- I have moved deep into the heart of Nova Scotia, Canada - in the hunt for golden riches.. I have heard the Gold is plentiful in these areas.. and yet, it has never been seriously mined. I am assembling a green crew of Gold (Good Ol' Lads Diggin') capable miners, who have little experience.. and they come cheap. In fact, they applied just for an opportunity to come and mine at the RCSparks Studio, for free. They don't call it a "Mine" for nothin'!

For those who are new viewers to a previous series I produced called "UA-cam GOLD" show - know this: This BRAND NEW SERIES called "GOLD" Gold Ol' Lads Diggin' - is a #Parody series based around the TV GOLD Shows that we all know and love: Gold Rush, YukonGold, Bering SeaGold all of these are shows that my friends and family enjoy seeing!
The true secret of this show - is nothing you see is "real", Most everything is staged, such as scenarios, acting out our characters, comedy.. etc.. In fact, we are not even working for efficiency, as we are a group of hobbyists who are more interested in entertaining our audience and using super cool radio control hobby equipment.. than "actually getting gold". A few of the things that are not staged is our friendship, the laughter, camaraderie, and of course.. THE REAL GOLD! The true Gold is the experience we get as friends, what we hope the viewers get watching a group of goofballs entertain them with some very cool toys. One mans hobby, is another's entertainment!

I've been in heavy plant maintenance since the early eighties and in mining since 2003. I've worked underground with continuous miners, drill rigs and longwalls, surface operations with both gravel-scratching and processing plants. This put such a massive smile on my face. I found these videos through your rock climbing videos, and I'm so glad I did. Most of this equipment I've worked on in real life. Thanks for the lulz.

i love seeing this type of series so happy that its back but i hope you don't stress yourself out with feeling like it has to be super fancy with lots of editing and staged bits and trying to do everything with rc a lot of stuff didn't work in this video and not to say it made the video bad i just got a feeling that you were getting a bit annoyed maybe. I just want you to have fun with your rc equipment and take us a long for the ride i would hate to see you loose interest or drive for this side of the rc hobby just because everyone demands youtube gold so much and its so much more work than other stuff and gets the most views i don't want you're fun to become more work than fun especially with everything you are going through i love your content man and i hope you stay happy, healthy, comfortable and unpressured to do what you love the way you want to and love to do it.
