@@michaelsant-hp6fe trauma from being threatened by her parents using a phobia they know she has. bffr urself and stop missing the point on purpose lmao
I have really bad Ornithophobia (Fear of birds), it’s been a part of my life since I was very young My uncle thought it was hilarious and would chase me around with a chicken talon. I would cry my eyes out in the pantry until he went away…and now my family wonders why I have anxiety-
The poor girl who was afraid of the smell of newspapers, her story of her parents honestly broke me. It's not the fact her parents punished her, it's the fact they used their own child's specific phobia to threaten and use against her. It's how phobias start or grow more intense as we age. I have a similar story with bridges or going over large bodies of water, my dad would violently shake the car or drive without caution when going over them as a way of getting back at me or just as a joke. I think my point is, it's okay to punish bad behavior but using something that's special and obviously shouldn't be used willinging around a child shouldn't be a considered punishment.
i have emetophobia and everyone makes fun of me for it and it hurts, i regret telling my family cause all they do is make fun of me for it and they don't understand how it affects me
To me, typophobia isn’t as “weird” as others may think it is. It makes complete sense to me why people would have this phobia. Clusters of small things resemble rashes/disease, eggs of dangerous insects that could cause said rashes and diseases, and they also resemble the aposematic signals (AKA danger signals animals have on their skins/exoskeletons to warn others that they are venomous.) I personally don’t have trypophobia, but I totally get why certain humans are hardwired to react with aversion to this danger signal.
TRIGGER WARNING!!!! TRYPOPHOBIA, PHOBIA OF INSECTS, DEATH DESCRIPTION WITH VIVID DETAILS TRIGGER WARNING!!!! yes, I realized mine is associated to another phobia I have of worms, infestations etc, and of being dead, getting rotten, the post-death experience. So it all adds up. It's way deeper than people can imagine. When I see some hole patterns, it gives me the idea of my own body dead being eaten by insects is gore horror stuff. Absolutely terrifying. Even worse if you imagine being eaten alive.
wow that actually puts it into perspective for me! i’m someone who struggles very heavily with it, even worked through it in therapy because it was affecting my life so negatively. i have OCD and i have very bad intrusive thoughts about contamination so it makes sense why i’m just so afraid of holes. i am ESPECIALLY afraid in holes on flesh.
@kaiwithlove I also have a wasp phobia, I had a bad experience with them as a kid and bee/wasp nests are the one thing that gives me this response and idk which phobia is in play when I see them lol. I don’t have trypophobia otherwise tho but my sister does haha
Same. THAT is an actual phobia. A lot of the others are just like "ooh I really don't like that haha" and it bothers me a little because true phobias are a lot more debilitating than that.
@@carmenaphotography exactly. obviously a phobia is a phobia, but some people have them more severe than others. for example i have thalassaphobia which i’ve tried to control now but a few years ago it was so bad i couldn’t take baths, struggled to sleep because of visions and random panicking and it was just EMBARRASSING but nonetheless, you’re correct
@@carmenaphotography Just because someone has a phobia that isn’t debilitating doesn’t mean it isn’t real. Certain people are also better at hiding their anxieties - so even if someone doesn’t look like their terrified of something doesn’t mean the fear isn’t there.
I love how each guesser was very respectful and also how you can literally see that these objects made each person genuinely uncomfortable…great line up
Most of these folks are way too privileged. So easy to get over those things with basic education. Just goes to show that humans generally would rather remain stupid and full of fear.
Well I also have pediophobia, and like every phobias people can find it funny but man when you have it it’s TERRIFYING I swear, if I see a creepy doll I immediately start crying, so wasn’t really nice hearing him laughing about this
as someone with trypophobia, I can't really answer questions like "how" and "why". Because I don't know, I just don't like it and it gives goosebumps every single time
There’s a theory that it’s a visual cue for a severely diseased or decaying organism and people with trypophobia can’t differentiate between organic and inorganic clusters of holes. Like logically we can, but the reaction is instinctual.
all these guessers were so sweet. nikita had this caring, gentle vibe to him nicole seems super respectful and understanding to everyone coach has this bright personality and it seems he knew how to make anyone smile
nikita is probably the first guy in these videos to truly understand how to deal with someone having a phobia when you are holding the thing they are afraid of. Calm, soft spoken, friendly, careful, doesn't try to push it into people's faces... just a considerate human, good job
the way he was so kind and understanding with everyone. the way he was super cautious not to make the poor gal with trypophobia feel too overwhelmed. warmed my heart 🥺
Hi people! My name is Andrea & I’m the gal in the video with trypophobia! I skipped my part since I’m assuming they show the thing. Thanks to all who have been extremely empathetic and understanding of this phobia. I wish I could say it’s just a “disgust” reaction but unfortunately it’s far deeper than that. I don’t know how to explain it or the why behind it for me, but as far as I can remember seeing clusters of holes TERRIFIES me. It’s been debilitating at times and it does affect areas of my life. To all who have this phobia (or any phobia really) , I send you positive vibes and thoughts. ✨❤️ I hope you find people who treat you with sympathy and patience! & to all who don’t understand my phobia or any of the others, please remember that phobias present in many different ways to many different people. Most of the time we ourselves are aware that our phobias seem irrational or “silly” but we didn’t choose the way our body, mind and hearts react to things that scare us. BE KIND. 💫
Dear Andrea, I fully understand your phobia. I suffer (or just live, I don‘t how i should say it the right way) also from a ‚silly‘ phobia. It‘s called ligyrophobia which means, anything which makes a very loud noise makes me crazy. Means, fireworks, balloons and even champagne-flasks are freaking me out. I‘m really sick of explaining it to new people. They never would understand my fear. But I understand that beeing scared of balloons or anything like that is ridiculous. What I want to say is, i totally understand you. My kind of phobia is really bad and it‘s not funny. I have panic attacts and all that stuff. I would have the same reaction as you had in this video, if not worse. I just want you to know, there are people out there who totally understand you.
I don't like clusters either even after your part was over it was still making my skin crawl. Even if my fear isn't as severe as yours because there are clusters that don't bother me I do get it.
I wish they'd have explained why trypophobia is a thing. It's a residual instinct and the reaction is based on the fact that things in nature with that pattern are/were often diseased/infected etc.
Yep. I have trypophobia and I can’t explain it but seeing those patterns just disgusts me. It’s not so much a fear, just sheer disgust and I try to look away as quick as possible. Even the phrase “closely packed holes” makes me cringe and feel all itchy.
What I'm saying is based on the the research I have seen. Not to say it's definitive because they're definitely still studying it. You can find various scholarly articles on it
I just love that the three guessers were really kind and respectful about the phobias. Nikita and Nicole did great on achieving a trusting ambient for everyone, and Gigs had a great charisma Unlike the other video, with the guy going "I'M GOING TO CURE YOUR PHOBIA OF FISTS BY PUNCHING YOU IN THE FUCKING FACE"
Hey y’all. My name is Felicia, the girl in the orange windbreaker. Appreciate the feedback of the video and my phobia of dolls aka pediophobia. It is completely a real thing for those that don’t believe so. Many have a fear, I have a phobia. There was a lot cut out of this video that explained why I have my phobia. Personal real life experiences, abuse, horror films, tormenting, etc. I have never liked them. No, I am not a tom boy. Yes, I do have a lot of guy friends. But, all that is stereotypical. The point really was to face our phobias and some of us did that. I could not. It might of been a $200 American Girl Doll, but with this phobia, I don’t give a da*n. For the people that were able to face their phobias on this line up, good for them, I can’t help my phobia. That’s why it’s a phobia. They are creepy, life-like and come off as alive to me. Again, thanks for your feedback and let’s try to be a little bit understanding for the line up that was able to do this. It was fun, but we also had to do it 3 times. At this point, my heart was racing, my armpits and palms were sweaty and I had to pee, which you can see myself moving a bit to try and hold it. Dolls and Barbie’s and stuffed dolls and all that jazz ain’t for me. Neither are those ventriloquist dummies. I’m not with it. Haha🤣
I have a fear of thunderstorms, due to childhood trauma, I'm sort of OK around people, especially at work or around my nieces and nephews. At work I have to be in control and I don't want to pass my phobia on to anyone else. The last time I was alone during a severe thunderstorm I ended up hiding in a cupboard trying not to cry. I've tried to get over it, but it's been almost 30 yrs and I'm still scared.
@@heathergarnham9555 oh I can completely understand that and I am sorry to hear the reasons why. That is something you can’t control. Just know that I understand and if you ever want to be thunder buddies, I’m here 🙂
@@heathergarnham9555 i have a fear of them too ! it makes me feel not so alone knowing someone else has it bc most ppl don’t rlly talk ab it (understandably)
As a person with phobia of cockroaches, I think the guests are really brave. I can't even stay in the same room/house/place if I know there's a cockroach, and I start to shake and sweat and cry. People being so close and facing the things they're afraid of is REALLY awesome! I could never.
@@princessnicki63 crackhead... i get phobias that make sense.. but a cockroach? most people dont wanna see that sh but aint no way im gonna cry abt it☠
I had to immediately look away when they showed the trypophobia one. I’ve had it since I was a kid, it seriously affects day to day life. People ALWAYS make fun of my for it, but it genuinely makes me nauseous and I can’t get the image out of my head
yeah the way i IMMEDIATELY put my hand over the pattern. it does not affect me in the same it did the participant, but that shit makes my skin CRAWL and want to throw up. it's an actualy physical reaction and it is the single most irrational fear like idk what it is but i have also had since childhood.
I promise I’m not trying to be mean or invalidate your fear but like what about it is scary? It’s just some holes? Do you associate it with like a hornets nest?
I personally have trypophobia and I would like to say that one time I told my classmates at my table about it so they would know and be cautious with searching it up. ( we had a project on phobias and they were especially bringing light to trypophobia ) Unfortunately a girl at my table thought it was funny and drew small holes on her hand with marker. She finished and showed it to me and I started crying in the middle of class and then she said things that really hurt my feelings like, “ it doesn’t even look real”, and “you’re just crying for attention”. I would just like to say, if you have a phobia, it’s ok. You are not weird, we all have fears.
I completely understand I’m so sorry. I also have trypophobia and I told one of my friends about how I get really scared and it makes me tingle and itch And she was just like it’s so dumb and saying really mean things about me having it and I got really frustrated because it actually like hurts and people who don’t have it they don’t know how ur feels so I moved to like a different seat and then she started searching trypophobia up and showing it to me and my eyes got really red and I just left the classroom. I ended up getting in trouble for leaving without a teachers permission but she also got in more trouble then me. Im just sharing my story.
Omg I share a similiar story, I was in math class in higschool, I dont remember how we got on the subject but i told the 3 people I shared a table with I had a fear of dots ( not knowing about trypophobia) and they laughed and I laughed it off too. So later in class one of them passed me a note and he drew Santa in very small circle, so I jumped out of my chair and screamed. I got a warning from the teacher. Then another one just drew a cluster of circles on the desk and I screamed again and got kicked out of class 😔 They apoplogized the next day but the damage was done
that like exact thing happened to a friend of mine in class she mentioned she had trypophobia and someone showed her a picture and she went pale and almost passed out
Here are the phobias in the video and their timestamps if anyone needs to skip sections: 1:03 - Alektorophobia, fear of chickens 2:41 - Trypophobia, fear of clusters of holes 4:39 - Ophidiophobia, fear of snakes 6:07 - Chloephobia, fear of newspapers 7:54 - Claustrophobia, fear of small spaces 9:05 - Pediophobia, fear of dolls
the girl with a fear of newspaper, i can totally relate. i am absolutely terrified/disgusted/have an absolute hatred for rubber bands and my family also uses it to threaten me on a regular basis or make fun of me and it's horrible that I've even considered running away at some point. just a bit of advice, if someone in your family has an uncommon phobia, please dont use it against them. you never know what we're going through because of you
I have a similar situation with glue, I've not been actively threatened with it but I've had experiences with it that have made me fear it/feel uncomfortable around it. Totally get you- and yes, I agree to not use phobia against people! It sucks!
i think i have a couple with smells :/ my brain does this weird association thing with memories. if it’s an utterly awful memory, it’ll ruin an object, smell, rly anything that i can associate the memory with. it sucks.
Firstly I love that one of the guy guessers (the one that wasn’t Nikita) was so nice to the chicken girl, when they held hands it was so cute. Secondly, I loved that the chicken girl tried to get the smell of newspaper out of the room for the newspaper girl
having generalized anxiety disorder myself, it’s fascinating how something that seems so insignificant to some can have such a large impact on the lives of others. the human brain is something else, man.
I feel you, I have chronic anxiety, and I can literally make myself overwhelmingly anxious about anything if I am not careful. Heck, even just realizing I am not anxious in the moment will give me anxiety. Not to mention if anything in my schedule changes, like a road trip or smth. These people did so much better than I would have, and I admire their strength so much 💙
She wasn't able to explain it at all so obviously no one could understand. Can't blame others when you can't describe your own thoughts and feelings clearly. As someone with trypophobia I very well know why it makes me feel uncomfortable : I feel like something is being eaten by worms and I'm next.
True. I have a sort of trypophobia where when I see BUMPS, it instills a deep seated anger in my bones. It makes me just wanna scrape or smash whatever the bumps are on. (I don't like holes too much either tho)
I have mild trypophobia, and I agree with Andrea, the best way to describe it is my skin crawls and my knees feel weak. There's no good reason for it in my mind but from what I've researched it may be a biological fear rooted in the association between clusters of holes and dangerous animals and/or insects
I start to itch- like it’s just so freaky and disgusting I don’t want to look at it at all…. It’ll make me feel icky and I start to itch uncontrollably
@@keilapierresame it makes me itchy and uncomfortable I suggest putting something cold on ur skin and lotions n stuff also distracting yourself. It just looks weird and disgusting so it’s understandable it’s also usually only if it’s tightly packed and irregular so maybe it’s bc of us liking it in order & not weird if that make sense? It’s still not figured out
With someone with SEVERE trypophobia, I 1000% understand where she is coming from…I can’t explain why I have a literally breakdown but I know that I get itchy and feel sick to my stomach
So I have something similar to trypophobia. It's not so much holes that bother me as much much as it is looking at organic/growth-like repeating patterns (especially anything that resembles material under a microscope) and looking at fungi/mushrooms. My back crawls with an itch that spreads through my body, and my arms get goosebumps. My fingers want to curl up. I've been like this every since I was a kid. I never opened my biology textbook because of this.
no fr i can’t explain why the f i breakdown and start crying and just have a panic attack like it doesn’t even have anything to do with past trauma either 😭
haha, this is a very nice comment but the way you structured the grammar makes it sound like Cut has a factory in the back where they make custom interview characters.
When Nikita said he wrote jokes for a living, I thought he would a jerk. But he turned out to be the sweetest! He seemed very respectful of people's boundaries and genuinely curious to learn about their phobias.
The girls story about her dad putting a blanket over her head and hugging her made me physically uncomfortable. I would hate that. It brought out memories of my siblings tickling me until I couldn’t breathe and I was sobbing. My muscles would freeze up and I couldn’t move to get away. Your body’s natural response is to laugh even if you hate it and you were also crying. They’d say “but you’re laughing!” They would tickle me so bad I would throw up. I’m super sensitive to it now. Like if I’m sitting with my boyfriend and he puts his hand on my thigh he can’t be caressing me with it. I don’t like seeing other people get tickled either. When I see a parent tickle their toddler it makes me tense up and hold my breath just hoping they’ll stop before they traumatize the kid.
Tickling is normal. But your siblings are clearly predatory and creepy because tickling a girl til she vomits is NOT normal. I’m sure more things happened to you even if you don’t remember it. Get help.
@@michaelsant-hp6fetickling may be normal but the parents should be teaching and practicing bodily agency by respecting it when the child says no/stop and teaching them and other children to respect that too. A lot of parents do not do that.
I have Emetophobia, which is a fear of vomit, vomiting, feeling sick, nausea and stuff I'm afraid of myself 24/7 and from people and animals around me 24/7 One of the most hardest phobias to cure from So exhausting, a big hug for all of the participants from me, I feel you all
I have that mildly but my deathly fear is fear of the dark. It takes me about 30+ minutes to gain the confidence to reach for my phone on the nightstand next to me when I wake up in middle of the night.
For the guests: just the fact that you were all brave enough to be there, knowing they'd carry your exact phobias and you'd get very close to it, it shows how strong you all are. There's no shame on having phobias, but getting on stage and doing all the work you've done, it is incredible. (And it is ok if you can't overcome this, or if you don't want to, only the person knows what it takes to do it)
Really like Nikita, Gigs and Nicoles. Gigs is really funny and espontaneous. Nikita is also very funny but gentle and well spoken at the same time. Nicoles is very kind, caring and soft spoken, seems to be a great mom. Love all three of them ❤
I've had trypophobia ever since I saw a dead rotting sheep when I was a child (maggots, I don't think I have to describe it to you), and it traumatized me for life. Just seeing clusters of holes makes me wanna rip my skin off, especially the skin on my hands, and it does effect me in my day to day life as well. It's very real! and it's not just "disgust", it can legitimately ruin my whole day and make me physically sick. I wish more people would take it seriously and put trigger warnings and such.
Omg i had an experience like that and seriously anything that's clustered holes i can barely keep it off my head Everytime i see something close to it i try to close my eyes but i can still visualize it and i can't stop not thinking about it I itch everywhere and get goosebumps. It literally ruins my day
i’m glad someone else has expressed the feeling of irritation and itchiness and overall discomfort in their HANDS!! i have bad trypophobia and whenever i see holes it makes me want to rip off the palm of my hands and i really have no idea why. it also affects the rest of my body but hand specifically the most I’m not sure why
I think I’d sell my soul to be friends with Nikita. What kind human being, I don’t think I’ve seen a “guesser” make the people in the line feel so safe and comfortable.
I've been absolutely *terrified* of dolls since the 3rd Grade, I would have had a baby panic attack just from looking at the ugly thing, so I completely understand her pain
for me it's the opposite :D except I definitely don't fuck with any bad energy demon spirit dolls but I honestly find a doll with a friendly, good haunted spirit kinda wholesome ! sometimes antique dolls are kinda scary but I find them pretty as well :)
I can't stand dolls either. I know someone who has over 100 dolls on display around her house, and it makes me wanna run away and scream anytime I'm there
Pediophobia is so crazy to me, as someone who has it, i dont like dolls but i also dont like mannequins, statues, and animatronics. I can be around that stuff someone what but i wont stop obsessing over the thought of it moving until i leave.
one of my favorite cut videos. all of the guessers were kind and considerate (especially Nikita) and everyone on the line was so nice as well. the guessers genuinely wanted to learn about the phobias and why they each have them it was so fun to watch
i also have trypophobia & as soon as they showed it i immediately started crying. it’s such a weird reaction & i almost felt relieved when she instantly started crying too bc it’s such a strong reaction we get to it. i also don’t understand why but it makes my skin CRAWL & i just i feel for her!
*TIMESTAMPS* (for others like me who may have one or more of these phobias but still want to enjoy the rest of the video) 1:13 - alektorophobia (chickens) 2:40 - trypophobia (holes) 4:38 - ophidiophobia (snakes) 6:08 - chloephobia (newspapers) 7:53 - claustrophobia (small spaces) 9:10 - pediophobia (dolls) happy watching!
I have trypophobia due to a time I had an adverse reaction to a prescription drug that caused me to see vivid hallucination of spiders crawling out of my skin and pores and the holes really freaked me out
I have trypophobia and I feel like a big reason why most people (myself included) have it, could be that in many cases holes can be an indicator of illness or danger (if you've ever googled trypophobia, you have seen the pictures with the hands and the feet😷) and also for myself with a phobia of bees, the honeycomb pattern is really a double-wham for me.
Seeing a deep tattoo makes my skin crawl, it’s black and damaged deep skin; even thinking of it makes me itch. I don’t think I have trypaphobia but I’m not a fan of things round things crawling out of holes, it’s gross
I love how everyone who was guessing was holding the chicken and the. It cuts to him who is on the other side of the room, terrified of the chicken!! Standing there with them like he was in the lineup!!
I love how these people respected their phobias! I watched the one from 3 years ago and one in particular was not overall respectful like these people were. Love them all!!!
I’m claustrophobic, and I thought it was really surprising and weird that my fear sprouted from that SAME THING that the claustrophobic person described. My dad used to do that, and I would have nightmares about being trapped under or in something and not being able to get out.
I feel like one of the reasons people are afraid of animals because of the fear of the unknown because of what they could do. If there was a way to know 100% animals would not attack or bite you, I feel like maybe peoples fear would be reduced. At least for me
I think most animal phobias come from a bad childhood experience. For example, I was riding my bike as a child when a dog started chasing me and tried to bite me while barking/growling viciously. I've had some positive experiences with dogs since then, but haven't quite recovered.
Specially with chickens and other exploited animals, it's so ironic to fear them when they are the only ones who should be afraid of what humans do to them💔 Hopefully things will start changing🌱 I've spent time with them and others in animal sanctuaries and they're as sweet and kind as they can get
totally i have the worst fear of dogs and it makes me very uncomfortable that they're such friendly animals. its also pretty embarassing since people generally love them haha
i have a HUGE phobia of snakes and i don’t have any bad experiences with them first hand but i have nightmares abt them, when i see them i get anxiety and cry, i can barely see one on screen without crying and panicking when i saw a zookeeper with one on their shoulders i ran away crying bc i was TERRIFIED hahah i don’t know too many people with a phobia of snakes, so it’s nice to see someone in the lineup who can relate

I have emetophobia and when I was younger, if someone got sick around me, I'd have huge panic attacks- I can't hear it happening, see it happening, or God forbid smelling it. A lot of times, I'd just run away if I could. Being older, I've been able to work on managing the abject terror I used to feel, but I don't know if I could be as composed as a lot of these people's reactions were. Props to them lol
I would not survive if they put my phobia in the same room as me, I would run. These people are brave. I have samhainophobia which is the fear of Halloween decorations. I dread Halloween every single year and it makes it hard to just simply go into a grocery store.
Honestly I can’t even blame you . I have a very bad fear of spiders so I avoid party city at all cost during Halloween because they typically have big ones hanging up in the ceiling or by the door I just can’ttttttt
I have the BIGGEST trypophobia,everytime I see it I get goosebumps,anxiety,uncomfortable,rapid breathing,itchy,scared,panic attacks,weak,fear and shaking…..
So much better than the last phobia one- people seemed to want to know why people have phobias and *respect* that, rather than just using the session to scare or cure people
I have trypophobia and she does exactly what I do! I had to look away when they showed it but wow so cool to see someone else doing the same thing as me lol
i actually have done therapy sessions centered around this phobia. whenever i see holes i have to cover my eyes because if i look too long i will start to scratch my arms, legs, and face. people don’t understand it at all and it’s so frustrating
Trypophobia seems to be an intense fear, I have friends who have a similar fear and it is always that intense of a reaction. Best wishes to all who suffer it. I feel lucky I do not have it as I suffer Dyshidrotic eczema. When I first got it I thought, I hope those who get this kind of eczema do not have that phobia, or it would be extremely distressing.
Props to every one of them. 🏆 When I was 6 and under, I feared nothing always down to do something crazy, loved meeting people. Almost 20 now and I'm practically riddled with anxiety, can't remember the last time I breathed and felt completely relaxed.

love this series and everyone was so understanding about understanding the phobias and not pushing them past their limits love it!! way better than that guy from the other phobia video
I also have trypophobia, and I can completely relate to what the person in the video said. I have no idea what about them unnerves me, but whenever I see them I pretty much break down in tears, and its super embarrassing.
I used to be scared of dolls as well. Chucky and doll scary movies didn’t help. Until one night I had a nightmare and faced my fear and destroyed all the dolls in my dream 😂

To me, typophobia isn’t as “weird” as others may think it is. It makes complete sense to me why people would have this phobia. Clusters of small things resemble rashes/disease, eggs of dangerous insects that could cause said rashes and diseases, and they also resemble the aposematic signals (AKA danger signals animals have on their skins/exoskeletons to warn others that they are venomous.)
I personally don’t have trypophobia, but I totally get why certain humans are hardwired to react with aversion to this danger signal.
TRIGGER WARNING!!!!
TRYPOPHOBIA, PHOBIA OF INSECTS, DEATH DESCRIPTION WITH VIVID DETAILS
TRIGGER WARNING!!!!
yes, I realized mine is associated to another phobia I have of worms, infestations etc, and of being dead, getting rotten, the post-death experience. So it all adds up. It's way deeper than people can imagine. When I see some hole patterns, it gives me the idea of my own body dead being eaten by insects is gore horror stuff. Absolutely terrifying. Even worse if you imagine being eaten alive.
wow that actually puts it into perspective for me! i’m someone who struggles very heavily with it, even worked through it in therapy because it was affecting my life so negatively. i have OCD and i have very bad intrusive thoughts about contamination so it makes sense why i’m just so afraid of holes. i am ESPECIALLY afraid in holes on flesh.
to me the thing that comes to mind are wasp nests, I mean that is dangerous and it makes sense that would be an ingrained danger sign for some people.

I hope you find people who treat you with sympathy and patience!
& to all who don’t understand my phobia or any of the others, please remember that phobias present in many different ways to many different people. Most of the time we ourselves are aware that our phobias seem irrational or “silly” but we didn’t choose the way our body, mind and hearts react to things that scare us.
BE KIND. 💫
I hope ur able to overcome it someday!💓
Heyy my friend has the same phobia as yours and I can understand what you must go through everyday...I hope you can overcome it someday🖤
@@ceilingfanv it’s not really a thing you overcome
I wish they'd have explained why trypophobia is a thing. It's a residual instinct and the reaction is based on the fact that things in nature with that pattern are/were often diseased/infected etc.
Agreed on instinct, though I heard it's to avoid insect/bee colonies
That’s just a hypothesis, it’s not been studied or proven
Yep. I have trypophobia and I can’t explain it but seeing those patterns just disgusts me. It’s not so much a fear, just sheer disgust and I try to look away as quick as possible. Even the phrase “closely packed holes” makes me cringe and feel all itchy.
Those photoshopped trypophobia skin rashes on google are disgusting to look at it but it really makes me wanna pick them with a knife lmao
What I'm saying is based on the the research I have seen. Not to say it's definitive because they're definitely still studying it. You can find various scholarly articles on it
I just love that the three guessers were really kind and respectful about the phobias. Nikita and Nicole did great on achieving a trusting ambient for everyone, and Gigs had a great charisma
Unlike the other video, with the guy going "I'M GOING TO CURE YOUR PHOBIA OF FISTS BY PUNCHING YOU IN THE FUCKING FACE"
Haha🤣

Then another one just drew a cluster of circles on the desk and I screamed again and got kicked out of class 😔 They apoplogized the next day but the damage was done
that like exact thing happened to a friend of mine in class she mentioned she had trypophobia and someone showed her a picture and she went pale and almost passed out
Where that girl at I wanna fight her for you. I don't like bullies.
So she tried to get a reaction out of you, and when that reaction was genuine fear her sadistic amusement turned to annoyed guilt?! Fucked as hell

Pediophobia is so crazy to me, as someone who has it, i dont like dolls but i also dont like mannequins, statues, and animatronics. I can be around that stuff someone what but i wont stop obsessing over the thought of it moving until i leave.
Nikita makes me want to cry because he seems like such a genuine, caring individual. His demeanor and the way he calmly speaks relaxes me.
Let's be honest, we all love Nikita. He's so nice and calm and gentle.
one of my favorite cut videos. all of the guessers were kind and considerate (especially Nikita) and everyone on the line was so nice as well. the guessers genuinely wanted to learn about the phobias and why they each have them it was so fun to watch
i also have trypophobia & as soon as they showed it i immediately started crying. it’s such a weird reaction & i almost felt relieved when she instantly started crying too bc it’s such a strong reaction we get to it. i also don’t understand why but it makes my skin CRAWL & i just i feel for her!
8:09 "who wanna go in that thang?" Just the way he said that has me 😂😂😂
Omg having Nikita, Coach and Nicole as the guessers was perfect!! I haven't seen Nikita since the self portrait video with Jesse
The person with the doll phobia is right, dolls are creepy. But the simultaneous kick and “whoop” was absolute perfection!
8:33 Claustrophobia Guest crying ????? lmaoo the subtitles
7:30
You can hear the shakiness in her voice...That's messed up man
I know if I feel so bad😢
*TIMESTAMPS*
(for others like me who may have one or more of these phobias but still want to enjoy the rest of the video)
1:13 - alektorophobia (chickens)
2:40 - trypophobia (holes)
4:38 - ophidiophobia (snakes)
6:08 - chloephobia (newspapers)
7:53 - claustrophobia (small spaces)
9:10 - pediophobia (dolls)
happy watching!
Thank you!!
This comment would be very helpful if it was pinned to the top of comments.
Wish this was at the top 😣 before my skin started to get itchy . Thank you tho ❤
It made me so so so so happy when Nikita covered up the object for the girl with trypophobia, honestly made me so happy.
I have trypophobia due to a time I had an adverse reaction to a prescription drug that caused me to see vivid hallucination of spiders crawling out of my skin and pores and the holes really freaked me out
Oh my.... that is not an image I needed in my head. I am so sorry you experienced that
oh my god yeah that would freaking do it
Jesus Christ I am so sorry you had to go through that
they're super brave to face their phobias i could never lol
We knew it
ua-cam.com/video/CeU_yksLSUE/v-deo.html
Same, I fear toads, frogs and I can't be not even six feet close to it
I have trypophobia and I feel like a big reason why most people (myself included) have it, could be that in many cases holes can be an indicator of illness or danger (if you've ever googled trypophobia, you have seen the pictures with the hands and the feet😷) and also for myself with a phobia of bees, the honeycomb pattern is really a double-wham for me.
Yes!! Same here about the honeycomb, I just cannot
1:37 the girl sniffing her hair is a mood.
I love how these people respected their phobias! I watched the one from 3 years ago and one in particular was not overall respectful like these people were. Love them all!!!
nikita is that wholesome dude at a party that gives you really good relationship advice but never talks about his own feelings
I love hearing Nikita talk, it's like free therapy.
Those people were very considerate for when the people had the phobia they would keep the phobia out of their way and comforted them was so sweet.
@@roxi3969I have a phobia of snakes. I could never face this phobia even for a million dollars. I was born with it - makes me think I was killed by one in another life
5:42 that's something I would do like just happily put it back in the box when someone is too scared to
3:40 ME TOO GIRL!! i understand you and you’re not alone . one time i tossed a knife when cutting watermelon because the seeds were extremely clustered 😭 i couldn’t do it , my sister had to do it for me .
The one guy was like “I have a all around fear of life” and proceeds to calmly handle everyone’s phobias 😂😂😂
Props to them lol
i have emetophobia as well and it is so horrible. more so the phobia from others, not myself.
I also have emetophobia and there’s a Reddit page that has helped a lot!!
emetophobia is the absolute worst. i can’t get over it and it’s been YEARS.
@@hewokittie same. My greatest fear is when others are sick- I've been lucky enough to have rarely been sick myself
@@baileydunton6142 please share!
Oh wow that must be difficult driving around your town seeing it. Damn
I have the BIGGEST trypophobia,everytime I see it I get goosebumps,anxiety,uncomfortable,rapid breathing,itchy,scared,panic attacks,weak,fear and shaking…..
So much better than the last phobia one- people seemed to want to know why people have phobias and *respect* that, rather than just using the session to scare or cure people
BIRDS! I'm so terrified of birds... mostly the ones that can fly.
THANK you!! 🐓🤢😵💫
I love finding your random comments on the cut 😂💕
@@thelemonpolice gotta let people know I’m out here for real 😂 stickin to the city to avoid all those farms back home 👀
Anything that can fly in my face is no beuno for me
Me too - absolutely terrified of them. Spiders, snakes, heights... All fine. But a pigeon? Terrifying.
Its simple, I see Nikita on the thumbnail and I click. Such wholesome energy, love the guy.
I have trypophobia and she does exactly what I do! I had to look away when they showed it but wow so cool to see someone else doing the same thing as me lol
Same here! I started to get goosebumps
i actually have done therapy sessions centered around this phobia. whenever i see holes i have to cover my eyes because if i look too long i will start to scratch my arms, legs, and face. people don’t understand it at all and it’s so frustrating
I have trypophobia but i felt nothing with this figure i literally have the same exact effects when i see smaller holes sticking together
I had to close the video when it came on bc I was not prepared. I wish they’d tell us the fear before showing it.
Props to every one of them. 🏆
When I was 6 and under, I feared nothing always down to do something crazy, loved meeting people. Almost 20 now and I'm practically riddled with anxiety, can't remember the last time I breathed and felt completely relaxed.
Love, light and compassion to you ♥️ ppl don’t understand how crippling anxiety can be man. I’ve lived with a literal weight on my chest for YEARS now! I totally understand you♥️
u need head
No bc same, and I ain't even 18 yet 😭 (I'm 17)

Cut producer: "Get closer!!" he just trying to get some content mahn😂😂
I have agoraphobia and explaining my phobia is extremely embarrassing for me, so I admire anyone that is willing to expose themselves like this
The second lady with the fear of the holes - bless her, she was so scared. I don't have that phobia but I think I can understand - something slightly unsettling about it.
love this series and everyone was so understanding about understanding the phobias and not pushing them past their limits love it!! way better than that guy from the other phobia video
the black guy immediately reacting the way he said he doesnt react is too funny. it was completely involuntary, he just did it
“I think I feel a lot of fear, generally”
That made me laugh so hard 😂
😂 same. i was like “oh hey! me too!”
they're so brave to handle their phobias if that was me, I already passed out 🤦🏻🤣 Watching from Philippines 💗😊
i’m glad the grey shirt guy wasn’t here. dude pissed me off

That's a slay! I'm proud
🤣🤣🤣
The bald guy is so respectful about peoples fears aw
