- Shifu Kanishka( Shi Yanyou) demonstrating Combat Application of section 1of Da Hong Quan.
History- Zhao kuanying later the first emperor of Song Dynasty (960 -1279) gave shaolin temple notes on combat style that he trained.
Later Shaolin monks modified one of his combat style and developed Shaolin Da Hong Quan ( Big Flood Fist).
Combat Strategy-
It involves continuous flood of sweeping moves of arms and legs as offense to counter the offense of opponet to protect yourself.

I love how shifu is always calm and concentrated in the videos and seems like a gentle person but at the same time he is fast and fluent with his moves and can totally destroy his opponent.

Man, I love how you fused the modern helmet guard into your Shaolin Quan. I did the same with our school's Choy Lee Fut Kung Fu. We have a very similar Philosophy.

At 3:30, a jab to the stomach and a right hook to the face will easily land. Also, while your hands are up, someone can kick your ribs or stomach. But it could work against a boxer.
