Thanks for making these videos. I agree the instruction booklet is absolutely bloody useless. I recently had to do the descaling process on this machine, and if it weren't for UA-cam, I would've had no idea what to do.
Thanks so much for these videos, Bea Jay. I learnt a few things that I didn't know until I watched your videos. The instruction book is a nightmare to understand, especially when I'm in a hurry! Keep up the good work!
Just bought one with the milk thingy, hopeless instructions, luckily a neighbour has one and knows how to set the options. Thank God for her and people like you 😊💕🌺
Why does my drip tray fill up with water and the coffee pods are dissolved. In other words the coffee cup is only half filled as the water goes into the drip tray where the pods are deposited. I can't find it on the instruction booklet or videos
Hi I've recently purchased this machine and set it to hot but I still find I need to put it in the microwave as it is not hot enough, do you know what the temperature should be ? I am waiting on a temperature probe to be delivered to see what it's at before contacting delongi. Your videos have been very helpful thankyou
I don't know what is should be but measured my temperature on the video comparing it to the Saeco. You can adjust to a higher temperature by following the steps here. I found it plenty hot for me. Especially after changing to the highest setting. I guess it also depends on how hot you like the coffee
@@beajay1179 saw your video on how to change the settings and I did that thanks, but no good, I previously had a breville one touch which was much hotter so just used with having a hotter cup lol. Thanks for your help
Hi just ordered one of these and picking it up this Thursday. Replacing an old Delong’s cafe corso . My old machine did not have a filter in the water tank. Just wondering does this come with one. Does it have to be set up on the coffee machine. And what is the filler number for this machine. Are you using a filter does it make a big difference. Thanks.
Hi Anne, access the settings menu by holding down the settings button for 5 seconds. This is the second button in on the top left. Looks like the setting button on your phone - a kind of wheel looking button. You should hear a long beep. Then click on the fourth coffee button from the left - it is different depending on your machine. This will access the auto off button. Then choose how long you want the auto off to be, You use the little coffee bean symbols 1st bean 15mins 2nd bean 30 mins 3rd bean 1 hour Coffee scoop 3 hours Then confirm your selection by hitting the fourth coffee button in from the left and then exit setting by hitting the setting wheel button again. Apologies - I am flat out at the moment and can't do a video. Hope this helps
Hi, when I set that I have fitted a water filter it asks me to open the milk steamer and then pumps out cold water - it feels like it's going to empty the whole tank - I don't have the exact model you have but very similar controls - any ideas?
Have you had any issues with your frother? My frother used to froth really well now it it seems like it just heats up the milk somewhat but not proper froth
Ron, I found a video today, and it solved my milk frothing problem. Go to "Gabe's Life Stuff." Its heading is "Delonghi Magnifica Evo - How to clean and maintain." It shows how to remove a part that I didn't know about. I used a tiny brush to clean it, and now it's back to frothing beautifully. %

Hello, do you have a video on how to set my latte?
I haven't but will be doing one soon. Stay tuned

How do you change to get more coffee in my mug

My frother isn't working as well as it was either. My machine is only 6 months old.
