- National Treasure 2 Book of Secrets - funny part where Ben Gates (Nicholas Cage) gives his hand up to the noble bird in the rock. The part of the scene where Ben tricks everyone into thinking his hand is being hurt is usually cut from tetevision version of the movie.
"We need to join hands ... and in a noble manner ... pass over the bird."

That’s exactly why I came here. No point in cutting it out. It’s like 10 seconds and brings levity to a tense scene.

can't remember them cutting this part out; but I have the dvd. It's a great movie. I heard Disney is gonna make another one coz they run out of franchises to mess up. But I doubt I want to see the sequel; they already cut Cage out of it and a movie like this needs a good story, good planning and a lot of braincells to make it believable to the public; all of which current day Disney doesn't have. I would be shocked if the dumb actors aren't going to fuck up the movie in advance by touting how woke it's gonna be and 'modernize it as a caucasian male as protagonist is problematic' kind of stuff..... Yeah, Hollywood has fallen off a cliff in the last 10 years.
