There is this story about a similar hand called the Duke of Cumberland, where a grand slam was bid, redoubled, wagered with a bet of 20,000 quid and made on 7 HCP.

Thanks for sharing this interesting video. The whole game is of unique distribution. If that is the case why 7, hypothetically you can make 7 spade with only 5 points with favourable distribution. Isn't it 😀
