I worked with people with Downs syndrome and I spoke say they usuall reply "yes" when getting compliments, or yes say they're good at stuff. Very common in my experience.

This is sad because most of us will never find something this pure and good with normies who take everything for granted. While I'm sure it isn't easy being downs or autistic, they are both blessed by God and found each other and a pure love. I myself strive to be able to be this happy. God bless these two.
I am dating a handicapped person (he's 30 yo, but he has ~10 years left to live), i can 100% confirm that i wouldnt meet anything like this among healthy people for the very reason that you mentioned. Too sad healthy people do not appreciate what they have. I dont blame them, they just dont know what its like not to waste time on nerves, scandals, but just enjoy every day next to your partner while he is still alive and be grateful. I wish people could learn this without such experience, but meh, who am i kidding...?

Both their parents did an amazing job with them. Teaching them love and independence. It’s so easy to want to protect a child w/ issues so no one hurts them but these parents did the right things to get them where they are.

She has so much patience with him, you can tell she was getting annoyed when he talked over her, but she handled it like a champ! She will make a wonderful mom. And dang, his love for her is so sweet and strong. What a lovely couple, I want that kind of love!
My husband has autism and it can be very difficult. I tend to interrupt too. I never noticed until now that he too blurts but so does our son with ADHD. Interesting.

Thank you so much for talking to them like they're adults and not treating them like kids. Often disabled people are talked to as if they are small children and as an autistic person myself I've experienced that a lot 🙄 Like, yes, we're disabled but we're not toddlers 🤷🏻♀️
Yes this. My boss sometimes talks to me like I’m a little kid. I’m 31, not 3. She can talk in a normal voice, I will understand her. Instead sometimes she talks in this syrupy tone that you’d use on a small child.

Like a minute in and I'm getting all misty. All us _normal_ folks are always finding ways to be miserable and unhappy. Meanwhile Jason looks at Chloe the way most people look when they find out they just won the lottery. I think what I love most about your channel is that while the people you feature no doubt face adversity a lot more than the rest of us, they're typically very positive. Really lifts my spirits.

Can we talk about how good at guitar he is?? I haven't seen anyone mention that yet but omg he has such musical skill. Also he talks with so much excitement about his wife and just wants to keep going nonstop that it makes me genuinely think his wife is his special interest which is the cutest thing ever. He's so completely obsessed and happy with her its so sweet :')
It seems that guitar is one of his special gifts. He is amazing! I hope he is in a band or writes an album. I could see him rocking the banjo too. Really talented.
That blew me away!!! I became that guy for those few seconds before, during, and after he started to play. It was easy for me to zoom in on his brain when he played. It was like he was me when I was tripping..... He is tuned into the spirit of the same life. But actually I think I heard in the beginning of the video he had mastered 5 instruments.
He uses the word "magical" when describing how he feels about her. How priceless is that? We all should appreciate our significant other as much as they appreciate each other. These two definitely complete each other & seem to balance each other out. Beyond priceless!

It’s like being “normal” is just not expressing yourself, and keeping it all in. He keeps nothing inside, he expresses every feeling and thought. I think this is an awesome gift.

I'm not autist (i believe) but I use to read this book once a month just to keep my social skills at 10/10 it's called "How To Win Friends and Influence People " by Dale Carnegie i really really recommend it to everyone it's super useful for interacting with people maybe that can help you

That was my favorite part too! And i though it was very intelligent to put it that way. He was describing peace and when we meditate etc. We can hear the “buzz” we are in peace and we dont have racing thoughts that prevent us from hearing the simple sounds of our environment

Chloe could easily go into acting and modeling. She’s gorgeous and has a wonderful energy that’s a joy to watch. Of course he’s so crazy about Chole, she’s amazing. I really do thing their relationship is good, but like, whats the point of this episode? It just seems like a bunch of productions treating a group of adults in the same way you'd treat kindergarteners. It's obvious that they don't see them as equal or as the same level, they're "Adorable" and "quirky" almost as if they're just some token display of acceptance. They obviously didn't write this episode or recording with any other intent than holding token value by saying "look how accepting and progressive we are, we're filming a couple just because they're both disabled, wow we're so amazing" and don't even realize that in doing that and specifically targeting them for it, it just makes it less valuable. That’s awesome! I have a question for you though, being that you can somewhat relate. Do you think having children would be a responsible thing for them to do? This couple obviously needs help right? Therefore if they need assistance in their own day to day lives, how can they properly care for children? In addition to the fact that they will likely pass on the handful of health issues that they have unto their children.

@@debraacofmanthegoat6890 I think there is a greater risk to have biological children for the both of them but I don't think them having children is impossible just risky but as far as adoption I feel like they would be amazing and fun parents especially once the husband is able to calm down and they budget better and have all the priorities in order.

I would so enjoy being friends with them. They're raw and real and obviously loving people.. and I could identify with certain aspects of their personalities (he's eccentric, joyfully in love, and giddily talkative, while she pours a lot of thought into the future and kind of "dissecting" personalities and emotional needs to understand them and build from there). They're genuinely, unapologetically themselves and I wish them the absolute best in life. They're lucky to have each other.

I did social work for 15 years. I’ve worked with every kind of couple there is. These two are just…fantastic! They have such a pure love for each other. It makes my heart swell to see them light each other up. This is what a relationship should be. Patient, gentle, sweet, kind, compassionate, loving, adoring. All of the things. My deepest and dearest wish for everyone in the world is to have a love like this. And the best part is their communication. They’re so open, that is so important! This couple is so in love. So heartfelt and pure. My 24 yo son has Down Syndrome and is autistic and he has a girlfriend who is autistic and has seizure disorder. Neither one are as high functioning as this couple so I don’t see a future like theirs but you never know. ❤️

They're so honest and straightforward, they have no fear. It feels like everything nowadays is about image and appearance, about controlling how other people perceive you. It's refreshing, and actually quite a bit shocking, how somehow raw they are and how at peace they are with it. I can't imagine such a pure connection.
