The way they are so happy awww Shaun always realising slowly what's happening and getting more and more excited is always melting my heart. Im gonna miss Claire this season and I wish we got more of her friendship with Lea before she left. They clearly cared for each other. ♥

@@blackalphagaming8010 She chose to leave and actually said she hopes to reprise her role as a guest star in the future. I don’t think wanting to explore other roles means that she felt “stuck.”

I did not expect Lea to propose. That was super sweet. Usually, the man would propose to the females, and Lea just said, "Nope, this ain't the 50s. Times change" Anyways, #Sheaforever
That was a "tear jerker". Going from both being sad to both of them overjoyed in seconds, caused me to have tears of joy for their combined, elevated dispositions. I like watching the Good Doctor on Monday nights.

Autistic people feel everything 10 times stronger and 10 times deeper, they just have more trouble regulating and expressing their emotions they we NEUROTYPICAL people would. You can see how good the shows maintain the value of Claire for Shaun by letting Shaun hugged Claire, and not letting Shaun hug anyone else even after the amazing news of his marriage.
My cousin is almost 13, he's beautiful, and intelligent, and deep, and sweet, and alarmingly charming, and he's also autistic. Since the moment he started speaking at 4 years old I started telling him I loved him every single time I saw him and then every single time we speak on the phone or text or video chat. He's one foot into being a teenager now and he's in a much more withdrawn place then he was until now, but my point is that every time I tell him I love him (except for one rare moment when he actually said it back) he hangs up the phone without saying a word and it never fails to make me laugh because he loves me too, and in his mind and by his reason it's pointless to say it back because he knows he loves me and if he knows I know. And I do. So that's why this series is so good. Those tiny nuances of Lea asking Shaun to marry her and Shaun not even being moved by it at first. And not because he's autistic and autistic people are withdrawn and emotionless but because it's so natural for him in his mind that it doesn't register as a big deal. Of course I'll marry you. I love you. It's that simple. And it's heartbreakingly beautiful. Thank you so much for this, can't wait till November comes.
