Funny thing about “They’re still making a lot of live action sitcoms today”…Henry Danger, the last Dan Schneider sitcom, and the last remaining active Nick sitcom today, is in its final 10 episodes. A lot of the live action programs now are non-sitcom. We’ve got an All That revival, an Are You Afraid of the Dark non-anthology miniseries that already ended, game shows such as a Double Dare revival that just ended, Keep It Spotless, an Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader revival, a The Crystal Maze adaptation hosted by Adam Conover that just premiered, the hidden camera show The Substitute, and the music competition series America’s Most Musical Family. I couldn’t blame my parents if they wanted to change the channel. Even though I agree that parents should just leave the room or find something else to listen to or watch while around
Correction: Most of Disney Channel Sitcoms of 2006-2016 are straight garbage. Don't you ever lump the pre-2006 shows like Lizzie McGuire, So Weird, That's So Raven, Phil of the Future, and Even Stevens with the rest! Good Luck Charlie was the actual good exception from that dark age. Wizards of Waverly Place was alright. So was Stuck in the Middle imo. And I'll give credit to both Raven's Home and Andi Mack for trying to save Disney Channel the most.
@@PxndaCakes goodness, I kinda forget that, and every time it gets mentioned, I go "oh yeah, that was good" As for good luck charile, I remember really liking it.
Nah, you gotta revisit Ned's Declassified. I rewatched the whole series as an adult, and frankly it holds up better than Drake & Josh, iCarly, and Victorious.
12:12 I watched Ned's when I was in high school-college (partly because my kid brother watched it) and it's pretty solid. Good advice, great physical comedy, I'm not sure if some of the jokes have aged well but as an "adult" I liked it
You missed Unfabulous but that's okay, I didn't watch it either. I only know it because it once crossed over with Drake & Josh, which adds it to the Drake & Josh/iCarly/Zoey 101/Victorious cinematic universe. Also fun fact, Nickelodeon has a second cinematic universe centered around Big Time Rush which also includes True Jackson VP, Marvin Marvin, How to Rock, Yo Gabba Gabba, Fresh Beat Band, and Patchy the Pirate from Spongebob... for some reason.

I grew up and started remembering these sitcoms as Drake and Josh and NDSSG were wrapping and iCarly and eventually Victorious came into fore, remember lots of BTR too, I love them all so much, how that much consistent quality was produced over that time was absolutely mad. EDIT: I remember drips of Zoey101 too but never really properly watched it as I don't think RTE (Irish TV) picked it up like the rest
A nice lookback! iCarly was downright incredible. I also have very fond memories of Victorious, Big Time Rush and Drake & Josh. I also remember really liking True Jackson, VP and Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide was a masterpiece
Big Time Rush was amazing tho... And Victorious was okay, I'm sorry, I know a lot of people like this show, but I just found it a little too weird for my liking which is why I liked Big Time Rush
MetalStriker aka Prabhjot same it was one of my favorites! I thought it was so interesting about how a boy band group actually works, although I do find the sound effects a bit weird and totally random. I always felt like BTR would’ve been better if it had a Zoey 101 vibe, but anyways it still has some really good songs like Worldwide, City is Ours, and so many more,
The great thing about BTR (and Ned's cus it was produced by the same dude) they focused a lot more on the friendship and happy aspects rather than the underlying drama and exaggerated simple stuff we do daily while Victorious etc. throws in random and weird things thats out of the norm. I personally preferred BTR just cus of the charming cast I fell in love with but I do believe any Nick Show in general, if you didnt grow up watching it and decided to watch it when ure older wld seem kind of like a drag 🤔 ok this comment went on for too long..
iCarly, Victorious, Big Time Rush, and True Jackson VP would’ve been an amazing SNICK/TEENick Saturday Night lineup if they weren’t so neglectful about True Jackson toward the end
I loved Drake and Josh growing up and I also loved iCarly...They were both great shows, and I wouldn't mind going back and rewatching them for the memories! 😭😄😁👍
Some of the newer ones are trash. However, one I think showed a ton of improvement is I Am Frankie. Especially season 2. The story and characters were interesting, the fight scenes were epic and it was a nice mix between comedy, action and sci-fi!
Here’s something that never made sense to me. In victorious Helen from Drake and Josh becomes the new principal of performing arts in one episode but in another episode cat mentions Drake and Josh as a show. How is Drake and Josh a show in the victorious universe if someone from the show is the principal and it’s not like he’s the actor that plays the person from the show he is the person from the show as she directly mentions the movie theater she used to work at and crazy Steve. To make things more confusing iCarly and victorious have a crossover which means they’re in the same universe and in iCarly you can see Carly watching Drake and Josh as a show In one episode But in the spin off show Sam and cat crazy Steve appears as a character in real life
So you’re saying: Because of All That we got The Amanda Show Because of The Amanda Show we got Drake and Josh Because of Drake and Josh we got iCarly Also: Because of All That we got Zoey 101 And because of Zoey 101 we got Victorious And Because of iCarly and Victorious we got Sam & Cat, so does that make Sam & Cat an incest baby? Okay I’m done now 😂😂😂😂😂
Fun fact: Gibby almost had his own show. They only filmed the pilot I think but never aired it. Also Kid Danger is technically apart of the iCarly-Victorious Universe since Goomer is featured in it (which also connects Thundermans through their crossover and probably Game Shakers somehow)

Nickelodeon had sitcoms?
_wait this isn't Spongebob_
*LAUGH TRACK*
Well, Spongebob is already a sitcom.
@@poweroffriendship2.0 Paul Tibbit even said its basically a sitcom.
damn i thought you were gonna talk about how they were canonically connected (which they are)
ned's declassified school survival guide was is and always will be my FAVORITE nickelodeon show to ever exist on this planet and there's no changing that. literally every character is iconic. even that weasel
Zoey 101: The "I remember the acting in this being better" show
Also the "i remember the actors looking a lot older" show
When you get older, you realize just how young they truly were. I remember looking at the Ninja Storm Rangers as a kid and feeling they were so adult-looking, but now you notice their youth more
Scott Sandler accurate comment
I thought Michael’s actor was pretty good
@@DigiRangerScott No better words have been said.
I never thought I'd watch a video about Nick Cinematic Universe
Ned’s declassified and big time rush are undoubtedly S tier shows bruh
It was very underrated cause it was kinda overshadowed by dan schneider shows.
@@shireenrazak7160 for sure
agree !
They are a tier along side henry danger
Yes btr is s tier
Dan Schneider pretty much ran live action on Nick. Periodt.
8:44 this part legitimately made me laugh 😂
I LOVED Neds declassified school survival guide it actually helped me when I was in school
They Really Need The Revive This Show But In High School Or Put It On Netflix
Kel Mitchell was my first celebrity crush. Little 7-year-old me genuinely thought Kel and I were soulmates because, I kid you not: I also loved orange soda.
Thats pretty funny you were the real life version of Kenan's little sister.
I wasnt allowed to watch Victorious because my mom thought Cat's voice was annoying so she would make me change the channel every time it came on 😫
Ugh! Parents like that are the *worst!* Like, for fuck's sake, is it so hard to just go do something else if you don't like it?! Jeez, lol
Yea my mom kinda does dat to
I dpnt feel comfortable watching my favorite UA-cam videos with her cause i think she'll make me change it.
But of course i still love her
I've heard a lot of people say they find Cat annoying, and I just don't get it. She's my favourite character!
Fun Fact: Cat gets a younger personality as she gets older
Ngl, if you compare, Cat’s voice gets worse with time. In early Victorious it just seemed quirky, but by Sam and Cat it was incredibly annoying.

This comment holds up not at all after he changed the video title
@@DigiRangerScott Oh shoot, it's true
Nah, you gotta revisit Ned's Declassified. I rewatched the whole series as an adult, and frankly it holds up better than Drake & Josh, iCarly, and Victorious.
Speaking down upon Big Time Rush, you've skewered my heart.
Jerry Trainor, the guy who played Spencer, also got his own spinoff on Nick at Nite. It was ok
Yup, It was called Wendell & Vinnie! It's pretty hilarious and genius. 😄
I feel like Josh would have founded Oprah-con.
The iCarly Cinematic Universe was the MCU of it’s time..
Man I remember those days where I would watch BTR, Victorious and iCarly all the time with my sisters everyday.
Best days of my life.
Did you also start doing the "oh oh Uhu Ohhhhhhh" thing from BTR whenever something minorly bad would happen?
Don’t ever disrespect Big Time Rush like that again
Or the thundermans!
12:12 I watched Ned's when I was in high school-college (partly because my kid brother watched it) and it's pretty solid. Good advice, great physical comedy, I'm not sure if some of the jokes have aged well but as an "adult" I liked it
It’s always nice to see a great UA-cam video
true jackson vp gang rise up, that show was top tier
You missed Unfabulous but that's okay, I didn't watch it either. I only know it because it once crossed over with Drake & Josh, which adds it to the Drake & Josh/iCarly/Zoey 101/Victorious cinematic universe. Also fun fact, Nickelodeon has a second cinematic universe centered around Big Time Rush which also includes True Jackson VP, Marvin Marvin, How to Rock, Yo Gabba Gabba, Fresh Beat Band, and Patchy the Pirate from Spongebob... for some reason.
The Kraken Experiment wait what
**Genuine Concern**
Are you telling me that Patchy and Fred have cononicly met Big Time Rush?
The Naked Brothers Band had some bops, and Big Time Rush definitely did- I was super into Big Time Rush when I was younger.
Everything about this video, literally EVERYTHING - *I relate to.*
It’s awesome to know that as this generation, so many of us had love for these shows. You deserve more subscribers man. One day!
The iCarly universe has actual super heroes
Although it wasn't a sitcom, *House of Anubis* is one of my favourite shows from Nick.
I actually wanna check that show out too! I heard it was one of the best Nick had to offer 😎
I have to say Scott fellows sitcom where more cartoony in tone and fun
Ned's declassified
Big Time Rush
100 things to do before high school
Are underrated gems
When you get to the end and FoaF shits on Big Time Rush: "My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined"
Dan Schneider Verse 1: All That, Amanda Show Kenan & Kel, Drake & Josh, Zoey 101, iCarly, Victorious & Sam & Cat
Dan Schneider Verse 2: Henry Danger, Game Shakers, The Haunted Hathaways & The Thundermans

Yes, it had Gibby in it.

Henry danger has a few episodes left
@Pr.incorporated Henry Danger lasted like 7 years mate.
Such a fun trip down memory lane!!
I gotta admit, I do enjoy Henry Danger. My mom and I watch it together and have a blast.
All these shows were so much fun!!
That closing line got me going “OOOOOOOOOOH”
Follow-up vid when? You have a little bit of explaining to do
I kid you not when did the Moody’s Point thing I literally was so confused if I was watching the same show or not cuz all I did was turn on the tv and click the Amanda show so I was really confused what was going on
7:52 I cracked on that Random bit hahahaha 😂
The new nick sitcoms are pretty good but Disney is 1000% doing better with their shows.
when you started talking about 2007 and put Paramore's album up i got the biggest smile on my face lmao
The last episode of Victorious was actually "the slap fight"
In production order
I thought the last episode was "Star Spangled Tori"
In production order, The Slap Fight was the last episode, but they aired Victori-Yes as the last episode.
Bruh, anyone realize that he put thundermans as a new show that their still making even though it ended
I mean... it still counts for “new” because it still shows
@@ValentinaxEdits iCarly still shows. I was watching it 5 hours ago.

He also forgot Lil Romeo’s show which I just remembered after seeing your comment lol
A nice lookback! iCarly was downright incredible. I also have very fond memories of Victorious, Big Time Rush and Drake & Josh. I also remember really liking True Jackson, VP and Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide was a masterpiece
I literally had a conversation w/ my friend yesterday about how all the Dan Schneider shows are connected
Well I never thought that it'd be so simple but I found a way! I found a way
And I always thought that it'd be too crazy, but I found a way. I found a way.
*I get it.*
*Some people just aren't quirky.*
*It's okay to be just like the other girls...*
Big time rush was just riding the nostalgia train because it aired the same time with Victorious and iCarly
I loved Drake and Josh growing up and I also loved iCarly...They were both great shows, and I wouldn't mind going back and rewatching them for the memories! 😭😄😁👍
Dude, I’m glad you got the “Alright” Josh used to say when he would say something serious, haha.
HOLD UP at 9:45 are you saying Victorious predicted the 'Saying yes for 24 hours" challenge
Nick has always been ahead of it's time
Imagine how would the world be if modern Nick Sitcoms were actually good
yea Game Shakers is shit
Some of the newer ones are trash. However, one I think showed a ton of improvement is I Am Frankie. Especially season 2. The story and characters were interesting, the fight scenes were epic and it was a nice mix between comedy, action and sci-fi!
I thought the Thundermans and Henry danger were pretty good But game shakers not so much
Here’s something that never made sense to me. To make things more confusing iCarly and victorious have a crossover which means they’re in the same universe and in iCarly you can see Carly watching Drake and Josh as a show In one episode But in the spin off show Sam and cat crazy Steve appears as a character in real life
@Tiger And Friends It's just our opinion, you can't force us to "shhhhh."
Should have called it the “The Nickelodeon Cinematic Universe”.
Omg this made me insanely happy. THANK YOU!
14:05 is the best part!
So you’re saying:
Because of All That we got The Amanda Show
Because of The Amanda Show we got Drake and Josh
Because of Drake and Josh we got iCarly
Also:
Because of All That we got Zoey 101
And because of Zoey 101 we got Victorious
And Because of iCarly and Victorious we got Sam & Cat, so does that make Sam & Cat an incest baby?
Okay I’m done now 😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks to all that

Does anyone else remember the show How to Rock? It was on Nick too
Dude. I needed this video. Everytime i watch a sitcom i think about how this universe is connected
Fun fact: Gibby almost had his own show. They only filmed the pilot I think but never aired it. Also Kid Danger is technically apart of the iCarly-Victorious Universe since Goomer is featured in it (which also connects Thundermans through their crossover and probably Game Shakers somehow)
