That wasn't our impression of the text at all, but we appreciate you sharing. Do you mind us asking if you have the Calf Split or Goatskin Edition? Thanks again.
Great review. I have both this and the turquoise. Both are excellent bibles. Wish KJV store made their version of a turquoise.. no cross references ;-)
@@TheKJVStore another idea - A premium - companion to the note takers. Same page numbers and sized similar to the canterbury/turquoise/topaz etc... $200-230 price point 👌🏾👌🏾. Lord's will 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thank you for your excellent review of the Topaz KJV. Whether calf split leather, calfskin, or goatskin, Cambridge bindings are second to none. I have found that the calf split binding, while stiff at first, softens nicely with use and feels wonderful when held in one hand - not too firm, but not floppy either. BTW... it seems that the familiar Cambridge KJV royal crest normally seen on the spine of Cambridge KJV bibles (just above the Cambridge logo) does not appear on the Topaz KJV. Could I be missing something?
And thank you for your excellent comments about the Topaz. We're glad to hear that in your opinion, any Cambridge binding option is great. That's actually a good catch on the spine text and spine artwork on the Topaz, and I'm sorry we did a poor job of showing the spine on this video. You can somewhat see at the 35:09 mark: ua-cam.com/video/JkcD4LpchsM/v-deo.htmlsi=kfJO0mN5PuQbJizW&t=2109 that on the Topaz they just put a single block letter word "CAMBRIDGE". Which yes, does appear to be a departure from the royal crest / seal that appears on most Cambridge Bibles. As seen on the Turquoise video at the 1:20 mark: ua-cam.com/video/M58r3J_MBiA/v-deo.htmlsi=5lmWJtPb7PMrNH0y&t=80 We're not sure why they changed that on the Topaz. God Bless.
That is one of my dream KJV Cambridge! One that I cannot afford though. How I wish! Very beautiful KJV!
We agree, both editions are beautiful. Thanks for your comment.
I have one. The text is too thin for me, not dark or bold enough.

Beautiful design-but I'm a turquoise fan, the bigger print works better for my eyes.
Thanks for your comment.

Hmm, so you would like text only (no references) in a Turquoise sized and style font? We'll keep that in mind, thanks so much.
@@TheKJVStore absolutely!

With or without the wide margins of the note taker's? We assume without, as a smaller bible couldn't accommodate them. Thanks.
without the wide
