I got pressure to get married after about 4 months. Basically, once she got me to tell my family and friends that we were dating, it was time to push for marriage. I delayed because I wanted to make sure that it was her desire, not her family's. It was time after a year. There was no doubt that it was the right person. It also has to be the right time

Listen, when you're a younger man say between 18-35 Generally we are taught that if you're for real about a woman it's better to spend 5 years with her before you consider marrying her. If you're 36+ That starts going down to as little as 1 year and if it's a really good match and you're spending A LOT of time together maybe even 6 months. This is why it's better to go for older guys. Just keep in mind the older guys who haven't had kids yet are probably still looking for women young enough to make that happen!

There is one problem with your thoughts, well two actually. One if it is the right time it is the right time but a woman's body clock is ticking. Even without cultural pressures a woman is eager to bear children and is naturally driven to do it when younger. Two, women marry not out of love but out of duty because it is what is expected from her mind and body, to have children. This is in any culture and courtship is usually two years. The pragmatic approach of Slavic women look from a perspective of mutual benefit. Hence why it appears they just want money. A man has to prove his worth to give her security. But I have known Slavic women marry after a month. I will say after a 7 year courtship, 25 years of marriage and 3 years of divorce. No-one ever knows a woman's mind. Not even women.

Is the woman ready to be married? Has she done the personal wirk to make herself healthy enough to be what a man desires in his wife. So it is possible for the courtship to go beyond 1 year depending on her effort to grow and the amount if work needed to be the woman she needs to be

@AnnaSeven 100% agree. I took the angle I did because your topic was from the woman's point of view about popping the question and my experience of dating ukrainian ladies. I've had several ladies that wanted to get married but they were not ready to show up in the relationship and do the personal work to make the relationship mutually beneficial.
Guys that come onto this site are ready to get married that's what this is all about. Women that are on this site they know they're looking to get married. Therefore the marriage proposal would probably a lot quicker but I do think there should be at least a 6-month courtship. After all there is an adventure in getting to know one another and doing things with one another. This is definitely part of the courtship. Even during wartime. So I believe that gentleman to come on here need to be ready to propose 6 months and get married within a year. ✅ ✅ ✅ That should be the standard because all parties know they're looking to get married. Amen 😇😇😇

@@AnnaSeven except men don't get to choose. If we choose love, the woman will probably change her mind in 4 years and pull the rug out from under us. And really the choice isn't fear OR love, it's love AND fear combined, or peace. Which is why a lot of men are choosing peace.
