Unboxing is always fun, new stuff is always fun. I got a 10 pack of those Chinese fake Ernie Ball strings from a customer, I put them on a couple of my guitars and compared them to the real Ernie Ball strings.. I ended up throwing the fake ones in the trash because they sounded horrible and a couple of strings broke almost immediately + they did not stay in tune properly. but if you don't have any expectations of strings what so ever I am sure they will be fine to use and at the end of the day everything comes down to wha you like, no matter what other people think. I am exited to see the guitar unboxings and videos of putting this parts on the guitars.. :D.
Well, they are not the best strings but for my purposes (constantly changing strings due to other maintinence) they work. Sure, the every odd string is bad but that is not a big problem. Once I get the guitar to where I want it (probably never 😂) I’ll put good strings on it.

Hey, the real word on the street is that those elixir strings could be fake and not worth using, you could look it up and see how to identify thev crap fakes vs the real ones
No doubt it’s fake. But as I explained in previous comments. These I use in the upgrade process on my guitars when I change strings two times a week. When the guitars are done, they get good strings. Maybe I do a string comparison vid. Might be good! 😊🤘
I'm actually looking for the right pre wired scratch plate for my Cathy's custom white Stratocaster. Just not sure yet which sound I'm looking for but leaning towards SRV. Plan on getting a David Gilmour blackie replica also and want to do the pre wired for that one also and try to get as close to the pink Floyd sound as possible so any suggestions or help with this would be appreciated. Keep rockin' these good vids !!

Regarding the Chinese guitar strings, are they any use, Do they last? Do they hold tune?
They are not the best strings but I change strings two times a week because I rework my guitars all the time. I cannot put high end strings on them, it would cost me a fortune!
The hold tune pretty good, I’ve had some that won’t intonate but it usually helps just changing that string. I’ve had no issues with strings going out of tune.

Those strings are all fake I checked the Ernie ball they said they were fake
Yes, they are fake! :)
Dude the strings from Ali express are fake and snap very quickly and rust in about a week.
