Pozdrawiam!

    Thanks for the video!
    Currently considering upgrading from my 1.4HDi 206+ to a 159 2.0JTDm.
I drive aprox 300-500km per week (100km per day), and after a year or 35.000km Im starting to seek a bit more comfort hehe.
Do you have any tips when looking for 2.0JTDm?
Figured this is the latest version of the 159, so most of the issues with them have been ironed out and it goes the furthest on km/l.

Hey, glad you liked it. So when it comes to comfort they are really good, quiet and smooth, also the fuel economy is good, especially if you get the 170hp engine. Even though it is the last version of 159 it has its problems. There are gearbox issues on high mileage Alfa's (they whine when you let go of the gas), also the intake manifolds are made out of plastic, they like to crack and cause issues, also in these intake manifolds there are flaps that can fall into the engine and make a great explosion, so you have to delete the flaps. Bodywise if they are not cleaned properly they can rust on seals/subframe and wheels arches. If you find one without these issues you will be driving it for a loooong time. If you have some time check out ItaliaAutos channel - he has a great video on what to look out for when buying these cars - also he knows a lot about them

@@robertadamski I have already checked out his videos hehe, thanks.
Even the last one had gearbox issues? Only thought it was the early 1.9JTDms that had the troublesome M32 gearbox or whatever it is called.

From what I know the 1.9 and 2.0 diesels have problems with gearboxes unfortunately. Still I would recommend this car very strongly, the way it drives, handles and looks its just great.

@@robertadamski Exactly, I love the design a lot. I have tried a quick trip in one, and its very nice!
But I cant really decide to go for 2.0 or 2.4 i5 though.

My friend had 159 2.4 - it sounded great, pulled quite well but since its heavy it accelerates very similarly to 2.0 170hp. Some people say the 2.4 have issues with heads and blocks cracking, but my friend did over 150k kilometeres in this car and no issues with that (even though he pushes it really hard). I think both are good choice.
