Hey Kyle, I need some advice. I have an 06 Jetta TDI up in here in the Canadian rust belt. Previous owner repaired the rockers once already, but i want to do it again next year. Would you recommend replacing the entire uniside? or just cutting what is needed from the uniside itself
Weld it at the dog leg, b pillar and bottom front door hinge, pointless to do it partial if you’re gonna go that deep already, plus it’ll look better and be a better repair and you’ll gain even more valuable experience….im not Kyle but I think this would work, my co worker did this to a car but he sliced it at the rocker by the front door instead of going to the front wheel open area
@@jeremycruz5985 this is what i was originally thinking, I can get the entire uniside brand new from VW for $1400 for both sides. The previous owner did an absolute hack job of a repair. I'd rather do it right and make it last, but im adding drain holes next time lol
Turned out very nice!
How much time you requested for all this repairs?
