It is better in specs, but apples software hogs too many resources and doesn’t take full advantage of the chip so it’s sluggish and choppy. If it worked with windows, it would probably be the go to gaming pc chip on the market.

And commodore-amiga was way cooler and powerful. It was strong enough to run Mac OS faster with emu. After amiga , apple became undisputed champion of being cool device of the computer world. I miss Commodore so much. At least Uncool apple with aluminum stick became cool again with m1
