My first LP-disk ever back in 1956 was of Louis Armstrong, so You can image, that I still like the New Orleans kind of music, over here living in Finland. Thank You Tuba Skinny.
In defense of Craig = he is a most talented and exciting player with great imagination and a wonderful sense of h umr which cones thrugh many of his wonderful solos.
Why have to defend Craig !?!?! Just because Jon and Ewan aren't here? No need. Craig fits just right and excels. If there's virtuosos in this ensemble Craig would be one. But it's the Group Psyche or whatever, groove , that makes them the best MHO✌❤
Shaye has the ability to pick up a golden oldie song and add her magic to create a much more beautiful rendition than the original. I am fortunate to witness a gifted genius here.
frederik Bogaards Have you heard the Dutch Swing College Band version from their 1952 album, with two dueling and synchronized clarinets? This tune became a stock staple of the DSC, typically with the reed duo. There are multiple versions posted on UA-cam!
Wow, is this great! Craig, Shaye and Barnabus are terrific in their solos, and Robin's moment is one of the best he's given. The light is lovely, but what makes this video so strong is the energy of the band. TS sizzles here.
The band hits you right away with its sprightly performance. Suits the tune, ironically. Slide player is sharp…they all seem to have n individual style. Wish I was down on Royal Street findin' an SRO for this perform!
What a talented group of musicians! Craig Flory just nails his solo beautifully and normally gets the fleeting smile of approval from their leader Shaye Cohn. He really deserved one on this occasion but Shaye is lost in the rhythm. No wonder! It is a masterly performance from each and every one there.

This is not Shake It and Break It. Love this band but prefer their other clarinet player. This guy's style is way too out, if that's even what you call that. Sometimes it sounds out, sometimes it sounds out of tune. Either way it's obnoxious. Maybe it's just the sound of an Albert?

What a great Dixieland Jazz band! There is no equal. Those fantastic solos! This is it!!!

Shaye’s strong cornet lead drives the band through all phases pf this magnificent example of classic NO jazz.
I love this band - the only jazz band I watch. I get me a dose of them every day. 🤪🤗❗️
Yesss, dear Edith, the same to me ... every day - all very great performances by Shaye Cohn an her Tuba Skinny!
@@rumpali595 I feel the same
TS the best ...(hourly doses better)...Thank you Tuba Skinny, ever-brilliant cast of characters and NO Dixieland Jazz genius magicians!
One of the best CDs I ever purchased. I have many. I love Erika Lewis' vocals.
They really improved over the years. The arrangements are more defined and the performance is more precise.

They are just sensational ! And what a twilight busking session this was ......
Bob Throne : A very good place aussi ...

Love you guys. One tight band
That one was great. I cracked a smile and tapped my feet. Great stuff. Especially the washboard.
Getting my daily dose of TS ... Totally painless! You can identify their unique sound without even seeing the video ... Bless 'em ..... Mikie
mikie povero hi
Great as always! thank you guys! (and lady of course!)
Amusing and instructive to hear Shaye - at 3 mins 59 secs - telling the others to back her solo by playing just beats 'one and three'.
Great! Good morning from Germany.
good morning from AZAWAD
Ebenfalls guten Morgen aus Deutschland. Ein Tuba Skinny Fan.

Superb
That clarinet guy has a certain ‘sickness’...😮❤️
Ye..esss.. WOW! Great
How does that clarinet player get that jazzy sound I really like it. Can someone please explain how to achieve something like that sound
This is the normal tempo for this number.
A really nice up tempo version.

Excellent! Check out Bohem Rag on this great tune.
I wonder how this tune got its title? Most of it doesn't sound very weary.
hell yeah, clarinet :D
👏👏👏
Unidenntiy
All soloists fantastic. I thought the sousaphone was excellent and funny with a little bit of extra lip and tongue movements to enhance it.
Anyone know who's playing trombone on this tune?
That’s the excellent Russell Ramirez, he usually plays with Smoking Time Jazz Club
Thank you for this excellent information

It is Weary Blues. Maybe you are replying to another video?
