32:36. That is a push Bar at the very rear ! For a bulldozer. To push the sled ! The machine itself doesn’t have enough power. The 1:1 doesn’t have enough power. To cut through the dirt They’re made for a bulldozer to push them. That would be three or four and one unit and one bulldozer pusher I ran one about 25 years ago. I noticed that towards the end of the video. Looking great 👍

The belly scraper needs a push from the dozer. Anytime I've seen belly scrapers being used they always have a dozer to push. I'm an electronics tech and general fabricator. I'd love to build something for the show. I'm just on the other side of Halifax. My summers are busy with my in-law's stockcar racing and young son. I'm also messing around with some RC robot combat. But some time over the winter I should be able to build you something. Maybe some winches for the dredge or some scale thrusters.
Lordgarak have a question for you regarding remote control. I would like to build a custom machine but i’m not sure how to control it . Yes I could buy a multi channel transmitter and receiver but they are only rated for certain amps as you know. What do I do if I wanted to remotely control anything…., where do I start and what should I research. I can build anything but I don’t understand the electronic side of how to control it remotely. . For example on his floating dredge there is a full-size trolling motor. I’m sure the motor came with the transmitter from the factory as it is meant for bass fishing but what if it didn’t. Let’s say that motor could only be operated by hand. I feel like there must be some sort of way to build a circuit board that you could connect a receiver to that would operate relays but how! lol. Is it possible to use a standard rc car transmitter and use it to control any type of motor? I would like to learn the stuff so what should I start researching . Thanks!
You are right but that scraper has 2engines one in front and one in back most of the jobs I worked on had 2 or more on the front was a big latch it locked to the rear of another it pushed the forward scraper till it was full then it lifted the bowl and would pull the back scraper till it was full then the operator would unlock the hitch and go dump the most dangerous piece of equipment on any job site. The operator can only see a little in the front and a little on the left and very easy to roll over
Love G.O.L.D you guys look like you have a blast! The collection of equipment is so insane! Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve next!👍👍👍 Happy birthday to your Son Crazy how fast how fast they grow my kids are 16&13 seems like just yesterday they were born!!

32:36. That is a push Bar at the very rear ! For a bulldozer. To push the sled ! The machine itself doesn’t have enough power. The 1:1 doesn’t have enough power. To cut through the dirt
They’re made for a bulldozer to push them. That would be three or four and one unit and one bulldozer pusher
I ran one about 25 years ago.
I noticed that towards the end of the video. Looking great 👍
I am yelling with your call G.O.L.D.!!!!. This crew are great. Love them all.
Hello Jem, and your son.
You guys should do a indoor series like Loading Kings. After you get your place ready for winter that is. That will give the guys a lot of practice for next season of G.O.L.D. I can hardly wait. Maybe over winter you can build a bucket wheel excavator over the winter. For the seam mining. It would look awesome.
Love your shows. I wish you good health. You look much better.
G.O.L.D. forever!!!

Thanks for a great season. Enjoy your well earned time with your family. Winter is coming I can only imagine what it takes to get ready in Canada. I started my equipment career in the early 70’s plowing snow in a Cat 922A loader. That 922A had a gasoline engine.

Always enjoy your content! Hang in there troi I had 9 pulled a couple years ago! Awesome Team! My son turned 11 on the 4th and my daughter is turning 9 on the 17th. So big HAPPY BIRTHDAYTO YOUR SON!!. YOUR VIDEOS HAVE BEEN A MEDICINE TO ME MEDIC!
Or a pull... that's what the yoke on the front is for.
Can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve next!👍👍👍 Happy birthday to your
