- We continue exploring the city of Hyderabad in India and in the center around the famous Charminar building I stumble on the beginnings of an Islamic festival. Local Muslims are celebrating the birthday of one of the prophets. With great enthusiasm they pull me into the mad celebrations on street is a slowly go deaf. Various locals take good care of me and towards the end we have some food tastings, enjoying once again fine Indian hospitality.
And comes BJP here snd to try to cause hindu muslim tensions snd conflicts. We love our Hyderabad. Hindu muslim bhai bhai ❤

Not sure if anyone already commented but the celebration was for the "Urs" (death anniversary) of the great muslim sufi saint Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani (r.a) whos resting place is in Baghdad, Iraq.

Most muslis around charminar donno telugu....its like old city and they stick to their urdu only but rest of Hyderabad Telugu along with urdu revolves...but Telugu is the primary and main language in Hyderabad and secondary language is urdu which is used due to the muslims living there
One more correct here is syed abdul kader gilani / ghause e Azam dastagir is not a prophet but saint / awliyah Allah , who we believe is beloved of Allah swt.
