Wow Digger this is an amazing piece of work! Your attention to detail is impeccable, I can tell you have some superb artistry and creativity. All of the weathering looked spot on and you even had the flicker in the smelting plant! Great stuff you got here, keep up the good work, looking forward to what your building next👍🏼😁🇺🇸
Yes me too some of them have a serious value to them as they were never intended to be anything other than a cheap toy so there is some very rare ones out there
🇺🇦 Hi Digger. Just subscribed to you. What a brilliant scrap yard. You've put a lot of thought into it. Lot of weathering and ageing done. Well done buddy. DELPH JUNCTION (Pete)
Wow that a lot of junk you got there. Great job and some car sacrifices you made there. Real nice work there and at least you can keep the train room clean.
Alright bud, Long time since i made any comments. Great work, Just been looking for some ideas for a scrap yard im doing myself. Just 3d printing some concrete fencing for the outer walls. Will probably put some barbed wire in place aswell.
Hiya Ken,I hope you're well my friend. A scrap yard is an excellent place for employing lots of different techniques of weathering and rusting etc.. i look forward to seeing how it goes my friend. Thanks for getting in touch mate good to hear from you
Digger I missed this one superb , puts mine to shame although technically they are restoration lol regards fred ps just a big haul from my daughter and son-in-law they saved them from the tip
Wow, fantastic realistic scene my friend even down to the brilliant general grime and rust flakes you find in such yards, have subbed to the channel and look forward to more updates, thanks for the channel and all the best, Paul
What an amazing model!! so detailed... the aging on the models is just perfectly done.. impressive! New follower here from Pusa's live stream. Congrats on 500!!! Cheers :-)
Like your scrap yard Digger. Nice & rusty. Have you heard of Juweela ? Anyway, they make crushed HO vehicles. Great models easily reproduced in resin. Casted over 120 crushed cars already for my scrap yard.
It looks really good. I think you've done an excellent job. Theres a few more things you could do to add realism I'd suggest. Putting forks on the wheel loader instead of having the bucket. The plastic train wheels have that pointed end that you could cut down flat to look more real. Adding ruts from the wheel loader traveling around with some deeper areas that have muddy water and just muddy in general with puddles all around. Most scrap yards are not smooth anywhere the equipment would drive back and forth. One other thing is that some scrap yards have racks that have dimensional metal like angle iron, square tubing, even plate steel and sheet steel that are nice enough to save and resale as like new instead of shredding. Please do not take my suggestions as saying you've not done a good job with what you have. It looks good now. I am simply offering observations of my own experiences of things I've seen from being in scrap yards that might help you in some way or another. I feel like giving feed back and getting feed back like this is a good thing. Someone might know something I don't that might help me if they share there thoughts. We're supposed to help one another I think. Hope I helped inspire some ideas. 👍
Hiya William thank you so much for your ideas I am grateful that you took the time and effort to reply thoroughly I really appreciate what you've said and I'm already making the suggested changes in my head ha ha, I will certainly take on board everything you've pointed out and implement as much of it as I can ,many many thanks for your input my friend
