Always a joy listening to the NO Jazz delights from the 'Skinnys'. These dudes/dudettes 'cook a mean gumbo' and singing with a cigarette in your mouth takes a particular kind of 'laid back cool'!!
Glad to see Tuba Skinny back in the Quarter. It's cool that they're touring all over now, but New Orleans just wouldn't be the same without them. They should pass a city ordinance to put them on paid retainer as official ambassadors. All expenses paid.... just keep right on playing every afternoon down on Royal St. It would be tax money well spent.
