You need to include a full & complete demonstration of ALL seat configurations, especially for the 2nd & 3rd seats. I need to see how versatile, quick & easy it is to setup, take down, &/or arrange seats for kids, cargo, road tripping, van camping, etc. Yes, I love minivans and always maximize their function capabilities.
Jeez... me & my parents still have the 2009 Honda Odyssey(not sure if it the EX or EX-L) & it’s still working great while it has done almost 200,000 miles, except some features here & there
The wife was asking me to upgrade the `Van`` and I found myself watching this very informative video. I currently have a have a 2009 Honda Odyssey EX-L (~112000 miles or 180000 km) and it still drives like a dream, Im not liking all the changes mostly the electronics in this thing but you cant get away from this. Question to anyone: Why will a police pull you over for playing on your phone but when your changing you radio then nav on the console its not distracted driving??!!! I looks like Honda moved the climate controls to the bottom of that screen? Manual buttons! yay!? Can you tell me since the middle seats go down the storage compartment I have on my model is gone? That was great for storing water and junk snacks kids. So far in the last 2 years I have had to replace the rotors once on all wheels and do a timing belt. water pump spark plugs . Runs great still with small rust dot on door well so far. Although I would love to have this new Van I don't NEED one. I hope to get one when this ever dies.
to me the ex-l is the perfect variant for anyone, no need for res and navi, navi is on our phones anyway, and res...you can buy a cheap aftermarket entertainment system that will be perfect for the kids..close to buying one of these. maybe too much assists on these vehicles imho...but still a killer van.
You failed to mention that there is also a EX-L with RES and Navi. ( which is different that one you drove) The change drawer in the center dash is not there if you have the DVD player.
Really nice... But unfortunately i can only buy what my wallet can afford lol so i can only watch videos of this latest minivan but i still love my 03 honda odyssey. anyway.
Heated seats are standard on EX and above, Navigation is available on EX-L and above, Leather-trimmed seating is standard on EX-L and above. Heated steering is standard on Elite, but can usually be added to all trims.

If you need to program a car’s CC so you keep a safe distance from the car in front of you, you should probably not be driving. One Should be a safe distance anyway and be alert to your surroundings. Most the things on these cars are gimmicks and not really necessary, just money grabbers that just sound good.
Fidel Damasco they will fold forward but they are not stow and go like the Chrysler. They have the patent in that. It’s the only thing I wish Honda had.
I was in the same boat in 2016, but I was able to get the suburban but found it to be underpowered so I passed. Not sure if they bumped the power a bit or not by now. I took a gamble getting an Odyssey and have to say it was worth it. I do miss our old Excursion though.

That's a great idea, Dee! If we are able to get to resources for such a video, we'd love to demonstrate some of the capabilities!
Great video, still useful today, at the bottom of the planet in NZ.

Fidel Damasco they will fold forward but they are not stow and go like the Chrysler. They have the patent in that. It’s the only thing I wish Honda had.
I like big cars, the suburban is the one I want, but can't afford to pay 53k for one, but a mini van I can buy :-)
