YES I’m loving this! Facetheory is one of those brands that I love because their products are SO multifunctional - a fair few of their products didn’t work for my skin which is a shame but a holy grail is their Mandelbright Serum which is a 10% Mandelic Acid serum with niacinamide and other skin benefiting extracts like green tea, chamomile and liquorice! Absolutely adore it - always advise friends looking to use a gentle AHA to go for this one. Absolutely loved the video as always (and I think I speak on behalf of everyone when I say we absolutely DO NOT MIND and actively love it when you fangirl and get carried away🤣)

Absolutely my fave brand! No denat. alc, fragrance, essential oils, dyes, etc. I use their cleanser, face wash, serums (especially the dragon blood one), moisturisers (5 different ones depending on my needs), and 2 face masks. Oh and 2 toners which I think should be rebranded as essences based on their ingredients and consistency), and a lip balm. Couldn't use the blue label cleanser, as my skin couldn't handle it, but the orange C one is perfect. So glad you love this brand too x

I live in the US and I definitely cant get the 15%, not sure if it’s comparable but i have been using Face Theory’s Luminzela Azelaic Acid 10% for about 2 months now and can already see an improvement with my rosacea. Combine with the amil c whip moisturizer and anti-redness toner I’ve been using for 6+ months. These products are miracle workers, ride or die products i will never let go of! I really didn’t like the clarifying cleanser, I found that it smelt awful, felt goopy and it started to go mouldy before I could use it all! I also found the super gel far too sticky and made no difference to my acne. :( However, I really really loved the porebright serum- made such a difference to my pores. Amil-C whip moisturiser SPF 20 is gorgeous, just wish the SPF was higher! And one that’s not mentioned in this video- Regina C moisturiser pro. It has retinol in it so I use it at night, it’s the BEST! :)

I've been using Facetheory for about 5 months now and they have helped my oily and acne prone skin so much. I get far less spots and the ones I get are not inflamed and angry like they always have been!

@@kate7358 It's not bad, but it's not my favorite. It's a super lightweight gel with a water texture when spread on the skin. It had a dewy finish and is not very occlusive (so it doesn't hold in moisture). It also has a weird texture sometimes -- very thin in some areas and almost clumpy in others. I've asked other people in the MAS Facebook group and they've experienced it too. I was hoping some of the more unique ingredients (like salicylic acid and lactic acid) would be noticeable, but I think the percentages are too low. In the end, I always forget to use it and keep going back to the IUNIK Centella Gel, Rovectin Clean Lotus, or Malezia 5% Urea Moisturizer instead.

Thanks for these Face Theory videos, they are really helpful. I've been using a couple of products for a year or so now and it's lovely. But tbh, I'm never sure I am using it all right and at the right time, with the right technique etc. I mean I'm familiar with 'cleanse, tone and moisturise' but there is so much more to skincare nowadays that its a minefield! I did my first order of Facetheory but I’m still waiting for it (Brexit effect I suppose ...) but what I liked is that the site explains the products very well. The ordinary shows the ingredients but it it less clear what is it for, how to use etc. So you are easily lost ... On the contrary, the site of Facetheory gives you a lot more information so you can understand the advantages of each product. NB love your fan girling 🤩 and I used your code so thank you 🙏

Could it be a better option for someone with redness but sensitive skin (so a bit scared of trying the azeclair serum as you say it can be a bit sensitizing)? Or should I consider combining both? 🤔 (this can be very confusing hahah)

I love love the cleanser. Been using the standard one and feel absolutely satisfied after cleansing my face with it. It’s gentle and yet, removes dead skin. Doesn’t leave my skin feeling parched. Also been using the pore bright serum and I love it. It takes a little bit of time (1-2 weeks) to see the effects and I’m sure with consistent usage, the effects will be remarkable

Hi friend! I love your videos and energy. I decided to try the Face Theory SuperGel Moisturizer and I woke up with small red dots everywhere! My face also stings. :( I never used a gel moisturizer and my skin is very oily. I think the texture is what my face didn't like. Any alternative suggestions? My skin really liked Imperalis from Lush which I used for two years. But I'm trying to bump my game up. Thank you!

Hi Rob! I am using the clarifying cleanser (pro version with sarponins) and find the "tingle" to be quite strong. So, I can't use it every day and have to wash it off fairly quickly. However, I do like it because my skin feels so soft when I use it (I have dry, slightly sensitive skin)! Absolutely love the amil-c whip and green tea clay mask! I used to use cotton rounds to apply some products but thanks to you I’ve stopped and just use my hands. I love my products so much and want to use it all up and not waste any on having it absorbed by cloths. 🥰. The Azeclear serum is gorgeous. Again, I only found it thanks to you xxxxxxxxx

Your skin looks fab so it must be working! The only downside of Facetheory (for me) is that the creams and serums I've tried so far have this super sticky consistency, and the stickiness doesn't go away for a good few hours... That being said, their products really helped me when I had eczema.
I just started using their Regenacalm 2% retinol serum yesterday, how often do you recommend using it please? I'm 23 and don’t have problem skin, I just started using retinol for anti-aging benefits.xx

Hi Rob - despite all the "fangirling" I haven't tried facetheory as yet. I am considering it though. I noted they have a sensitive skin moisturiser on the site, that doesn't seem to be available the couple of times I have looked. I always like the concept of multifunctional products, but my skin doesn't seem to due to hypersensitivity unfortunately. Tbh that's what has held me back so far - my skin hates vitamin c which seems to be in so many things they have. I might order the oatmeal toner, the eco pads and perhaps a moisturiser to try from them. I am considering the azelaic acid serum, as I've used 10% before and the derivatives without any irritation, My rosacea probably needs to step up the strength and I'm reluctant to bother my GP (for a prescription product) for something that isn't serious due to covid etc. I'll let you know how i get on. Best wishes. ps I tried the altruist face fluid spf over the weekend with mixed results. No stinging/burning on application and no real irritation noted, but it was drying by the end of the day. This was over numerous layers of skincare including a very hydrating moisuriser. It's the mineral spf ingredients I think. I'm so sensitive to the drying effects of zinc and titanium dioxide. It may work better for me in the warmer months though, as it wasn't actually irritating - the hunt continues.x

I randomly took a chance on this brand cuz of sale they were having but also i was impressed by the ingredients and packaging. And affordable!! It has been life changing for my face! One of the cleansers i got did not work for me but its trial and error. I use the Vitamin C cream cleanser. Love it. I have combo skin so great for me. The Clearifying Cleanser is in my cart now! Also the gel moisturizer.
Hi Rob, the Glycolacsal Solution T4 toner would you recommend using this for the body? as I have acne on my back. I saw a cream version but this has fragrance in it which I want to avoid. Or do you think a toner from the ordinary will be better? x

I’ve been using The Ordinary Niacinimide 10% + Zinc 1% and the Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion but I’m excited to give these Facetheory products a try because they have SO many other ingredients in there that just sounds amazing and I was shocked that they aren’t even expensive! So hoping to swap TO products for the FT ones and see how it goes!

I’ve been using the clarifying cleanser, super-gel moisturizer, and pore bright serum twice a day for the past two weeks. I own the regenacalm pro serum as well as paulas choice 2% BHA exfoliator. Should I use the regenacalm pro serum with the exfoliator at night? Or should I use the 2 serums and exfoliator all together at night?
I know this is an older video but hopefully you will see this. I'm simplifying and streamlining my routine. I actually have the Regena C Pro moisturizer. So far I like it, with it I combined my retinol, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, moisturizer and others in one step; and it is very moisturizing for something that contains retinol. Now I would really like to find a good AHA cleanser that's fragrance free and I'm wondering about that Facetheory Clarifying Cleanser. After using it for so long do you think it is suitable for dry sensitive skin? If not do you have another in mind? L'Oreal Revitalift doesn't contain fragrance but it does contain menthol which is a no-go for sensitive skin. I'm currently using Cetaphil Healthy Radiance PHA Cleanser, it's very gentle and pleasant but it doesn't really do anything other than cleanse.

Love their products! Although like you wasn't fussed about the Vit C cleanser even though it was still nice. Is it just me that can't get their Regenacalm 3% out the bottle though?
I bought the Amil C whip without SPF but I feel like it is too rich for me and it is clogging my pores. I got a few of those little white heads after a few days of use. Also on my cheeks where I normally don’t break out (normally I break out on my chin and jawline). Did you also experience that? And do you use it every day/night? I also purchased the oil-free moisturizer, I think that is less rich and my skin does not react to that.
Oh no! I think you've misssed their lip balm!! My #1 lip balm is the Summer Friday's and #2 is definitely Face Theory's lip balm!! It's super thick and lasts long! Both of these are ofcourse vegan ✨💞 Yaaaaas...I love their international shipping, and actually it didn't take too long for them to reach me in Australia!

Hi there, I've been watching a lot of skin care videos. I have roseacea and its my whole face I find wearing face masks are making it very Red. I have no choice as they are mandatory at work. I've been using Bioderma Redness reduction cream for about a week now along with azealic acid and a very gentle face cleanser, and sun screen. So I assume I'm doing everything right as my acne is finally improving on my forehead. Sorry I am saying way too much here. How long does it generally take to see the redness improve. I was told up to 8 weeks? Please help me out if you have an answer Thanks

I am currently using some of the inkey list serums and they are working so far but I wanted to branch around and I think I might order some from this brand when I'm almost out of products! They certainly have a lot of things in just one product so it would save me some layering.
I have a question about the clarifying cleanser. It exfoliates from what I undestood or it has exfoliating agents. But you can't overexfoliate 'cause it will 'cause damages to the skin so does it mean that I can't use this cleanser everyday?

Used .ca 20 products from them. All are quite sticky on my oily skin but I love their cleansers, vit c serum, azelaic acid, retinol serums. Did not get on with that moisturizer you showed. Ok for night time but way to sticky. Their pore bright series and amil c whip broke me out. Six months long.

YES I’m loving this! Facetheory is one of those brands that I love because their products are SO multifunctional - a fair few of their products didn’t work for my skin which is a shame but a holy grail is their Mandelbright Serum which is a 10% Mandelic Acid serum with niacinamide and other skin benefiting extracts like green tea, chamomile and liquorice! Absolutely adore it - always advise friends looking to use a gentle AHA to go for this one. Absolutely loved the video as always (and I think I speak on behalf of everyone when I say we absolutely DO NOT MIND and actively love it when you fangirl and get carried away🤣)

Absolutely my fave brand! No denat. alc, fragrance, essential oils, dyes, etc. I use their cleanser, face wash, serums (especially the dragon blood one), moisturisers (5 different ones depending on my needs), and 2 face masks. Oh and 2 toners which I think should be rebranded as essences based on their ingredients and consistency), and a lip balm.
Couldn't use the blue label cleanser, as my skin couldn't handle it, but the orange C one is perfect.

I've been vegan for several years now and when I decided to start my skincare journey, it was a priority for to me to find a brand that was cruelty free, vegan and environmentally sustainable: Facetheory ticks all the boxes and it's doing wonders for my skin! I live in the US and I definitely cant get the 15%, not sure if it’s comparable but i have been using Face Theory’s Luminzela Azelaic Acid 10% for about 2 months now and can already see an improvement with my rosacea. I really didn’t like the clarifying cleanser, I found that it smelt awful, felt goopy and it started to go mouldy before I could use it all! I also found the super gel far too sticky and made no difference to my acne. :(
However, I really really loved the porebright serum- made such a difference to my pores. Amil-C whip moisturiser SPF 20 is gorgeous, just wish the SPF was higher! And one that’s not mentioned in this video- Regina C moisturiser pro. It has retinol in it so I use it at night, it’s the BEST! :)
Super gel moisturizer is not only sticky but also gritty 😭 It’s super uncomfortable and pills right off, even when it’s by itself on the skin.

I've been using Facetheory for about 5 months now and they have helped my oily and acne prone skin so much. I get far less spots and the ones I get are not inflamed and angry like they always have been!

@@kate7358 It's not bad, but it's not my favorite. It's a super lightweight gel with a water texture when spread on the skin. It had a dewy finish and is not very occlusive (so it doesn't hold in moisture). It also has a weird texture sometimes -- very thin in some areas and almost clumpy in others. I've asked other people in the MAS Facebook group and they've experienced it too. I was hoping some of the more unique ingredients (like salicylic acid and lactic acid) would be noticeable, but I think the percentages are too low. In the end, I always forget to use it and keep going back to the IUNIK Centella Gel, Rovectin Clean Lotus, or Malezia 5% Urea Moisturizer instead.

Thanks for these Face Theory videos, they are really helpful. I've been using a couple of products for a year or so now and it's lovely. But tbh, I'm never sure I am using it all right and at the right time, with the right technique etc. I mean I'm familiar with 'cleanse, tone and moisturise' but there is so much more to skincare nowadays that its a minefield! I did my first order of Facetheory but I’m still waiting for it (Brexit effect I suppose ...) but what I liked is that the site explains the products very well. The ordinary shows the ingredients but it it less clear what is it for, how to use etc. So you are easily lost ... On the contrary, the site of Facetheory gives you a lot more information so you can understand the advantages of each product. NB love your fan girling 🤩 and I used your code so thank you 🙏

What do you think of the Exaglow serum (in case you tried it)? Could it be a better option for someone with redness but sensitive skin (so a bit scared of trying the azeclair serum as you say it can be a bit sensitizing)? Or should I consider combining both? 🤔 (this can be very confusing hahah)

I love love the cleanser. Been using the standard one and feel absolutely satisfied after cleansing my face with it. It’s gentle and yet, removes dead skin. Doesn’t leave my skin feeling parched. Also been using the pore bright serum and I love it. It takes a little bit of time (1-2 weeks) to see the effects and I’m sure with consistent usage, the effects will be remarkable

Hi friend! I love your videos and energy. I decided to try the Face Theory SuperGel Moisturizer and I woke up with small red dots everywhere! My face also stings. :( I never used a gel moisturizer and my skin is very oily. I think the texture is what my face didn't like. Any alternative suggestions? Hi Rob! I am using the clarifying cleanser (pro version with sarponins) and find the "tingle" to be quite strong. So, I can't use it every day and have to wash it off fairly quickly. However, I do like it because my skin feels so soft when I use it (I have dry, slightly sensitive skin)! Absolutely love the amil-c whip and green tea clay mask! I used to use cotton rounds to apply some products but thanks to you I’ve stopped and just use my hands. I love my products so much and want to use it all up and not waste any on having it absorbed by cloths. 🥰.

Your skin looks fab so it must be working! The only downside of Facetheory (for me) is that the creams and serums I've tried so far have this super sticky consistency, and the stickiness doesn't go away for a good few hours... That being said, their products really helped me when I had eczema.

Hi Rob - despite all the "fangirling" I haven't tried facetheory as yet. I am considering it though. I noted they have a sensitive skin moisturiser on the site, that doesn't seem to be available the couple of times I have looked. I always like the concept of multifunctional products, but my skin doesn't seem to due to hypersensitivity unfortunately. Tbh that's what has held me back so far - my skin hates vitamin c which seems to be in so many things they have. I might order the oatmeal toner, the eco pads and perhaps a moisturiser to try from them. I am considering the azelaic acid serum, as I've used 10% before and the derivatives without any irritation, My rosacea probably needs to step up the strength and I'm reluctant to bother my GP (for a prescription product) for something that isn't serious due to covid etc. I'll let you know how i get on. Best wishes.
ps I tried the altruist face fluid spf over the weekend with mixed results. No stinging/burning on application and no real irritation noted, but it was drying by the end of the day. This was over numerous layers of skincare including a very hydrating moisuriser. It's the mineral spf ingredients I think. I'm so sensitive to the drying effects of zinc and titanium dioxide. It may work better for me in the warmer months though, as it wasn't actually irritating - the hunt continues.x

I randomly took a chance on this brand cuz of sale they were having but also i was impressed by the ingredients and packaging. And affordable!! It has been life changing for my face! One of the cleansers i got did not work for me but its trial and error. I use the Vitamin C cream cleanser. Love it. I have combo skin so great for me. The Clearifying Cleanser is in my cart now! Also the gel moisturizer.

which clarifying cleanser is better for the waterproof sunscreens?

I’ve been using the clarifying cleanser, super-gel moisturizer, and pore bright serum twice a day for the past two weeks. I own the regenacalm pro serum as well as paulas choice 2% BHA exfoliator. Should I use the regenacalm pro serum with the exfoliator at night? Or should I use the 2 serums and exfoliator all together at night?
I know this is an older video but hopefully you will see this. I'm simplifying and streamlining my routine. I actually have the Regena C Pro moisturizer. So far I like it, with it I combined my retinol, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, moisturizer and others in one step; and it is very moisturizing for something that contains retinol.
Now I would really like to find a good AHA cleanser that's fragrance free and I'm wondering about that Facetheory Clarifying Cleanser. After using it for so long do you think it is suitable for dry sensitive skin? If not do you have another in mind? L'Oreal Revitalift doesn't contain fragrance but it does contain menthol which is a no-go for sensitive skin. I'm currently using Cetaphil Healthy Radiance PHA Cleanser, it's very gentle and pleasant but it doesn't really do anything other than cleanse.
What is the consistency of each toner? Which one works best for oily skin? Love your reviews btw 🥰

Do you think the clarifying cleanser would be too strong while using Tretinoin? I tried lactic acid, but it was too sensitizing while on tret.
mate I use the ordinary niacinamide in my morning & night routine, how would that fit in with using this toner? I know it includes niacinamide aswell so how would that work for me do you know? (Would be wanting to use the toner morning & night) nice 1!

Hi Rob. I have been using the cleanser, the first week my skin was burning, I continued to use it, but my skin broke out, I contacted Facetheory and was sent a refund, Gutted as I really wanted it to work xx
Love their products! Although like you wasn't fussed about the Vit C cleanser even though it was still nice. Is it just me that can't get their Regenacalm 3% out the bottle though?

I bought the Amil C whip without SPF but I feel like it is too rich for me and it is clogging my pores. I got a few of those little white heads after a few days of use. Also on my cheeks where I normally don’t break out (normally I break out on my chin and jawline). Did you also experience that? And do you use it every day/night? I also purchased the oil-free moisturizer, I think that is less rich and my skin does not react to that.

Hi there, I've been watching a lot of skin care videos. I have roseacea and its my whole face I find wearing face masks are making it very Red. I have no choice as they are mandatory at work. I've been using Bioderma Redness reduction cream for about a week now along with azealic acid and a very gentle face cleanser, and sun screen. So I assume I'm doing everything right as my acne is finally improving on my forehead. Sorry I am saying way too much here. How long does it generally take to see the redness improve. I was told up to 8 weeks? Please help me out if you have an answer Thanks

I am currently using some of the inkey list serums and they are working so far but I wanted to branch around and I think I might order some from this brand when I'm almost out of products! They certainly have a lot of things in just one product so it would save me some layering.

I have a question about the clarifying cleanser. It exfoliates from what I undestood or it has exfoliating agents. But you can't overexfoliate 'cause it will 'cause damages to the skin so does it mean that I can't use this cleanser everyday?

Used .ca 20 products from them. All are quite sticky on my oily skin but I love their cleansers, vit c serum, azelaic acid, retinol serums. Did not get on with that moisturizer you showed. Ok for night time but way to sticky. Their pore bright series and amil c whip broke me out. Six months long.
