Places where the locals hang out: brickfields, Kampung Baru, Uptown Damansara. Free (FOC) and interesting places to visit: Perdana Botanical Garden, Batu Caves, Putrajaya etc

Thanks a lot for a nice n wonderful trip from Penang to KL.
If U want to go around interesting places in Greater KL just take Rail public transportation (LRT, MRT, KTM Commuter, Monorail), its more cheaper n avoid traffic jam or U can take GoKL Free Bus.

More adventurous train ride would be 'the jungle railway ' the East coast intercity train that run in the middle of oldest tropical rainforest. Normally visitors will took the ride from Kuala Lipis to Wakaf Baru (Kota Baru)

I advise ordering roti canai or roti nan for breakfast, kebab or fried noodles for lunch, and nasi lemak/campur/rice noddel (Malay food in Kampung Baru) for dinner. I also advise ordering Nasi kandar, beriani (Indian mamak restaurant), and Chinese food at all locations in Jalan Alor. By. Nighttime food hubs in the city center and KL will include night markets and food truck stalls.
