What if I allow both vlan on both switches then it should work right?
Like
Switchport trunk allowed vlan 10, 20 on switch 10
And switch port trunk allowed vlan 20, 10 on switch 20

thanks for video . with allowed all vlans on both the switches ping will work correct ? and if we have 2 different subnet with same vlans between switch what will happen as switch flood the frame on all interface ?

what will happen if we configure switch-10 egress port as access port and switch-20 ingress port as trunk port by allowing the vlan 10,20?

Thanks for the video Siva...I just tried to connect two L2 switches with access ports in packet tracer, ping is not working .. can u explain with simulation..

Hi, try opening a new project, connect two L2 switches, configure all ports in Sw1 under vlan 10 and is access ports, configure sw2 all ports with vlan 20 and access ports, when you connect a pc in each of the switches the ping should work, makesure to give correct ip addressing in the PC. If not working then check for the mac learning step by step in simulation mode.

Adding a firewall will have many scenarios, depends what kind of firewall, like transport mode, DPI etc.. so i dont wanted to complicate the routing packet walk :-)
