Pushing the button 3 times disables cruise control. Also the suspension can be soften by loosening the 2 bolts under with a 14 mm wrench. It helps so the ride isnt as bumpy. I believed from the factory its at its max stiffness
are you sure those are 'honeycomb tires?" the Hiboy website pictures show holes throughout the tires but yours is just solid with no holes. is that how it's suppose to be?
The solid tire just killed it for me. I had rided a flatted tire scooter for a couple of days and my hands were bumping like crazy just like what you shown at 3:02. My arms were tired out in like 10 minutes of rides.
So we’re you only able to go 6mph on that one hill. Looked like you were crawling but I’m very interested in this scooter. Just for neighborhood riding though
They should both be around the same but from what I remember the S2 Pro did better on the hills than the KS4 Pro. When I get a chance, I want to compare a few scooters to each other like the KS4 Pro, S2 Pro, Niu KQi3 Pro, Ninebot Max G2 (is what I'm thinking).
I dunno why some HiBoy S2 Pros come with solid rubber tires like yours, some come with honeycomb tires. Mine came with the solid rubber tires like yours and they are rock hard with hardly any flex at all. I'd like to replace them with honeycomb tires but they look like a pain to remove 😩.
It stays locked but I do not recommend using it for a long time. What it does is engage the motor in the front wheel and locks it via electromagnetic force. I WILL drain your battery! Once the battery drains, it is unlocked again since there is no power and can be stolen anyways. If not stolen, you can't ride it anyways since there is no battery power left. I never use that feature. I would just use a physical chain lock. Also good idea to open the battery compartment and stick a GPS tracker or Airtag/SmartTag in there.
i dont understand how a 500 w motor can struggle up most hills?? it seems the scooter is still sporting a 350 w motor and they are talking about peak power from the motor. someone should look into this because any scooter with 450w motor and up should not be struggling at 7 to 10mph up a 10% incline something is off.
well i am 200lbs, so that really hinders performance. i just tested (will post this weekend) new segway ninebot max G2 and even that thing struggled up the same hill. Not as much as this but still suffered.
@landpet thanks for the response. looking forward to your findings. i have the etwow gt it also sports a 500 w motor, with 700 peak. this thing goes up hills between 15-20 incline with an average 12-14 mph with my weight of 190. this is why i think these companies may be fluffing the motor power of these scooters. is there a way you know of to test the true output of a motor? its possible in truth the hiboy pro has the same motor as the regular s2 at 350 and its peak is 500 maybe. have you tested both the pro and regular s2 side by side up hills to see if they struggle the same? something tells me they may be exactly the same and that would beg the question what motor is truly in the s2 pro.

Hahahaha your comment has more information then a lot 10min videos! Cheers mate!
That's good to know thx. I'm about to receive mine.
@elmanuboy nice man. Enjoy. It's a very solid scooter to this day
We're thrilled that the Hiboy has become an essential part of your daily routine. We're here to support you if you have any questions or concerns.🤩
Can I ride it in the rain?
@@Eddie-uf6bs They were here, and then they disappeared. Good question btw.
Receiving mine in a few days. Can't wait.
nice! it's a great scooter
@@landpet I eventually got it today (fast 2 day free shipping)and already went out for two rides. Loving it :D
Great review! With all the choices in the scooter market, this video helped me to make a choice!
Thanks! Glad it was useful!
@@landpethi I heard that the stem breaks easily.. are the newer models fixed?

What’s the name of the app?

pneumatic tires are smoothers but you can get flats. Some of them have self healing technology though like the Segway Max G2
@@landpet I don't mind flat tire. The last one that I replaced lasted for a year

Yeah, the budget scooters tend to suffer on the hills.
@@landpet Do you know what was the slope percentage roughly ?
Great review! Thanks
No problem!
How does this compare to the KS4 Pro? Same or better on the hills?

Ks4 is built better

I didn't know that
@@landpet Yeah from some pics/vids I've seen. There are some S2 Pros with tires that have holes in them. Like that one in your Amazon link.
Dude where is this location? Seems beautiful area
Thousand Oaks, CA
Can you tell me how i can remove the speed limiter?
I didn’t do anything special aside from using the app
I have a question. Let's say I lock the scooter on my phone but then I move out the range of blue tooth. Then will the scooter stay locked?
Yes, granted I don't trust the lock features, someone can just pick it up and take it.
@@landpet LMAO yup, I tested it out on my scooter.
