Good stuff man I got an old Greco pro spray hoping this pump kit will work on it but we’ll see in the morning 🤞 can’t find a it for it anywhere and Greco can’t even identify the serial number. Packings measure the same ID and OD. Supposed to be pumping out a roof job tomorrow after I fix it. You ever work on these gas sprayers?
ok question. I have a 1500 plus. Ive repacked it before and today I noticed its asking for a sleeve removal tool. I don't believe Ive used it in the past. Just have to put it back together, do I have to use that tool? 224-788 tool
@@sekaf4125 the sleeve removal tool is used to replace the sleeve or the upper O ring. If the O ring is not leaking and the sleeve is not being replaced, there is no need to remove the sleeve
Hey Brian, I never noticed before when repacking a pump. My 1095 ultra max 2 was being repacked in our shop today and I realized the lower packings have a little play between the wiper and the fat metal one third from bottom. is this normal ? I always thought it was pretty tight fit and the packings should not move once tightened. Am I wrong?
The piston set up is male gland installed on piston first followed by the "plastic" then leather alternating until they are installed. Place the female gland on, I think this is the fat one you mentioned. The fat one should actually sit just pasted the end of the piston. Place the wiper on the outlet valve housing then the ring on top. They can be switched, depends on the manual you use. Once the outlet is threaded back on to the pistonand tightened, the packings should not move.
Thank you so much for making this video. It helped us get one of our machines running again.
