*Really* liking these videos... I'm obsessed with bass fishing, although I don't get out enough, and I'm confined to the bank - but I'm soaking up all this *great* knowledge, and put it to use every time I do get out... I've caught a lot more fish on things I've never used before - like jigs! Hardly ever want to use anything else now... got a lot more watchin' to do! Thanks, Karl!
Thanks for the kind words buddy. Tournament fishing has changed a lot in Ontario over the past 10 years or so. If you really want to make money fishing them, you have to go south and fish Pro Ams, FLW or BASS events otherwise, your just investing time and money in a weekend hobby. Club events are another option for sharing info and having fun on the water.
Karl Is great, he really knows what he's doing, he's talking about how to catch fish and then he actually puts what he's saying into action and catches great numbers and sizes of bass. Do you Ever fish any tournaments in Ontario at all?
Did I watch this already?.. never gets old. It's like he puts me in a trance. Everytime I hit the water and see a down tree I gotta try it. Theirs just something about it. It never gets old
@Benoit Auger- north eastern Ontario; we would certainly enjoy coming to the French River district in the near future and offer tips for finding and catching bass, we`ll see what we can do, thanks for watching.
Thank you for the timely response and great advice. I know what you mean about investing time and money into a weekend hobby. I was in the CBAF in 2010 as a non-boater and that got expensive very quickly. because I had to pay Gas money on top of tournament entry fees and club membership. Love the show! I am going to subscribe! Thanks Again, Tim Stewart
Our show is a lot more about education and entertainment than the smoke and mirror acts you see on most others...glad we could assist and thanks for watching.
I bet a lot of those bigger bass suspend over deep water in clear water; I would suggest trying the drop shot method and use your electronics to locate any suspended fish and try to place your bait in the same depth and fish slow using very subtle shaking movements of your rod tip; the NEW Strike King Dream shot bait is perfect for this, good luck.
Hey Karl love the show and tips u have to offer! I live in NJ were bass fishing is tough! it took me a while to start catching numbers of fish, i have accomplished that no doubt, i catch loots of bass but not many big ones. i only have 2 5lbers for the year. We have this huge sand quarry that i like to fish, it has GIANT bass in it no doubt and probably a state record. it gets to 60ft in some spots. I have caught TONS of 1lb bass, any tips on hooking the bigger badder bass!!?? the water is CLEAR
What lake is this? Would love to see you come up more north to lake Nipissing! French River bass are a great time and I'd love to hear some tips on the region. Great videos! Always fun to watch!
Yep thats what i thought would work, used a drop shot with a fluke and caught many fish just not too big. I guess i just have to locate them! Thanks for the tips!
I've had that happen time and time again. flip it out there, hit the trolling motor and BAM! One hits it. I have a question, Did thou buy that boat old or is it a new one? I love the way out sits in the water. looks like an older boat with a bit of upgrades.
+Brian Postma You watched them all? if so, 'thank you'. The new seasons for Extreme Angler & Krappie Kings begins end of December across N. America on TV
when its windy like that i use a spinner /crank / or chatter bait cover more water and when i dial it in thats when i fanes with soft plastic its the best way to cover a new body of water
What size weight are you using in this video? Do you change weights when your fishing the banks, weeds and docks? (Jig or sliding lead). Thanks for all the good information, Tony
How you guys do this without loosing a lure on every other cast is beyond me. Even with 25lb braid and a 40lb mono leader, I loose at least 2 sometimes 3 baits (jigs, Texas, Carolina, doesn't matter what I throw) in a few hours due to getting hung up. I've even hung up topwater. lol
George Brandon I'm with you on this! I've lose some of my nicer lures do to them damn snags! In areas that r similar to what he's mentioning (close to the bank)
***** I mean I know snags and lost lures are a part of this game, but all of these shows that I watch they go like at least 15 minutes to a half hour without any snags and it doesn't seem to be an editing out issue. In the time of this show, I woulda lost at least 4 lures. lol
George Brandon I`m sure most people don`t want to watch snags but rather the information offered on how to locate and catch fish; trust me, I snag up a lot but if I want to catch bigger fish, I have to fish in the locations where they live, so yes, snags are very common.

Very detailed about how to find and fish for bass. Subbing!

I have several different models, but polarized eyewear is a must.

lots of upgrades and is my girl! Large casting decks, livewells and tons of storage space and I am set, regardless of the age.
I usually start largemouth fishing around 7-8:00 am and finish up most days around 2-4 pm.
Love the videos Karl!!!!! Keep up the great work buddy. But damn I don't know how u were able to fish a bank in that wind without any power poles.
I have two Power Poles on my boat now, lol. Thanks for watching.
Also, what time of day do you start fishing and when do you pack it in?
awesome video love them thanks
+martin rivera thanks for watching

What size weight are you using in this video? Do you change weights when your fishing the banks, weeds and docks? (Jig or sliding lead). Thanks for all the good information, Tony
depends on depth and speed of fall I choose disfferent sizes tungsten weights from 3/16 to 3/8 most of the time; thanks for watching
what polarized eyewear do you wear? S11's?
fish the steps that lead to deeper water with strike king game hawgs and casting gear or burn spinnerbaits horizontally along the edges
what action rod were you using in this show?
Alex Cowlthorp most times H or MH depending on size of baits and cover Im fishing
I'd love to go fishing with you! I ain't workin' with the gear you are tho! Just being honest. I love you!
would like to see you use the rooster lure too.
we shot a segment with the Rage Smokin` Rooster as part of the NEW season episodes for this channel. Stay tuned for upload.
ur pro!
im fishing a river that has a step bank with rocks and the water is only six feet deep, any suggestions
Try a Need rig on light flouro. Fish it as slowly as you can, then... slow it down some more.
Are you near the French river?
not in this video

***** I get snagged a lot trust me; its part of the game when chasing bigger fish, especially bass
ExtremeAnglerTV - Do you lose any of your lures due to these snags and how many?
largemouth tend to move deeper in the banks when windy
