My grandpa is one of the guys who used to teach stick fighting (arnis) to guerillas during world war 2 but instead guerillas bring with them bolos not stick. This was instrumental in slaughtering japanese in jungle close combat and night ambush during the war. He told me about this everytime we talk about his past experience. The main essence of this FMA is to kill the opponents so it is really awkward seeing kids being trained in bladed weapon offensive attack. Please stay on stick fighting and bare hand combat for kids. Salamat.
