DR Congo: Inside a center specializing in trauma surgery and post-op care

Over the past few weeks, we’ve observed a resurgence of violent attacks in Ituri Province, resulting in a significant number of civilian casualties.
Since the conflict began in 1997, over 1.6 million people have been forced to flee their homes and now live in #displacement - this number represents one-third of the total population of the province.
We’re continuing to treat the influx of patients arriving daily with complex physical traumas, but more support is urgently needed.
