Fellow musicians, in this tutorial, I will be using the Contrabass Flute sound to create the background music. The Contrabass Flute is a unique instrument, and I highly recommend that you consider keeping it as an asset for composing background music.
As someone who allows procrastination and blocks to stop creativity, this is one of the most amazing things I've experienced. what a fantastic way to start on idea. The music literally tells a story. (And I'm a Reaper user, so this is a double bonus!!) Thank you. 感谢您分享您的技能和喜悦。
I particularly enjoyed the sound effects notes that you incorporated based on the stars' positions. It would have been great to listen to that track on its own. Interesting cosmic composition.
Awesome work! (sorry for the following unsolicited advice 😇🙏) Just some general tips I want to share with everyone if y'all don't mind, Alt + Num2 or Num8 is a great shortcut to move selected notes in the MIDI editor an octave up or down. Also ctrl + arrow keys are sometimes useful for moving selected notes, either left or right (how far it moves is dictated by grid setting), or up and down a semitone (unless key snapping is turned on). And I also highly recommend to anyone who works with MIDI a lot to look up "Seventh Sam How To Set Up REAPER's MIDI Editor for Better Workflow". But especially for anyone here that deals with many tracks, a large mock up orchestra with per track instrument articulations. Reaper is great because it can be bent to anyone's will far more than any other DAW could ever hope to. But its default MIDI workflow is a common complaint of producers/composers without realizing it can be changed in many ways, so that is why a I'm sharing this here. Anyways, great video, definitely subscribing!
A very interesting approach to composing the music. I did wonder how much you had thought about the composition before you tried to work on it for the video, as it seems like you're just laying it down. And I've gained a few tips on how to use the accenting - I really thought pro musicians were changing them as they played live. All the plugins looked really good quality.
Thanks for your comment. I did put a lot of time brainstorming and coming up with the main melody in my mind. I cleaned up my workflow, for the purpose of the tutorial so it's simpler and more concise for my audience to watch. In real life projects can be very fast paced, and I've trained myself to work efficiently and fast speed 😊
@@renakmans3521 Logic works pretty well on iMac, I've used logic before I switched to Reaper. Reaper is more customizable and better for sound design. But essentially all Draws are similar, and if you've started using one DAW, no need to switch to another :)

Such an awesome breakdown. Quick question, which library are you using for this Contrabass Flute?

Does Logix do essentially the same thing you’re doing with placing notes? Or is Reaper better? Great videos!
