expensive the more zippers/ buttons you have to wear
Lemmo is a KILLER! Straight up this guy is a great player
Love the crew. Awesome job mr lemo. Keep up the good work brother.
that was super amazing!
awesome playing man!
just watched the rock of ages musical rock is pumping tojight!!
Awesome playing young man! Keep up the good work!
I love this guy. Thanks for the video! -Long time fan
The sweeping doe...

Great video guys!!!!!
I was honestly looking up tabs for looks that kill when I saw this pop up lol good vid lemmo you're killing it
Thanks again for so many things not the least of which is no scratchy scratchy.
Awesome playing and awesome t-shirt
Cool, I've got a black 1988 Gibson LP Standard too, and it looks absolutely identical to this. Bought it back in the early noughties for 700 GBP. I still absolutely adore it and it's my number 1 guitar. Can't imagine *ever* selling it.
Michael, be yourself, you're fine. Never please all of them, except with your playing. It's the best. See you tomorrow.
Lovin’ it !!
It looks like your t-shirt skeleton is playing the guitar, which makes it even cooler lol.
Awesome playing!!
I think its stevie ray vaughan
Glad I tuned in.
Excellent playing ML..........your skill is phenomenal
I would love to own that guitar. Good review and demo man. You are a damned beast! Excellent playing.
Great playing, love the t-shirt, and thanks whi much for taking the jacket off to play. I would have enjoyed some more info on the guitar (nut width, some pick-up info, show us a good shot of the buckle rash etc) still, you are doing great, keep rockin!
Now he is starting to get into it!
Now that was ,........ Outstanding !!!!
Seriously cool les paul and very well played keep it up lemmo
I’m loving this guy, Mark was great and this guy is doing great too.
👍🏻👌🏻🙌🏻
Loving it dude!
Yo that is a dope Jacket, I believe 88 was a transitional period for pickups of that era. End of the Tim Shaw and the beginning of the PCB Bill Lawrence. Great playing as always Michael.
Yesssss thank you lemmo your the man long live gibson
Awesome episode! Getting better and better Lemmo! Second week seems promising ;)
I also loved The Dirt! Not ashamed to say I watched it twice this weekend... Awesome guitar!
That was totally awesome!
Woah there. Mark! Your hair grew back, it's a miracle!
Mark has never played so well!
Mike.. your playing skills are outstanding. But still need a bit more info on the guitar.. History-Condition-Demo (Lemmo).....
ContraBand Joe why? Are you planning on buying it? Wouldn’t think so.. visit the shop if you want more info on the guitar. This is UA-cam channel for entertainment and to show norms stock. Not a history lesson . Many thanks
@@alexmarshall7909 this is the dumbest comment I've ever read. Just because you're interested in something doesn't mean you want to buy it.
@@alexmarshall7909 This show isn't purely for entertainment. All of the guitars shown are for sale and the video is meant to generate interest in selling the guitar.
@@alexmarshall7909 I enjoyed when mark would go in depth about a guitar cause not only did I learn about it but I know what to look for when buying older guitars!
@@srh361 yes agreed but this info was accumulated over decades which lemmo doesnt have , what he does offer though is entertainment and great playing to show the guitars off. all info about the guitars are on the website so i dont see the issue ?
Great job!
Sick! Love the jacket and guitar lemmo!
Great job ! Love the Crue.! Just watched the movie last night . Awsome !
Great Work LEMMO, epic playing once again, cheers!
thats exactly what my 1980 used to look like! sweet guitar, I changed a few things on mine no worries its a keeper!
Good Job!! Sounds very good👍🏻
That was crazy. Very nice guitar, and, it's black. Wow!
Nice work 👍!!
sr lemmo! monstruo con el crew! y con tu sabor al final! respect! what a bad ass sounding les paul! brutal
Sounds awesome. Love that spring reverb haha.
Dont hear of many les pauls from the 80s for some reason.
Outstanding video my friend...
Stole that jacket? No, problem! Looks great!! Got to have that shirt! Where did you get it?
Awesome !!!!!!!!

awesome playing, mark wld be proud!!
2nd week with Lemmo, you're doing great Mike! Keep it up
Best sounding tele I ever heard!
Love the SRV shirt.... awesome playing as always
You are really a top presenter/player. Very likeable. Keep it going. Want to see that film
Ninja turtles hate Lemmo
because he is the shredder🤘🏻
You melted my face on Live Wire.
Great guitar and playing Mike!
Very cool, have an 89' exactly like that.
More 80’s songs! Awesome job
ooooh , THE guitar , black Les Paul standard , this is the one I want , if I ever win the lotto , classic humbucker racket , all EQ's at noon just a little reverb and wide freakin open , that's how ya rock n freakin roll. Great demo Lemmo , and nice intro to the guitar , still need a little more time on the specs tho , wood composition , the pick ups , history , etc. but you're doin a great job , so relax have fun, play guitar. Thanks Michael and Jen.
Well played Mr. Lemmo!!
Michael, you are an amazing guitarist...
Hi Lemmo,
I’ve been loving GOTD.
Got some homework for you though my man.
Take a Les Paul home and get to know all the amazing things all four knobs do. The versatility of the LP is massively underrated. It took me a very long time to understand just how important all the subtle variations and settings of those knobs could make that guitar work for any style of music.
You mentioned you hadn’t really spent a lot of time with a LP. If you can seriously put some time aside to really get to know one then it will be another massive asset to your already fantastic playing.
Also on another note, you could also look up a bit of history about the end of the Norlin era and the changes back to more traditional design that these ‘80’s LP’s had.
Things like the death of pancake bodies, the volute and the three ply maple neck are all really important reasons why the guitar you just played is starting to be known as “good wood” and the start of the second golden age at Gibson.
Hopefully you read this and take it in the spirit is was written.
You’re doing a great job and your personality shines through. Keep on keeping on mate and give the LP a chance to grow on you.
Byeeeeeeeee
Rocked it!!
I like the way you wore a jacket from 1988 as well. Nice touch 👍
Wow, what playing. Holy shit - great job Lemmo.
My first Les Paul was one of those. Nice. I think your leather jacket is pretty cool too. And you took it off to play!
The Dirt was a badass movie! And that is a badass Gibby! Another Awesome start to the week!!
Great Lemmo Demo! Would definitely like to hear more details about the guitar in the intro section 🙂👍
Excellent
Michael, I’ve got one bit of advice (certainly not meant as a criticism, hopefully that is clear, because you’re doing awesome). If you listen to yourself talk on video you may notice you say “uh” and “umm” a lot when you’re pausing to think about what to say next. It’s very common in public speaking…and really distracting. I always clicked a pen, so we all have a nervous little tick we need to be aware of. That’s just something to consider as you get more stick-time on the show, but seriously, you’re really getting into a good stride with these shows. I appreciate that you’re continuing to educate a bit with music history or lore surrounding each instrument and I know that takes time, effort, so thanks buddy. Cheers!
Wow.. you are the best!
Nice guitar! I dig how Stevie Skelly looked like he was watching your fingers and digging your playing.
Tremendous playing! Also was indeed a crazy movie and Ozzy was nuts haha
Mike.....you blow me away. Wow. That was an ending and a half
I love the happy to be here part
Fkn killed those crue licks brother man!
Great job Lemmo
You Rock man!!! Playing the shit out of those old guitars!!!!
Hell Yeah!
Great playing sir! And I gotta say, what a very nice SRV shirt you have there
I’ve got a 91’ Standard, it’s a boat anchor but I love that guitar. Great demo!
Jason Goodell I have two 91’s. Such a great guitar!
I have a 94 and it is the heaviest guitar on the planet
‘94 ebony.....definitely good wood era Les Paul’s.
I’ve got a ‘95. Just under 9lb. It’s awesome.
Best Lemmo GOTD yet!🤘🏻 keep it up
I have that exact guitar. I bought it in Dec. 88. Still have it. Technically the color is ebony. No biggie. One thing of note is in 88 the stock pickups were the Bill Lawrence HB's. Gibson only used them in 88. They weren't received well. Apparently some early 89s had them as well. I love them. I think they sound great. Lot of guys didn't. I think it's more because they aren't the traditional style pickups rather than them not sounding good. Anyway doing a real good job Mike. Keep it up!
Interesting. I’m gonna look into that now. This was a solid sounding guitar to my ears.
Hell yes! 🤘🤘🤘
No criticisms, you aredoing a good job.
...It did make me realize just how big a shoes you've had to fill. Mark Agnesi brought so much life and verve to the presentations. He would just drool - in a good way - over each one, and each of their unique features... And we, the audience, could lust vicariously over these top shelf instruments. We could all channel our inner 12yr old and just go, "This is totally radical, dude!! Rock on!!! "
But yeah, full support to you, new guy. You must have impressive credentials, cos there would have been a frenzy of weird n wonderful RocknRollers and experts to compete with.
So I guess that'd be my only suggestion : don't be afraid to drool. That's why we tune in - to drool over these exquisite pieces - and you're basically our eyes n ears (and fingers)
Good job bro. Looking forward to some offbeat pieces. I mean I do love strats and les pauls (in fact, they are my only two guitars - so literally my number 1 & 2 guitars of choice. But they can become a bit same-same. The odd firebird, that Dan electro...and e'en that bc rich bich , that ibanez.... Yeah there have been some phenomenal interesting pieces you don't see everyday, lately Oh and that double neck strat! ....
Nice to see you ripping it up on a Les Paul playing Motley Crue, just awesome Lemo love that last bit. Looking the part to well done man...
