This is a video of the Soviet Army fighting against the German Army at the Reichstag during the Battle of Berlin at the end of the war, simulated in Call of Duty World at War.
Call of Duty: World at War is a 2008 first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360. The game was released in North America on November 11, 2008, and in Europe on November 14, 2008.

You know the brutality of this game if you play on veteran
Vire Veteran feels like real war. Getting shot is just: "GET THE FUCK DOWN ON THE GROUND!!" No time to locate and kill. Gotta push slowly, messed up tactical advances and kill every single enemy

Every step tells you have sacrifice a lot of mental power and keep fighting and take precautions for example 1.always reload before going into another gun fight 2.throw nades in hard points and or smokes. That's all I know lol
This was a ww2 game ahead any other,this game did not fellt like a generic ww2 shooter,this showed how terrifying war was,and the execution was on point
I think no other game can do this,this was clearly the best cod in the franchise!

Try playing Red Orchestra 2 / Rising Storm, they do a great job at this as well.

Set that flag after making this on veteran with the urss anthem playing in background is one of the best memories I have from my low teenage years.
I remember fighting these 2 levels when I was just 13 years old.....really felt like I was fighting a real war then....loved the sound effects and the whole nightmarish vibe to it....really shows you that war is hell

The game is a masterpiece, i love the details they've put into it. If i were a developer i wouldve surprised the player at that point in the campaign by adding french-speaking waffen SS soldier. If you didnt know the last defenders of berlin were the charlemagne division of the SS. They were volunteers or were recruited in the later parts of the war as Germany faced manpower shortages. I figured most players would think of it as a bug but it wouldve been a neet detail, and details like these always make the game feel bigger than it is! But, fantastic game nonetheless!

The one Call of Duty game, after so many years the campaign is still fun to go back to and play! Even the multiplayer. I wish one day it would get a remaster, it completely deserves one

this was one of my first games back then and i love how this game shows the brutality and what a man can do to another man of war, and the mad soundtrack makes it eaven better. the dark atmosphere, bloody and dirty soldiers makes it eaven more insane.
They should make another game but with more eastern front battles

A few historical facts about the fall of the Reichstag:
1.) Apart from German, you'd hear French screaming among Axis troops. The SS Charlemagne, an elite SS division of French volunteers were among the units that defended Berlin and the Reichstag. In 1945, the unit's commander gave the soldiers the option going to the West and capitulating to the Americans. Some lived with this opportunity, some decided to go to Berlin to die with the Reich, though there were some survivors.
2.)No column of the Reichstag fell, all of them remained intact
3.)The game show the Reichstag in relatively good condition. This is inaccurate, since the building completely burned out in the 1933 Reichstag fire and was further damaged by the bombing during the war. There were plans to renovate building, but WWII came, so the place only got a temporary roof, no works started. Capturing the Reichstag was really symbollic, but that building was not used by the NSDAP at all, due to its condition.
5.) Next to the Reichstag's main stairs, there were two King Tiger tanks. These tanks defended the building until the last minute, destroying 30 soviet tanks in the process.
4.)At 14:46 you can see a giant bronze Reichsadler with a swastika, you may recognize it from historical photos (most famous one is when Hitler declares war on the US). This statue was real but it was located in the Kroll Opera House, a building used by the NSDAP as a temporary parliament after the 1933 fire.

It could be on regular mode or perhaps you might be correct and he put in a cheat code
On regular mode there's a sniper rifle on the last stage before get to the main room and it's not there on veteran mode though
