Acura ZDX Type S | The most powerful Acura SUV EVER!

The 2024 Acura ZDX Type S is the brand’s first all-electric vehicle! It’s a premium 2-row, 5-passenger, mid-size SUV with loads of tech & performance! In fact, it’s 544lb-ft of torque is more than the NSX Type S super car!
Of course, this being an EV, means that driving range and charging times are really important. The ZDX Type S comes with a 102kwh battery and up to 190KW DC Fast Charging capability.

I got a chance to drive the A-spec and the Type S last weekend at Acura's EVolution event, along with the Prologue. I was blown away by the power in the Type S and would consider one when I eventually do make the switch to electric.
The one-pedal driving seemed useful, but I thought the paddle on the steering wheel felt like a gimmick. It doesn't slow you down as quickly or with as much control as one-pedal driving or the brake pedal does, and I don't understand when I would ever use it over one of those.
Overall, very well-designed cars. Keep it up, Acura!

I hear you about the brake regen paddle shifter, it takes more timing and focus to use it than just the one-pedal driving mode. It can be helpful if you’re coming in hot & want additional braking power though!

At $66k (after EV inventive), I think it’s a ton of car for the money! Near 500hp, Brembos, 22” wheels, Bang & Olufsen, Pano Roof, Hands Free Cruise, key card and digital mirror, etc. Let us know what matches or beats that! 👍🏾
